ok here’s the deal; I was an 11 year old kid when that email came out. I had sent like several dozen emails to strong bad by that point but I can’t remember a single one to save my life. it never occurred to me to screenshot my sent emails or save them in any way because, as mentioned previously, I was a dumb 11 year old. also aol had basically no archiving so even as far back as 2008 I remember being unable to find this sent email. so now I’m getting anxious like, “oh god what if I didn’t send that email, what if I erroneously claimed that email as mine, what if I’ve been living a lie for 15 years???” so here’s my case:
For:
- I am a dylan and I am from texas
- my last name is not bragers BUT I specifically never used my real last name on my emails because my dad told me never tell anyone your last name on the internet, and bragers seems like the sort of thing I wouldve made up
- the email came out during the time when I was sending tons of emails
Against:
- I have no proof other than my 11 year old self attributing it to me. not that I wouldve lied about it but I couldve easily jumped the gun without thinking “wait did I actually send this?”
so all this to say, I think I sent it but I’m only like 80% sure. if I didn’t actually send it, then I’m sorry to the real dylan bragers. I’m sorry for stealing all your fame and glory while you rotted in the gutter. I hope youll accept this olive branch as a token of “please don’t come to my house & stab me to death in an act of revenge”. actually, I think I did send the email. it was all me, baby. I tell this to hot girls on tinder and needless to say it wins their hearts every time.
PS: editing this wiki crap is really annoying on an iphone. if you had told me back in 2005 that in the future I’d be able to edit the homestar wiki on my cell phone I wouldnt have believed you. what a time to be alive -- nachobra 00:04, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
