Signatures

Hey, The 386! I have been noticing that, when you are on talk pages, you sign your name like this The 386. That isn't how you sign. Here is how you sign. The 386. Just want to let you know! Rogue Leader / (my talk) 22:28, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

And the easy way to do that is to use four tildes: ~~~~. Generally we use four tildes to sign on a talk page and three tildes to vote on STUFF (four tildes is a signature with a timestamp). Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 22:30, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Oh, crud. I'll try though. Is this better? The 386

Yep. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 22:35, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Were good. The 386 22:37, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)The 386

It's fine, but you don't need to use the tildes and then put The 386, just the tildes. It's no big, but it looks like you're signing twice. :) Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 22:38, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Right. The 386 22:39, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

How to do custom sigs.

Likes you asked...

Go to User:The 386/sig and edit it as you please. You could make it The 386(talk) or anything you want. Then go to your preferences and in the "Your nickname (for signatures)" box put and make sure you have the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" checked. Then everytime you put ~~~~, it will put that sig. - Camalex(talk) 01:35, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
