Seriously, while I agree with you on all bases (the plural of "basis"; look it up) of what you said to The thing, you have been asked repeatedly not to interject advice about the "right way" to use the wiki, in particular when all you're doing is reiterating what a sysop has already said. How is it, exactly, that we're not getting through to you? The ability to speak with authority does not happen overnight. Rather, it is earned with time and good contributions. Especially time. Right now, you are continually overstepping your authority. If you don't stop this behavior, I'm going to restrict your ability to edit talk pages. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 23:50, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

:By the way, I'm just kind of dropping in here: I've been on the wiki a lot less since early February, and it's clear that I'm a little behind; reading between the lines on your current user page I can kind of reconstruct some of what I've missed. First of all, don't worry about taking time off from the wiki, and don't feel the need to make it a matter of leaving "forever" (unless you sign an oath in blood). Perhaps it would be more productive to give yourself some kind of wiki-limit, like only editing on Mondays, and then only on the new cartoon's page. Secondly, making mistakes and annoying people isn't necessarily so "melodramatic," as you put it; at least, it shouldn't entirely surprise you. It's called being human. Now, if you find that you're making a ''lot'' of mistakes in short amounts of time, it might mean something. In your case, I think it probably means slow down. If you're trying to drive at 60 mph with no headlights, you're probably going to run over some things; if you try to wiki at 60 mph the results are similar. By "slow down" I don't mean just wiki ''less'', though that have therapeutic benefit; I basically mean '''chill'''. I can't tell you how often I see something, start to reply to it (or revert it), and halfway through, close the tab. At that point I either thought "It isn't worth the effort," or "If I say this I'll be starting an argument over something that isn't big enough to deserve one," or "What I'm saying just doesn't really need saying," or "I'll wait and see whether others feel the same way, and maybe ''then'' do something about this." So if necessary, take a wikation, but I ''do'' hope you'll be back. Despite whatever adventures I've missed, I ''do'' think you're a user with a lot of potential and desire to learn. (The desire doesn't always make learning ''easy'', but it's sure harder without it.) —[[User:AbdiViklas|AbdiViklas]] 01:07, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Next Friday, probably. I've been hoping to get off here, as I've been on way too much. Btu let's wait and see if that obsessive compulsive disorder everyone knows I have takes over and hits me with another three months here. In the meantime, relax. I'll still talk to you about awesome pastires and stuff. — Seriously (Talk) 02:52, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Welcome message

Hey there, Seriously. I'd like to tell you that one of the links on your welcome message is messed up. It should be linking to Special:Recentchanges and not Special:Recent changes (with the space). Just a heads up. See ya round, Brown! Has Matt? (talk) 03:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I noticed that and tried to find the page, but couldn't. Bluebry 03:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, guys. I'll fix it right now. By the way, do you like my welcome message? Do you think it's too long? — Seriously (Talk) 03:29, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
No, it's pretty grood! Bluebry 03:31, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

homsarmy

Hey there seriously,
I was mulling over your thoughts about doing something with the Battle of Strongbadia on fanstuff, and I think that it would indeed be pretty cool. Do you want to do, like, a novelization or something (e.g. "Bullets whizzed overhead as secomd lieutenant Strong Sad crawled on his stomach through the muddy trenches toward his inevitable demise") or did you want yo do something else? Let me know when you get the chance.

My mother is the MPH, Homsarroks. But yeah, it'd be cool for it to be like a book. You're example sums it up perfectly. But what do you want? I'll set up the page and begin it as long as we've agreed on something.

Ohyeah—Taco Salad of my dreams made this awesome image: Image: Battleofstrongbadia.png. Can we actually edit the image and change it to fit our standards? — Seriously (Talk) 00:20, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I don't know about the image, but I think that it would most definitely be awesome if we could novelize it. Maybe we could put in some historian interviews, too, like "The Homstarmy's defense was indeed valient, but it failed under the continued onslaught of the mighty fighting force known as The Brothers Strong--Harbet J. Pickerwallow" or something. What say you?

The couch must run, Approximately the left nostril

Totally. I think we just need a name and we're trhough with planning and on with making. I'm thinking it should be "Behind the blockades: The history of the battle of Strongbadia and it's rebel opponents, The Homsarmy". Now that sounds a-prettypretty good.

Hmm... How about "Hold the Line: The Battle of Strongbadia Story." That sound good?
