:::I'm a little cunfused. Do you mean the little one or the big one? Also I just replaced the rotatey image with the Tenerence Loafing Sign so it may look like the same rotating image but flat if you still have the cookies and cache from the old image. Giving it it's own file name would be a good idea. I'm not sure if someone will delete it though, because I still have an image up for deletion.  16:29, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

::::The cookies and cache thing is probably what happened. It looked like a poorly skewed picture of the rotatey gif logo. What you have now looks great. Also, abandoning an image is not the same as putting it up for deletion, so you don't need to worry about that. 02:46, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

When reverting edits...
Hi there.  I've noticed that when you've been reverting other people's edits, you don't put down any reasons as to why you're reverting the changes.  You should put an edit reason when you're undoing another person's edit to help that person understand why their edit was undone.  Otherwise you could find your reverts reverted.

For vandals and spammers though, you don't have to do anything except continue what Knights had suggested above when you asked on what to do with vandals.  I hope you found this helpful. =) — Ngamer01 18:19, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

The email in question was neither spam nor fake, which I meant to put in the page deletion description but accidentally hit "Enter" while trying to write the deletion description. It was a fair delete - the user "Jexx" doesn't exist - but just sayin'. -- 21:17, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Using Show Preview

Hello What-eez-it-stwong-bayad, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031*Talk 18:44, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Just a little reminder. — Defender1031*Talk 20:46, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry about that I was exited and forgot to check my edits. Tenerence Love  22:01, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Creating pages

Hey Tenerence, I noticed that for the first two pages you created, you created them as a subpage in your user space, then created a separate page in the mainspace. You don't have to do that. You can just create the page in its final destination. Or, if you would like, you can create the page in your user space, then move that page to its final destination, but it's generally discouraged per our standards to create two separate pages that have the same content. I also noticed that you originally created your second page as "my-other-soon-to-be-page". Your first page appears to be successful thus far, so "my-soon-to-be-page" isn't really an accurate title anymore. So, good work. What you could have done is remove the content of "my-soon-to-be-page" and put what you put in "my-other-soon-to-be-page" in its place rather than creating another user subpage. Is there a reason you created the pages like this? The Knights Who Say Ni 04:59, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Um... guess it's just poor planning on my part. Now that I think about it I could have used the sandbox. I used those pages as kind of a "rough draft". Feel free to delete them. Tenerence Love 02:24, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Vandals

What should I do next time there is a vandal? I was getting tired of reverting those edits. Tenerence Love  20:31, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Actually, you did great. There is one more thing you can do, which is to notify an admin that a vandal is attacking. As I understand it, they can often be found in the IRC. Whether or not you do that, the first admin who sees it will block the vandal. I know how tiring it can be, but it's worth it because you're keeping the wiki running smoothly. Thanks for your efforts. The Knights Who Say Ni 23:18, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit] My Picture

I can't seem to load my "Rotating Computer Graphic" at the bottom of my page unless I click it to view the information. How do I fix that? I cleared my cookies, cache, and history. I've tried Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Tenerence Love  16:39, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

It seems the wiki's image resizing algorithm has some problem with gifs. If you try viewing the generated thumbnail directly it tells you the file has errors. I manually set the size to the same as the actual image you uploaded so that it won't need to resize it. — Defender1031*Talk 18:47, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks DeFender! Tenerence Love  18:50, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Unsigned Talk Posts

How do you sign sign talk posts for other people? I mean like:

Have you ever considered the making and selling of tiny breads? 70.87.89.90 (left unsigned) 00:47, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm just curious. I was browsing around the wiki and found many talk pages where people left their posts unsigned. And also, should I sign posts for people even though the post is old? Tenerence Love  00:47, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

There is a template, located at Username. The use of this template is not very widely enforced. My opinion is that adding the signatures just to add them would barely be productive, and it would flood the recent changes list. That said, I can't tell you not to use the template. You can use it if you would like; there are certainly situations where having the timestamps would be helpful. If you're sold on adding the signatures, I would suggest using it if there is one on a page that you are adding a talk post to. The Knights Who Say Ni 02:11, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
If you are going to use it though, please make sure that you use the correct timestamp, meaning, find the actual edit where the user made the talk post, and copy the timestamp from that edit. — Defender1031*Talk 09:34, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Actually pretty hard-to-read message board sign

Hey Tenerence; I liked that signature board you came up with. It's too bad you can't use it. However, if you want to display it on your user page in whatever way you want, feel free. I notice you aren't using the rotatey gif right now; would you consider abandoning it in favor of the message board sign? Do whatever you feel like doing. The Knights Who Say Ni 04:44, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
