*Homestar's mouth is in the same shape as in the book when he says "Where my hat is at?"
*This is the second tenth anniversary remake of a book, the first being [[Strongest Man in the World]]. As was the case in [[Strongest Man in the World]], only the conclusion is changed from the original book, but Homestar still expects the book's conclusion to take place.
*Almost all of the scenes of the cartoon are taken directly from the original book. A few images are different, however. For example, the refrigerator contents are in a different order in the cartoon. Also, the meat on the grill is a ribeye in the book and a t-bone in the cartoon.

===Remarks===
*The text on [[Hanging Objects#Marzipan's House|the picture hanging above Marzipan's couch]] has been changed from "Thank You" to "You're Welcome".
*Coach Z's emblem has been changed to match the original book. The "Z" has an upward, curved point on the top left-hand corner.
