Hello again, according to our [[HRWiki:Personal images|image policy]], you can only have three personal images at most, and you currently have four. Do you still want [[:Image:HeyMamaSig.png]]? If not, replace <nowiki>{{personal-image|Wario64}}</nowiki> with <nowiki>{{personal-image-abandoned|Wario64}}</nowiki> in the image description. This will fix your image count. Guestbook

Hey HeyMama, I notice you have a guestbook on your user page. Under HRWiki guidelines, users are not allowed to have guestbooks on their user pages. For more information about what you can and can't have on your user page, see this page. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif 00:05, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

User boxes and user tennis ball cans

Hey, I think I fixed your userbox. (Seems it doesn't like having spaces at the ends of lines.) And I was also going to mention the guestbook, but Venusy beat me to it. I'd recommend reading up on that second link he provided to see why we put that policy in place, since it could (hopefully!) have some bearing on how you relate to other users. (By the way, your username amuses me; for some reason it makes me think of Johny Bravo.) —AbdiViklas 00:17, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Shout! Shout! Let it all out...

Thanks for your help with my userbox! And for the friendly reminder. Gimmie a shout on my usrepage! HeyMama

Um—here's a shout. {shouts} But seriously, thank you for responding so helpfully and cheerfully. Actually, there's still kind of a problem with the change you made. If you have insomnia or something you can read through the entire discussion about the guestbooks to see why, but one of the motivations for shutting them down was that before their use, pretty much the only person editing a user page was its owner, so vandalism was easier to spot. At the end of the whole discussion, this remained a bottom line, "you should not encourage people to edit your user page, for any reason." That's what this talk page is for! So I'd suggest changing it to something like this:
If you have any questions, or want to exchange E-Mails, gimme a shout [[User talk:HeyMama|here]]
... that'll provide a link to this page.
One other detail: in the interests of keeping conversations in the same place, the convention is to reply on whoever's user page the conversation started on (that's why I moved your initial post over to here). The idea is that the first person will watch the other's page to see if he or she replies. Of course, in this case I'm kind of killing my own argument since 1) I probably wouldn't have noticed if you'd replied here, and 2) if I were really following that to the letter I would have put all this on my page! So in other words, if you think the person isn't noticing, or wouldn't notice, your reply, feel free to leave something on their talk page.
Oh, I forgot; one more thing. You mention "exchanging emails"; I would not recommend actually writing your email on this page, or encouraging others to write theirs. By far the safest way to exchange emails is through the wiki's software. If you look at your user page, you'll notice a link on the left saying "email this user." If someone clicks that, they get a form where they can enter their message. This will only work if they're a logged-in user with an email address of their own on file. Note that this form doesn't show your email address; it just sends you their message. When you get it you'll know their email address, but they still won't know yours unless you respond (protecting you from potential rogue users). On the other hand, if you (or others) just leave an email address out here in the open in the html, not only can any random scary person get it, but it will most definitely be harvested sooner or later by spam bots (if, for some reason, you ever need to post an email address somewhere and want to protect it, see this technique). Finally, you could add even one more measure of security: if you get gmail, they make it easy to have an extra address that forwards to your main one. The address I have registered here forwards to my main email address so I'll see it immediately, but I can reply under the "alias" as well, so nobody has to know my real address. If for any reason my "alias" address should start getting spam or fall into the wrong hands, I can just replace it with another, and my main address is safe. There's nothing worse than trying to tell all your friends, relatives, and business contacts that you're changing addresses again, and then trying to remind them over the next year as they continue to use your old one. —AbdiViklas 05:50, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

DOOT! DOOT! DOOT!

Help me! I screwed up my userbox! I will give you a reward to the first person to help. All you have to do is (a) fix it! (b) Leave your name and a message saying you fixed it and (c) Wait for your reward! — Lost in 7331 sp3k 09:03, 06 November (Its been awile, I know!)

Hey, I fixed your userbox! All you were missing was the bit of code |} to close the userbox tower off at the bottom. What's the reward? Trey56 02:10, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Who's "Sig" is it Anyways

Yo! If somebody could help me get a signature like Trey56 that would great. Another reward will be given. (To You Trey, I'm sorry for copywriting. Please don't sue!) {If you sue I will hate your guts, If you don't I will give you a cold one and $50} — This is getting old 18:38, 07 November

Hey, thanks for the glorious Golbol on my talk page! What do you want your signature to look like? I'd be happy to help you out. (and you can leave the cold one and $50 in the mailroom, I'll pick them up on my break.) Trey56 23:40, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay, here's my initial attempt at your signature request: HeyMamaSig.png I can tweak a couple things if you like. The one thing you requested that I wasn't able to do was make it so that clicking The Cheat takes you to your talk page. To do that, I would have to do one of two things: either (1) change the font to a standard font, or (2) upload a second image of just The Cheat with the glowstick (thus consuming a second personal image). Just let me know if want me to do any of these things or tweak the signature in a different way. Oh yeah, and if you like the signature like it is, just copy the following text into User:HeyMama/sig:
<span class="plainlinks">[http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:HeyMama http://www.hrwiki.org/images/e/ed/HeyMamaSig.png]</span>
Hope this helps, Trey56 02:32, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Glad you like it! I put the right text at User:HeyMama/sig. Now, all you have to do to make it appear when you type ~~~~ is go to "my preferences", click the "User profile" tab, and paste {{User:HotMama/sig}} in the "Signature:" box. Keep on tranglin', Trey56 02:50, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Bad news: I've been informed that the sig I made for you violates the signature standards; in particular, your signature has to include "HeyMama" in actual text. Sorry about that, I never noticed that part of the standards. So, if you happen to get this message, we'll have to do more work on User:HeyMama/sig — If you'd like, I'd be glad to help more (though my effort so far hasn't proven that useful :/ ). Again, sorry about that. See you around! Trey56 07:03, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
What What What?!? - Wario64
Well, after I made that image for you, somebody directed me to the part in the signature standards I mentioned above. However, I'm not in a position to say you can't use it as is, and since it doesn't bother me, I'll let them make a comment if they care to. If somebody tells you that you need to change it and you want help making a new one, just let me know! High fives, Trey56 00:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, I would like a new one. Kinda like this: (The Lappy)<Blue>Hey<Blue><Red>Mama<Red>(The Lappy)(Homestar buttdance that redreicts to talk page). see if you can help. - {{User/, oh, wait, HeyMama
Sounds like a fun challenge — I'll work on it soon (probably tonight sometime). Trey56 00:28, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Homestar, Little help please?

Okay to any one who is willing to help me, Something got screwed up. For some reasin, My usepage winded up on my talk page, and when i tried to delet it, it deleted my userpage instead. So i got the stuff back, when i tried to put the usebox back, that screwed up. So if you could help me (A): get that f***ing text of my talk page, and (B): Fix my f***ing userbox, that'd be great -About to blow a fuse, Wario64 (I don't care about the f***ing time or date!)

What happened

You put a | insted of a / in your sig, so you put {{User:HeyMama|sig}} Which put down your userpage because it has {{User:HeyMama}} in it.--X66x66 20:24, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

P.S. Dont put f*** down, even if it has *s in it.

Some Help? Anybody? Everybody?

Okay, as you all know, I created the Office Space Article, but when I tried to put the dvd cover off Wikipedia, it didn't work. So if somebody could fix it, that'd be great. I would like it to be shrunken down a bit with the subtitle "Yeah, that'd be great."

Somebody please help?

-Slightly used and mostly confused, Wario64 THursday, Jan. 4th, 2007

Well, I'm'a gonna go ahead and tell you that it would be much better to use a screenshot from a Homestar Runner toon anyway. So if you could do that for me, that'd be great. P.S.: I like all the flair you put on your sig, but you should really add three more pieces ;-) Loafing 21:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
how about this I R F 21:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
LoL! Yeah, that'd be great. And if you could just, go ahead and save, that'd be great. M'Kay? - Wario64

New sig

Hey HeyMama, as requested above, I put together a potential signature for you that should come closer to passing the signature standards:

15px-Lappy_small.png HeyMama 15px-Lappy_small.png Buttdance_small.gif

If you like it, go ahead and replace User:HeyMama/sig with the following:

<span class="plainlinks" style="white-space: nowrap">[http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:HeyMama http://www.hrwiki.org/images/thumb/8/82/Lappy_small.png/15px-Lappy_small.png] [[User:HeyMama|<span style="color:blue">Hey</span><span style="color:red">Mama</span>]] [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:HeyMama http://www.hrwiki.org/images/thumb/8/82/Lappy_small.png/15px-Lappy_small.png] {{#ifeq:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|User talk:HeyMama|http://www.hrwiki.org/images/d/d9/Buttdance_small.gif|[http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User_talk:HeyMama http://www.hrwiki.org/images/d/d9/Buttdance_small.gif]}}</span>

Or else, let me know if you want me to change anything. Also, if you end up changing, you might as well mark Image:HeyMamaSig.png with a {{personal-image-abandoned}} tag. Talk atcha later! Trey56 06:57, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Chocolate Cake

Hey HeyMama, what's up? I wanted to let you know that you voted for both revisions of Chocolate cake again! I said chocolate cake again!. Unfortunately, you're only allowed to vote to accept one revision of a fact. So, you probably want to remove one of the two votes (if you don't, only the bottommost one will count, which in this case looks like the less likely of the two to be accepted). Just wanted to let you know so that you could get the most bang for your voting buck. Later! Trey56 01:40, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Voting in STUFF

Hey there, HeyMama. Please explain [2], [3] and [4]Loafing 03:22, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I mean it. Please explain. This is not something that we take lightly. People are getting blocked for voter fraud in STUFF (Theyellowdart is the latest example). I would like to know why you put those names up there. Loafing 19:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I really wanted that STUFF to win. But I won't do it again. Promise. - Wario64
See that it doesn't. Any further tampering will result in a block. Cheers. — It's dot com 19:36, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey, HeyMama. It's frowned upon to delete posts from your talk page merely because they are critical of your actions. And while I'm commenting, let me just stress the importance of not tampering with STUFF votes. It doesn't help anybody — if the supporters end up winning, they have to live with the fact that the only reason the fact got accepted was dishonesty. And as somebody who watches the STUFF voting carefully, I'm concerned that the vote for this particular fact be untainted, since it's so close. Anyway, it's good that you were honest about your mistake, and I trust you'll live up to your promise not to make the same one again. Best, Trey56 19:50, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
