Happy easter

Hello thingy, how are you, how's easter (If you celebrate it?)?

Snything happen recently?

Nikolce Kocovski 01:56, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Nikolce Kocovski, Yea I celebrate Easter. It's good. I get a bunch of candy. (Who wouldn't like that?) I won't be on here today. Going to my cousins house. So, that's it. --TheThin 15:29, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Fifth Warning

Hey The thing. I've noticed that you once again have uploaded another personal image without abandoning one of your previous personal images first. This is getting very tiresome, as you have been warned time and time before. You can easily check here how many personal images you have, and you are likely well aware you are up to your limit. Since you are a member of several wikis, including many of your very own, I suggest you upload as many images as you want there, and keep to your two (and one sig) image limit over here. If you continue to repeatedly go over your image limit, we may have to take action beyond simply repeatedly informing you. Please mark one of your images for deletion at this time, and keep your limit in mind in the future. Thank you. Thunderbird 18:56, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Disrespect

The thing, we will not allow you to disrespect The Brothers Chaps father in such a manner. You are not to mention Don Chapman in any context on your user page. If you do, I will personally see that you are blocked from editing. Thanks. -- Tom 06:10, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

The thing, I am absolutely astounded and appalled that you would post such an insensitive userpage. This kind of behavior is wholly unacceptable and without excuse. If common sense doesn't tell you that something like that is grossly inappropriate, then having it be removed by a sysop should have at least been a clue. You're lucky that we have not chosen to block you immediately, because right now I would literally block you for a month or more. I sincerely hope you will examine the kind of edits you're making and clean up your act. — It's dot com 07:36, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
I wasn't beeing meen. I was making my page in memory of him. Sorry if it was affenceve. I was trying to be nice. I'll delete it. --TheThin 21:29, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Making a joke userpage with someone's name is not a way to remember the deceased. Rather it comes off as mocking them. Note that Tom's restriction still applies to you: DO NOT mention Don Chapman in any context on your userpage, even one you think is respectful. Your recent edit leaves doubts in my mind that you are able to know what a respectful context is. Thank you. Heimstern Läufer 21:35, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

I can not believe you!

You should be ashamed of yourself! I can't believe you would do something so bad! You deserved to be blocked forever! 70.153.96.80 20:21, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

You, 70.153.96.80, deserved to be blocked for vandalizing The thing's user page. Please don't criticize The thing like that. It just wasn't socially acceptable, what he did. Move on. —BazookaJoe 20:27, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Welcome Messages

When Smiley deleted your welcome message he wasn't being mean. It says right in the message to delete it after you've read it.— Bassbone (TALK Strong Mad Has a Posse CONT) 01:21, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

No, I ment to say "You meen this..." but it didn't work. --TheThin 01:23, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry if I deleted something I wasnt supposed to. I still am figuring things out so my apologies if I was being rude -Smiley

Oh!! When I said "You meen" I ment "You meen to put this..." But it didn't show up. --TheThin 11:36, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Bar

Hi thing. Did you have a use for this, or do you just want it as a personal image? Thunderbird 20:01, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Guestbook

I just wanted to point out that your "People with wikis of there own sign here..." thing on your page is technically a guest book. I suggest that you remove it, and please do not make it again.-- Benol, aka Coach B 16:27, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't have to. It's not a real guestbook. Othr people have signing things too. --TheThin 18:27, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Don't do that

I know you were just trying to be helpful, but when someone is doing something that requires several steps, please wait (a while) to step in and do one of the steps for them. I nearly deleted AIK 74's user page because I didn't know you had just moved it. Thanks. — It's dot com 00:22, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Revert

Why did you revert my change for Holy Bibble in the Website Sightings selection? It's a webcomic like the others in that selection. — 210.55.100.105 (Talk | contribs) 01:21, 14 May 2006 (left unsigned)

Well, it is suppose to be in Comic Sightings. --TheThin 11:40, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Signature for Mother's Day

You might as well change your sig, now that it isn't Mother's Day. — Seriously (Talk) 00:04, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Oh yea. --TheThin 00:08, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

2 days or maybe one

Hey the thing just wanting to remind you that editthis.info will be up in 2-1 days. {Celebrating}--H*bad 23:05, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Is editthis.info slow to you?--H*bad 21:21, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, very. --TheThin 21:22, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
I wonder why.--H*bad 21:28, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

HRWiki blog

The thing, not only do you not have the authority to create anything in the Homestar Runner Wiki's name, but your "blog" violates Blogger's terms of use, as you are impersonating another person or entity. Please cease and desist by deleting it. -- Tom 21:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Fanstuff

Have you moved out of the fanstuff wiki?--H*bad 12:34, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Kind of. --TheThin 12:41, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Thats horrible.--H*bad 12:46, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, I'm on there today. I'm on there a lot but I never make an edit. --TheThin 12:49, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

RE:Newbie

I'm pretty familiar with wikis. AlliterativeAssociate 16:26, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

okay. --TheThin 16:34, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks!

I recently realized that you corrected an error on my page when checking through my history page and would like to personally thank you. Yeah, that's it. Steve Talk Contributions 01:04, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Well, That's why I'm here. And Your Welcome. --TheThin 19:52, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

editthis

So do you think that this has died?--H*bad 15:52, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes, have you seen funny wiki ? --TheThin 15:52, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
No, not yet, but I did see efilms. Which I was going to redo the main page, but oh well.--H*Bad 15:54, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Your still editing there?--H*Bad 15:56, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
A little. But not anymore. My computer wont let me for some reason. --TheThin 15:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Me too. Maybe its because of that its a peice of crap website.--H*Bad 16:00, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

(Don't) sign here

Hey, The Thing! I was all set to revert Homsar7's edit to your page. When I saw that he was in fact contributing to your Email-song section, I thought for a minute, but then reverted it anyway.
There are currently four places on your page where you encourage others to edit it. This has been vaguely or indirectly unapproved of in the past (and I notice you've been asked not to before), but by now it's officially not cool. Please see the user space standards, recently edited to make this more explicit. And please remove these sections from your page. Thanks! —AbdiViklas 22:30, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Hey—talk about it. You know what revert wars accomplish. —AbdiViklas 22:49, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
The Thing, you have reverted a sysop's correction, which he explained in full here in Talk, to your page twice now. Don't you think a better course of action is to explain here, in Talk, why you feel the edit should stand? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:52, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
He has permission! --TheThin 22:53, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
No, he doesn't. Read the user space guidelines. Especially the part where it says: "Please do not encourage anyone to casually edit your page. Casual editing of another's user page is strongly discouraged and in most cases may be reverted." — It's dot com 22:54, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
What you are asking for on your page essentially amounts to fanstuff. Feel free to take it to the fanstuff wiki. — It's dot com 22:56, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
  1. Thanks for fixing that. I don't know what I was doing!
  2. Actually, there is such a thing as bedbugs! There's some very disturbing reading right there.
  3. I put a note on my calendar to check in and see if you'd removed those sections of your user page I talked about above. I know you're planning on leaving, but if that doesn't happen for some reason, "I'm gonna need you to go ahead and" do so. Or, if you're not around to, I'll assume you're cool with me removing them. In particular I'm talking about Quesions and E-mail song SIGN!, although People with wikis of their own sign here... and Funny links are kinda borderline. Those two could easily be converted by removing the encouragement to edit and remain as lists. —AbdiViklas 00:32, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
  1. Yea. lol
  2. That's kind of creepy
  3. Ok.

Reasons for reverting

The thing, when reverting an edit (other than vandalism), please always give a reason for the revert. Do not just write "rv". I am frequently uncertian why you have reverted an edit, and I know I am not the only one to have this problem. Please understand that if you continue not to give reasons for your reverts, I will feel free to revert your reverts when I don't understand them. Heimstern Läufer 21:30, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

ok. --TheThin 21:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
