A Wiki Story

Hey, what's with that Wiki Story link on your userpage that links to a nonexistant Fanstuff Wiki page? Some sorta fanstuff you plan on making? - Joshua 03:06, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

That link I created a month or so ago, directing to an informal story that generated during a chat on the IRC channel. That story was, and is still stored here, at the "Powered By The Kilory" wiki, since it's a bit questionable to put something that "Fanstuffy" on the HRWiki. But the PBTK wiki has been running pretty slow, off and on, so at the time I thought of moving my guestbook to the less formal "Fanstuff Wiki", I also decided to switch that link to a link to the story at the HRFWiki. However, I wasn't able to access my only copy at the PBTK wiki, since it was kinda struggling all day. But now it's seemed to recover, and I was able to grab the code from there. So to answer your question simply: Yes, the story's there now. Thunderbird 05:04, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, uh, that... isn't Homestar Runner Fanstuff. At all. It's the kind of fanstuff that belongs on the Wiki User Wiki, which was created because of similar fanstuff not relating the Homestar Runner got out of hand. - Joshua 19:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Hmm... Well I'm not really trying to put it up as part of my work or anything, it's just a funny thing that happened, and I'm hoping to just put it somewhere and link to it. I was gonna just put it here, but since the HRWiki has somewhat high standards for what is allowed, I figured the Fanstuff Wiki would be a safer bet. I really don't care where it goes, I just want it someplace stable. But if it's not allowed at the Fanstuff Wiki, I'll move it on over to the link you provided. Thanks. Thunderbird 00:27, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Well, generally the Fanstuff Wiki has an "anything goes" atmosphere, but occassionally some things go out of hand (like guestbooks did here) and we get strict in that area. We are strict against rule breaking fanstuff, and pretty much anything that's been laid down in a discussion. (Here's the one that's causing problems for your fanstuff.) - Joshua 01:30, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

FYI, Thunderbird, it's "Powered By Kilroy," not "Powered By The Kilory."  :) —Kilory/talk

PROTECT'D?

Just thoght I'd let you know that the Sketchbook image on the Main Page hasn't been protected yet. Just for the sanity of the Wiki, I wanted to let you know. You know, because you can do something about that and I can't? Whatever. Thanks, T-Bird. teeeffoh! 21:44, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Protect'd, thanks. Thunderbird 21:49, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Templates

I want to make my own custom-made welcome message, but I don't know how to make a template. I'll create a subpage for it, but can you show me how to do it? Thanks. Seriously (Talk) 13:44, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Here's the basic rules for creating your own Welcome message (if you so choose):
  1. Create a subpage like "User:Seriously/Welcome".
  2. Type {{{1}}} where ever you want your sig to appear. If you don't want your signature and datestamp at the same place, put {{{2}}} wherever you want your datestamp.
  3. When you welcome someone, type {{subst:User:Seriously/Welcome|~~~~}}. If your sig and datestamp aren't together, instead of |~~~~}}, type |~~~|~~~~}}
  4. Make sure you type "subst" first! Otherwise when they try to reply to your welcome, instead of your message they'll just see {{User:Seriously/Welcome|~~~~}}
  5. If you want to ignore the whole {{{1}}} thing, you can always just make a welcome message without your sig incorperated into it, and just sign your template, like so: {{User:Seriously/Welcome}}~~~~
Hope that helps. If all else fails, just look at the code for something you want to copy, and see how it all works. Like taking apart a radio. (That's how I always learn everything). Thunderbird 15:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you so much. Seriously (Talk) 15:32, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Can I do it on your userpage just to try it out? Seriously (Talk) 15:58, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to the wiki! The coolest place in the world!

Hey! Thanks for joining the wiki! I assure you, pretty much everyone likes seeing a new user join the wiki, so no matter what you'll be treated well here. If you need any help with editing, users, or anything else ask anyone you want on the Welcoming Committee (like {{{1}}}

Here are some things to help you get started:

  • Don't know how to edit? Don't know how to do, well.....anything on the wiki? I know, I was like that too. Just check out the help page.
  • Before you do much serious editing on this site, the best thing you can do is visit the standards for doing so.
  • If you want to create a user page, make sure you visit This page. That way, people will love your userpage.
  • If you're bored, or you just want to know what to do to help the wiki, visit The Stick.
  • If you're looking to just hang out with all the extremely cool people on this wiki, you might wanna check out the wiki forum. Cool place. If you want a more relaxed environment for chilling with users, check out the IRC channel.
  • Above all when on the wiki, be Bold and have fun!

Feel free to delort this message when you are done reading it. After all, your userpage belongs to you. Have a fun time on the wiki, and thanks for joining!

Sincerely,
Seriously (Talk) 15:57, 7 February 2006 (UTC) and everyone else on the wiki.

Fixes

I did a minor fix or two on the template, it should work a bit better now. just type:

{{User:Seriously/welcome|~~~|~~~~~}} Or if you want to take the datestamp right out of the template, just delete the "{{{2}}}", and type this instead: {{User:Seriously/welcome|~~~}}

But it looks like you've got a pretty good handle on it now. Thunderbird 22:35, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Hey man, congratulations on your 8,000th page view. You have, in my opinion, one of the best user pages on this Wiki. 65.6.33.133 00:30, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Woo-hoo, T-Bird, woo-hoo. I've almost caught up with you! I only have 5,400 page views to go. Heimstern Läufer 00:39, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh! You're right, I totally forgot. I'd better update that. And thanks 65.6.33.133, that's nice of you to say. I'd be interested in seeing your userspace, but it doesn't look like you've quite made one yet. Let me know if you ever do, anybody who commends my userpage gets a free pass into my good books. Thunderbird 02:06, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
I guess I'm joining this convesation a bit late, but yeah, it is a cool page. With crap, Yeltensic (T C) 08:44, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Thunderbird 14:09, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Flood

psst... You know you don't have to edit each section individually, right? ;) — It's dot com 21:39, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

True, but if I tried to edit each page as a whole, I'd be FAR more likely to miss entries. This way's alot more methodical, I can test each link to make sure my new id's are all correct, and I can catch when I miss formatting, which I have a few times. Don't worry, I'll be done in an hour. ;) Thunderbird 21:42, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Dude, even so, I'm not gonna go and spend, like, an hour patrolling these. Even if that's just me, it seems a little weird. Seriously (Talk) 22:05, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah ha! Now's my chance to vandalize, without "Seriously's" careful watching! Hahahahaha! Thunderbird 22:07, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, right. You wouldn't dare. Even if you would, that means I'm right that you would be the first sysop to go overboard.......Kidding. Seriously (Talk) 22:09, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Whew, done and done. I'm gonna be typing "Standardized" in my sleep now, I did it so many times. Okay, I'm gonna go pick up my new strongbad_email.exe disc 4 from the post office now and unwind. Don't expect me around for a while... Thunderbird
Doing, like, fourty edits is definitely a reason to watch some strong bad. See ya. Seriously (Talk) 03:36, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Try a little over 150. :) But I'm done now, watched all the commentaries, all the bonus videos, now I'm just waiting for my "Everything Else" DVD to come next week. Thunderbird 03:42, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Holy crap, I need that thing. I've been wanting it for so long......And it's got so much more secret stuff to watch. Seriously (Talk) 03:43, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Heck, you shoulda seen the flood I took care of reverting Dr. Who at the BSWiki... Probably around that amount. Except in your case, it was positive flood... --DorianGray
Yeah, I finally got myself a credit card last month, and finished up my backlog wishlist. In a week I'll have all the figurines sets, all the DVDs and CD's, and my brother's got a Kick the Cheat The Cheat. I'm all set for being the first in line for Everything Else, Volume 2. Thunderbird 03:48, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
You could use browser tabs and show preview to help you. You won't miss entries if you're slow and cautious. Nobody's going to be editing those pages while you're doing it anyway. —BazookaJoe 22:13, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm... Well it's easier to do it this way, but if it's really annoying, I guess I can try and just do edit summaries and whatnot. Thunderbird 22:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Sweet job. Thanks bud; that looks a lot better on RC and histories. —BazookaJoe 22:36, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Your "mystery"

Every time you log in, some ISPs will issue you a new IP number within their range(s). It just so happens that both of the IP numbers in your "mystery" are owned by Shaw Communications, Inc. in Alberta. So, no real mystery, unless you don't get internet service from Shaw Communications. --Jay (Talk) 00:42, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

Well that's not quite the whole thing. Here's the total deal. These edits are mostly by me. At the very least, I know that the first two edits there were from my own computer, at home, troll edits by accident. Now look at the main chunk of edits in December. I was housesitting at a friend's house five blocks away for those. So the main question of my mystery is: How the crap are both my house edits, and my friend's house edits of four months later the same IP address?!?!?!?! Thunderbird 00:52, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah. Well, your friend must also use Shaw Communications. --Jay (Talk) 00:54, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
So you're saying it's just a fluke that somehow my original IP floated it's way over to him? Thunderbird 00:55, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
Yup. As long as you're in the same domain, it's possible. --Jay (Talk) 03:47, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

BazookaJoe

He traded on us look!

That is obviously an impersonator. Anybody who knows BzJ would know that. Plus, "joe" isn't even capitalized. Thunderbird 01:48, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

IRC

You want to hop on IRC quick a minute? I have some sweet stuff to tell you. —BazookaJoe 02:33, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Nikolce Kocovski

Hey, I'm wondering if you can help Nick's page. I don't seem to be able to fix it, but He wants a caption on the pizza trophy. Instead, he's only able to put it on the thermometer thingy. I don't know what to do, but I think you will. Thanks. Seriously (Talk) 12:45, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Spam?

Awl's user page looked like a mess, but I'm not sure that "spam" was the right word... it looked more like a copy/paste of Yahoo's main page or something. There weren't even any links (except a copy of an example link, which went nowhere.) --Jay (Talk) 03:46, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

It was for the sole purpose of advertising, which is completely against policy. And it was Aws' user space. (I also double checked with Dot com first)  ;) Thunderbird 03:52, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
How did you figure this? It looked like a new user playing around to me. And, yeah, forgot the name the moment I looked away. --Jay (Talk) 03:55, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
Well if it was just a user playing around, they're welcome to start editing normally. But if it was an advertiser, they'll either not edit anymore, or try posting obvious spam again and get blocked. You could be right, that's why I left the message. Thunderbird 04:00, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Corn Army

Thanks for uploading the better picture of the Corn Army. I think I ended up rotating the original picture in Paint Shop Pro so much that it ended up distorting the quality, so the better image is much appreciated. I just wanted something to be up there so that they didn't get unacknowledged. :-) Spell4yr 04:11, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

No problem. The main reason was because the pixel size was significantly less than 150px; when added to the Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters list, and it's standard of 150px, it was significantly stretched. I only ever use MS paint for all my images, for this one I took a screenshot and then edited out the edges and dialouge box, leaving just a plain looseleaf boarder. Thanks for uploading it in the first place though, I didn't think of it until then. Thunderbird 04:15, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

greetings from Nikolce Kocovski

Hey there Thunderbird L17, nice to meet you, yeah my user page looks alot neater. its okay what you did. Now lewts get to know each other so more, i already know your from canada, but i got some other questions:

Nikolce Kocovski 09:04, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi Nikolce. My interests include hiking, puzzles, and science fiction (both watching and reading). I do know several of your friends (not in real life mind you), but I do chat with It's dot com and Heimstern Läufer pretty often around here. Well I think that's all of your questions, so I'm gonna go have some breakfast. Nice to meet you, see you around the wiki. Thunderbird 16:12, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

No, I'm pretty sure I am a sysop. Perhaps try clearing your cashe? Thunderbird 20:07, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
ur not even a user! --TheThin 20:09, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Now I'm positive I'm a user. I've been one for about a year and a half now. Thunderbird 20:10, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Edit something! --TheThin 20:13, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
"Something". There, now do you belive I'm a user? Thunderbird 20:14, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Edit something here! --TheThin 20:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh I can't do that, I don't have an account there, and I hate editing annonymously. Thunderbird 20:17, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Make an acount! --TheThin 20:18, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh! You mean make an account over there? Now why would I want to do that? Thunderbird 20:19, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I want you to be a sysop there. --TheThin 20:21, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Well now what good would me being a sysop over there be? Thunderbird 20:22, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
PLEASE! --TheThin 20:23, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Why do you want me to be a sysop so badly? It looks like you've got everything under control over there. Thunderbird 20:25, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I can't explain but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I just want u to go there I want more people there! PLEASE! --TheThin 20:26, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Well what's wrong with this wiki? You've got all you'd ever need over here. No ads, pretty safe from trolls, clean water, clean socks, lots of users, what could that wiki offer me that I don't already have over here? Thunderbird 20:29, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
If ur not goin there go here --TheThin 20:31, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I've been there before, but it looks like a pretty big job. For now this wiki keeps me busy enough. If I have time though, I'll try and add some info about the music videos; I have 24 music video DVD. Thunderbird 20:33, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm getting really mad go to the parody wiki! --TheThin 20:41, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
The Thing, please stop pestering Thunderbird. If he wants to join, he will. You getting "angry" isn't going to help anyone here. teeeffoh! 20:43, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Dude, you can't make him. Just because you are a sysop there does not mean you have force people to go there. And honestly, I don't know about thunderbird, but I would never go to that troll-infested site. Ever. Seriously (Talk) 20:45, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

This has gone on long enough, The thing. You've spammed at least a dozen other talk pages with this, which is exactly what you've been warned against before. This has gone beyond simply pestering. Thunderbird 20:50, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

about my user page

Nick, here, thnuderbird, thank you, for fixing up my user page, though its seems long but with no info in the mjkiddle if you know what i mean. About wiki, my user name is Pece Kocovski.

Nikolce Kocovski 02:31, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

also, i think my pizza image, needs to be big, so that people can see it clearly, probably next to my stress picture. if you can, but if you can't awell(sp)?

one more thing, if i want to add more user boxes, do i put it before these symbols? |}

sorry if i make speeling mistakes.

Nikolce Kocovski 02:40, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

well it looks alot better, but i think the user boxes are a bit to close to my writing, but if you can't fix it, dosn't matter.

thank you very much for fixing my user page.

Nikolce Kocovski 06:27, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

great, it looks better now, maybe in the future (20x6?) when i add more information, my user boxes can then be on the right like other users. i final thing, did you write "about me", forgive if i sound upset, but can you not doodle with my info, after it's mine.

thanks again, i gotta go, lunch is just a bit of time for me (mmmmmmmmmm schnitzels with chips (homer simpson) uuuuuuu).

Nikolce Kocovski 08:17, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I did add "about me" among other things, I guess I got a little carried away. You're more than welcome to change it back, and fix your page however else you see fit. When I start a project sometimes it's hard to stop. I guess it's just who I am; I'm also the kind of person who will start playing a video game for somebody to help them past one hard boss, and before you know it I'm onto level eight and they're outside riding a bike or something.  :) Well I'm stepping back now, please edit your page however you want it done. After all it is your userpage. Thunderbird 08:51, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

my userpage page looks great thanks to you. and the About me is great thanks alot. see you around.

Nikolce Kocovski 04:53, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

I've been checking out the future featured articles, and I was wondering if I could post my opinion. I just wasn't sure. LePorello / T / C 00:19, 20 February 2006 (UTC) (P.S. If I can't, I agree with The Geddup Noise for Week 11.)

How did you get that list of friends? --Dacheatbot · Communicate 18:41, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

I think I've found the best song ever

"24" by Jem is the best song ever. I've listened to it 32 times today, and I still love it. That's my newest finding. Thunderbird 21:51, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Dr. Who?

FYI: "El Medico Quien" is Spanish for "Doctor Who". — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 22:51, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Ah. Thanks. Makes sense now, "Medico = Medical". In any case, he's been blocked, talk's been deleted, and everything's good. Thunderbird 22:52, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Medico = Doctor (of the medical sort). I guess Dr. Who practices medicine and is not just a doctor in some other field. —BazookaJoe 22:54, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't mean Medical was the direct translation. Just that even to somebody who doesn't speak Spanish, Medico probably means something to do with Medical or Medicine, therefore the link to Dr. Who should have been somewhat apparent to myself. I guess I just got distracted by "Quien", I was thinking the username was some kind of Spanish translation of Queen. :) Thunderbird 22:58, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
I didn't read the name fully until I read ACupOfCoffee's message. Then I understood. You may want to block him indefinitelyBazookaJoe 23:07, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
That's the reason I brought it up. Guy almost makes me want to go watch that show. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 23:09, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Done and done. Indefinite. (I can't help but wonder if those other two users created right after was the same guy, trying to get around the Blocks). Can you still create users after you're blocked? Thunderbird 23:11, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
No, the other two are from completely different IPs. Assume good faith. :) — It's dot com 23:14, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Well I wasn't gonna block 'em or anything, but I was a bit suspicious. Plus I don't trust anybody who's username ends in a number. Thunderbird 23:16, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Re: Email processing room

Yeah, I see what that annony meant; I just thought it was extremely nit-picky (i.e., the distance is so small that it doesn't look like hovering at all to me). I don't feel strongly about it, so I'll just leave it for now, though. Heimstern Läufer 23:18, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, you have to view the Flash File for it to zoom it enough to be apparent. But it still looks like a goof to me. No biggie though, on that page Strong Mad's got 3 arms anyways... Thunderbird 23:20, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
The computer and monitor (Strong Bad's) are also floating, to show definite borders, so it might not be a goof. —BazookaJoe 23:23, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah, quite trü. Well if yü want to put it back, I'ma not gonna stop yü. Thünderbird 23:27, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Secrets

Hey thanks, that page was cool! I've been to this site before, but haven't really explored it very in-depth. Granola 23:49, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

No problem. If you liked that page you might also like Interviews and Public Appearances, as well as Toons has a list of pretty much every toon that ever was and is on the site. Thunderbird 23:58, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Signature

How'd you make that sig? Granola 02:33, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
See Help:Signature and HRWiki:Signature. Let me know if you need anything else. Thunderbird 02:36, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I also saw Seriously's posts on this page, and decided to use a sig based on his for now. With crap, Yeltensic (T C) 02:50, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Everybody's gotta start somewhere. I originally copied Firebird's signature. And after a few months it evolved into it's current state. I'm sure yours'll do the same. Thunderbird 03:05, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

my new idea: An article for users.

Hey there thunderbird, how are i've been doing, great though a bit saddened at the departure of Not billy bob bob, i wish i could have known him better. Anyway on to business: in my mind i've came up with an idea for a new article page... for users.

i thought about it this month, i just made three new friends (you, seriously and the double duece), its when i make message, i send them to my friends however as of late, its been a bit thime consuming, not that thers a problem, i do like sending messages, its just that i have other things to that require time. anyway i thought if this article, were for example:

i create an archive called: friends of Nikolce Kocovski.

there i ask a questions that i would ask all my friends, were we can collectively discuss(obviously) Homestar runner stuff, games, things around the world, our country etc.

so what do you think, did i explain clearly?

Nikolce Kocovski 03:05, 19 February 2006

Woah. Honestly?

Really? Totally? Yes? No? Maybe? So? Hm...Eww. Strange. Really? Actually? Amazing. Hm....Well...Did you actually block yourself one time? Seriously (Talk) 00:54, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Yup. I was really bored. Turns out you can't edit while you've blocked yourself, but you can unblock yourself, while blocked. Go figure. Thunderbird 00:56, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Cool. What? Totally. Man. Wow. Amazing. Really? Yes. No. I don't know...May—be? Seriously (Talk) 00:58, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

I can't even log on to a new account

--H*bad 05:27, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Help please

Copied from this user talk page Can help me by letting me know why i am blocked in the fanstuff.hrwiki.org area it would be a lot of help, cause i didn't do any thing i swear.--H*bad 05:09, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't see your name in the fanstuff block log. Do you have a different name at the Fanstuff Wiki? Thunderbird 05:12, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Nope can't say that i do, but thats only in the fanstuff hrwiki though and not this one.--H*bad 05:16, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
If you're blocked over there, but not over here, try making an account over there, and then editing. Let me know if you can create an account. Thunderbird 05:19, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I can't even make a new user account.--H*bad 05:25, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Hmm... Perhaps your IP is blocked. What's your IP address? (When you're signed out, it'll appear where your username usually is) Thunderbird 05:27, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
It is 66.169.190.116 I hope it helps.--H*bad 05:33, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
So can i be unblocked now or should i tell everyone that this website blocks people for the fun of it.--H*bad 05:36, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Neither your username nor your IP shows up in the blocklogs at the Fanstuff Wiki. Try editing this page. Let me know if you can. Thunderbird 05:37, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Nope i still can't what should i do.--H*bad 05:41, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Apperentaly i have the same ip adress as some guy named Darth Homestar runner.--H*bad 05:44, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Are you sure you didn't create Darth Homestar runner? Or might you have siblings who would do that? Thunderbird 05:45, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I have no other computer that can log on and i have been on this computer the whole day so no.--H*bad 05:47, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Are you connected to the internet through dial up, or are you always connected? Thunderbird 05:49, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I am always connected.--H*bad 05:51, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Well I don't actually have the power at the Fanstuff wiki to unblock users, and all the admins over there appear to be asleep. The only advice I can give to you is just wait it out, and ask one of the admins over there to unblock you tomorrow. I'm sorry but I really can't do any more than that. Thunderbird 05:55, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

I am here so what can i do

Sorry i didn't get to your email for a while, but any ways can i be unblocked now or do i have to keep waiting?--H*bad 22:56, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

It still won't let you edit anything? Thunderbird 23:00, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
nope.--H*bad 23:01, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
You could be using a blocked users IP address. Bluebry 23:01, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I need to just talk to Thunderbird, Thunderbird i have an idea, have someone unblock that guy named Darth Homestar runner and maybe i will be unblocked.--H*bad 23:03, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't have the power to block or unblock anybody at the Fanstuff, but I've alearted a sysop over there to the situation, and hopefully we'll hear from him shortly. Thunderbird 23:05, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for helping me, and did you tell the sysop that i did not make darth homestar runner because some people think i did but i didn't.--H*bad 23:07, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Try it now. You should be unblocked. Thunderbird 23:08, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you,Thank you,Thank you, I owe you so much man, is it ok if i add you to to friend(s)--H*bad 23:11, 25 February 2006 (UTC) list.
Sure, I'd never reject a friend's list. ;) Just make sure you thank Super Sam too, he's the guy that actually unblocked you. All I did was ask him to. Thunderbird 23:13, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
There is something wrong again i am blocked again so can you tell super sam to unblock me because i just got blocked for no reason again.--User:H*bad
The Block log shows no activity after unblocking you. Are you sure you're blocked again? Thunderbird 23:33, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes i am very sure, because when i tried to add you to my friends list it wouldn't let me change it because it said i was blocked.User:H*bad
Try editing anonymously. There seems to be some question concerning sockpuppets over there, it's entirely possible one or two of the accounts have been blocked. Sticking to just one account will keep this kind of thing from happening. Thunderbird 23:38, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
O thats right i completely forgot about my friend changing his user name from h*bad1 to something else. if thats the reason that i am blocked then can i be unblocked.--H*bad 23:46, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Do you own the username H*bad over at the Fanstuff wiki? Is it currently blocked? If you do, and it isn't, I would reccomend ONLY using that name from now on. If it is blocked, let me know. Thunderbird 23:53, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes it is blocked no i do not have any more usernames but some people think i do.--H*bad 23:54, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I see. Hold tight for a minute. Thunderbird 23:56, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I have to go i hope you can straighten this out.--H*bad 00:07, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

TBird: Do you need assistance? — It's dot com 00:08, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

The IP for Darth Homestar runner was used again, and as such it was auto-blocked. I unblocked it again. - Super Sam 00:13, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Hebrew

Hey, I've seen a good amount of Hebrew on this site. Is there a lot of users from Izrael? I actually know a bit of Hebrew myself. --Dacheatbot · Communicate 04:49, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Dacheatbot. As far as I know, I'm the only user from Israel on the wiki. Almost all the Hebrew you'll see around here was originaly written by me. If you would like, you can come to my page and help with Priject GHIIQ! Totaly not answering for TB, Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:53, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Who want's to win a cake? figure out the puzzle and you shall win. Its the third brain teaser on my userpage --Dacheatbot · Communicate 06:16, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Thunderbird is the winner. you got it right on both levels Who will win the cake next time. oh! did you like the other brain teasers? --Dacheatbot · Communicate 06:31, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
I did, but my answers were far removed from yours. Namely that I guessed the number 11, and a green wrench.  ;) Thunderbird 06:34, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
I got a new puzzle up! same prize
Do you think im the youngest user on this site? --Dacheatbot · Communicate 15:36, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
The thing is also quite young. However young users can still be excellent users. Firebird was around 11 when he started coming to the wiki, and by 13 he was a sysop. Thunderbird 15:56, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
What does it take to be a sysop? --Dacheatbot · Communicate
You could check that same question on our FAQ! Totally not answering for TB again, Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:08, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Yup, that's as good an answer as any. Thunderbird 16:10, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Do you know how I do major articles like Strong Bad Emails because I checked The Stick and I couldn't find anything. Is it first come first serve? --Dacheatbot · Communicate
It's all first come first serve. Nobody leaves an article about a new toon for somebody else to do all by themselves. Transcripts, yes; besides that it's every man for themselves. Thunderbird 04:31, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't think anyone understands my newest Brain Teaser. --Dacheatbot · Communicate02:31, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
I am also a very young user on this site, being 11. However, Like Thunderbird said, I'm mature enough to not post comments saying "u r kewl doood" or someything like that. It just depends on how much you care about the wiki, I guess. — Seriously (Talk) 23:23, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Also, I'm taking a fair guess and saying that The thing is nine. — Seriously (Talk) 23:29, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
"Like Thunderbird said, I'm mature enough to not post comments saying "u r kewl doood" or someything like that."
Actually, I don't recall saything anything of the sort. Thunderbird 00:37, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry—I gotta reword that. Anyway, I meant that you said young users can still be excellent and mature users. Maybe I'm not excellent, but I am mature.

I think. — Seriously (Talk) 00:40, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, you're definitely one of the more mature "young" users here at this wiki, and I respect that in you. You are possibly the smartest 11-year old I've ever met. Plus you've got a cool userpage and a large respository of sci-fi knowledge. Who doesn't love that? Sure, you're not sysop material yet, but you're definitely getting there! Just keep making those mainspace edits and you'll soon be moving on up to "excellent" level in no time.

Crapfully doo-doo crap, Good jokes, Has Matt? (talk) 00:55, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Were you talking about me or Seriously because you posted the same comment on his talk page. --Dacheatbot · Communicate 05:33, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Wireless Bizness

Hi dude, I read what you talked about with the Guru on IRC, and you mentioned there that, and let me quote: "No sound, Just short animations." I'm sorry to say you are wrong. From what I can remember is was just plain text, from the time cellphones couldn't handle animation. It was something like: Email: {email}. Answer/Strong Bad/SB: {answer}. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:58, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

What? YOU remember wireless bizness? Well then get writing!!! (I have no idea what it's all about really, some info to start the page up would be RAD) Thunderbird 05:06, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I think I was the one who told you about Stu's plum soda, Anyway, after school, boy. after school. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:11, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
After school? But it's Sunday! Sunday evening! I mean how could you possibly have...
Oh right. You and your stupid Bizzaro Timezone. Fine fine, go to your crazy Sunday night school. Next thing you'll be telling me you sleep during the day, and stay up all night...  ;) Thunderbird 05:29, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Hey I know something you don't know

I know guyforerunners password, and why he hasn't been on for a while.--H*bad 21:36, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Good for you. However there are far too many users to lauch an inquisition whenever somebody stops editing. Thunderbird 21:47, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Can I at least tell you, or just imply his password.--H*bad 22:02, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
The reason he is gone is because his computer is broken and he is grounded for a month.--H*bad 22:07, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Never mind you won't get why I am telling you this.--H*bad 22:11, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry to hear that. Sorry, I was away fixing code in sector seven delta, and didn't get your message for a few minutes. Thunderbird 22:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Spelling buff?

Nah, just looking at the commonly misspelled words page.. HRWiki:SP :) i suck at spelling but that thing just.. spells it out for me ^_^--Collin 23:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

In any case, thanks for doing that kind of thing. Rock, rock on. Thunderbird 23:40, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Eclectricity Question

I have an electricity question, TBird. I know you can't put LEDs in series, but can you do bulbs? Bluebry 04:04, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Nevermind. Built the circuit. Bluebry 02:11, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Flashforward

Hey T-Bird, did you make the 2/28 Flashforward interview? 'Cause that'd make it easier to transcribe. LePorello / T / C 01:35, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

According to the recently-updated talk page, he obtained a press pass in the wiki's behalf. How totally cool is that? He really isn't under any obligation to transcribe TBC's speech. I'm sure he'll let us know if it's possible. —THE PAPER PREEEOW 05:25, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Well I really don't want the page to turn out like other similar pages, so I'm gonna make a totally rad and readable writeup of the event here. It may take a while, but it's coming. After all, my press pass was on behalf of the wiki, so I'm somewhat obligated to report and share the experiance with aforementioned wiki. Thunderbird 05:43, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Not you

Sorry 'bout that. I just didn't want anyone impersonating you. I'd hate it if someone was impersonating me. Bluebry 02:59, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Haha, no problem. Thunderbird 06:36, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Stinkoman Level

Here's the code to that level you wanted. Follow the instructions on this page to play it. Your mock-up isn't too good, so you'll need to tell me any inconsistancies that you find. I kind of want to get it as close to the original as possible. - Joshua 20:21, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Help again

I have been blocked again, to see my comment go here.--H*bad 16:52, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

Please help!

Please block Homestar Swimmer when you get the chance! Beat 16:27, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

If there is an active vandal, most likely there is a sysop watching recent changes who will block him without prompting. If it continues for a few minutes, add the name to WikiTroll. If that doesn't work, try contacting the most recently active sysop, according to Recent Changes. If that fails, you could also try alerting somebody on the IRC. If even that fails, and the vandalism continues for more than 10 or 15 minutes, then likely by some bizzare happening there are no sysops here at all. Then you may leave a message on my talk page. But even then, it probably won't do any good, since by the time I log in and see it, most likely another capable sysop will already have logged in, seen the problem, and blocked them. Unless I'm visably active, leaving a message here really doesn't do much. Thunderbird 22:56, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
If there are no sysops that are logged in and active but not checking recent changes, it won't do much good to contact any of them. You'll just have to keep reverting until a sysop comes around. They always do eventually. —BazookaJoe 23:00, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Good point. Yeah, for all intensive purposes, the best thing is just to revert it and wait for a sysop. Usually you don't have to wait too long. Thunderbird 23:02, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry Thunderbird L17, that was my first experience with a troll. Please accept my apology. Beat 00:12, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Protected subpages

I'm not entirely enthusiastic about your protected subpages. I think that it's unfair to normal users. Just my thoughts. — Seriously (Talk) 18:07, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Seriously, I thought I already gave the final word on this topic at HRWiki talk:Protected page#Wrong protection. There is no need to bring it up again here on Thunderbird's talk page. Please leave him alone. Thanks. -- Tom 22:41, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Oh, didn't know that. Sorry, Thunderbird. — Seriously (Talk) 22:52, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Just wondering...

Hey T-bird. I thought that I might ask you a question. I've seen these a couple times, and what is User:Usernamehere/monobook.css? I noticed a couple users had a page for it, and I wanted to know what it was for. Thanks a bunch! teeeffoh! 23:09, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

It changes your specific Wiki display options. You can do all sorts of things with it, FireBird even made his sysop "rollback" button flash. I really don't know much about HOW to make stuff happen though, best I can do is see what users do and copy them. I haven't really gotten around to personalizing them at all much, but I probably will someday. Thunderbird 23:12, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Sounds confuzzling. teeeffoh! 23:14, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
It is. As another example, it seems as though Tampo's trying to make his new messages bar appear blue. Like I said, customization that effects only the user that implements it. One more thing I forgot to mention, I'm pretty sure that both of those kind of pages on my subpage list can't be edited by fellow users, only the user it belongs to.
