[edit] Welcome to the Homestar Runner Wiki

Hello, Umlaut76! I saw your userpage and thought, what better user than I to welcome you to HRWiki, since I actually have an ä in my username? :-) Anyway, I hope you'll like being part of our wiki. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by my talk page. Talk atcha later! Heimstern Läufer 03:23, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] More Randomness

  • "It is in these fields of Strong Badia where Strong Bad and Bubs gather fishcorn seeds every morning...."
  • When all else fails for this user, he deserves an iron cup of Brunswick Stew to calm himself down over a harsh conflict.

[edit] My Signature

  • Finally! I finished my signature! Here it is:Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) . Also, I will be awaiting for adding on more random stuff every time, every place, and every where. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!)

[edit] Using Show Preview

Hello Umlaut76, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Lapper (talk) 17:20, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

I see. I really didn't know that there would be a recent changes section and not actually just a contributions section you can always enter. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!)
Please, use show preview. even in the sandbox, it still floods. — Defender1031*Talk 21:19, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
I just showed my preview at the sandbox article. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!)

[edit] Editing (a helpful benefit)

  • Is it possible for certain Wiki users/sysops/etc. to edit pages "in a good way"? In other words, can Wiki users edit some pages without it being reverted due to vandalism? -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 16:56, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Any users can edit pages in a good way - that's what makes this a wiki. Vandalism is deliberately adding nonsense or removing page content, which is certainly not editing pages in a good way. The exception is User pages, which may be edited by the user who owns the page only. --Belthazar 23:00, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, yes, that. What I'm really trying to say is: Can certain users edit an HrWiki-related article just to do their quick fix (in a good way) rather than editing your own page and/or talk page? -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 18:23, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unicode processor

  • Yes! I finally made some HTML Codes that are compatable for certain letters! Here is one of the letters I've processed so far: ÿ -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 21:04, 11 December 2008 (UTC) P.S: Teh code is ampersand(&), number(#), 255, and semicolon(;).

[edit] Edit Signature

  • About my signature, I've actually considered a diacritic capital "u" in my signature just to make my signature look even better, but, I seem to have a problem changing my username. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 20:28, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
don't forget that you can change your own signature to have the Ü without having to change the username. (And I'm not sure if non-ASCII characters can be in a username anyway...) wbwolf (t | ed) 22:07, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Umlaut76. Just to let you know, I removed the line breaks from your signature's code because whenever you signed your posts, your signature would display itself over three lines, which broke up the text and flow of the thread. – The Chort 20:40, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Okay......

  • Okay, you caught me. I will at least try to keep recent changes from not flooding. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!)

[edit] Recent Changes: Finished Already?!?

  • Oh-Ehm-Gee, I haven't even checked on the recent changes for quite some time, but, I've finally finished patrolling those current edits/minor edits/new pages for now. So until then, I'll keep recent changes from not flooding and still continue on the Patrol Edit Collaboration. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 18:02, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
