Fun Facts

  • This is the first appearance of Coach Z and Bubs, as well as the first and only appearance of The Umpire.
  • Coach Z's name is spelled "Coach Zee."
  • This is one of the few times Homestar is seen drinking cold ones. He also has one at the end of the Theme Song Video.
  • In the old version, on the image with Bubs, the page URL is hs1x, whereas the others are hs1, hs2, hs3, etc. The Brothers Chaps may have forgotten to put it in, which is why it didn't follow the order, and clicking 'back' from hs14 took you to hs13 rather than hs1x, as it should have. This has since been fixed in the new version made on February 14, 2006.
  • In the old version there were buttons for 'next' on the last image, and 'back' on the first image. Those would take you to cartoons.html, which was 404'd. This has also since been fixed in the new version made on February 14, 2006.

DVD Version

  • The DVD version features creators' commentary. To access it, switch your DVD player's audio language selection while watching.
  • The book is read out loud now.
  • Instead of the images being fullscreen, the book is now presented in a similar fashion to kids' book, with the same music playing.
