User page: production update!

I've made a new caption contest on my user page. Check it out if you want! Seriously (Talk) 00:49, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Battle Template

I don't really think the HRWiki needs a battle template if it is only going to be on one page. You can, however, use the code from the Wikipedia battle template and paste it on the page. Has Matt? (talk) 23:21, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
that's what i tried the first time. what else could i do? -sbdient

Congraturations

About five minutes after you made your caption, I knew you would be the winner. I do a new one every day, so look forward to several more wins. Thanks for joining. Seriously (Talk) 23:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the congradurations! I just had to enter. I love caption contests. The rest of them were funny too! Has Matt? (talk) 23:23, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
I have to tell you, ookeylaylay almost beat you. I just thought that yours was so much like homestr, it was scary.....Seriously (Talk) 23:26, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Dude, I made an Archive of the captions recently. Can you put your sig there? Seriously (Talk) 00:27, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

User page

What did you do to your user page! --TheThin 00:06, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted to see how many people would notice. Apparently, you're the first one. Don't worry, I'm not leaving or nothing, I'm just fooling around. I'll revert it soon. Has Matt? (talk) 00:07, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
DOS was an old, ummm, way to compute, and no one likes it anymore. It was used for things like BASIC, and it is a text based way to cumpute. For example: MSDOS can compute things kinda. Can I have a MUFFIN? Or a congratulation? Bluebry 03:37, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
While you are correct about DOS, that is not the answer I was looking for. Keep thinking. I'm sure someone in this Wiki knows it. In the meantime, you get half a pancake. Has Matt? (talk) 03:40, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
It was also on a Simpsons episode. Bluebry 03:42, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Or do you mean a reference to Dick and Jane? (And yeah, DOS takes me back. I didn't actually have a computer in my house until 95 or so, but a few years before that I had some hacker-type friends, and marvelled at the way they made those black screens bring up those high-end, graphics-rich games like Lemmings. Me, I preferred to use the Windows systems at Radio Shack to play Minesweeper. —AbdiViklas 03:43, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Yep. It wAS on The Comic Book Guys shirt. Bluebry 03:45, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
I was thinking of the book Go, Dog. Go! Trey56 03:47, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Bluebry and Abdi are both right. It is a reference to the Comic Book Guy's shirt, which is in turn a reference to Dick and Jane. And all of this data could only bring us to one conclusion: The Simpsons is awesome. Has Matt? (talk) 12:38, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

New page

I know I tell you this every time I make a new page, but uh, yeah. Bluebry 00:56, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

WHOA! That's freakin' awesome! You deserve a pizza for that page. This gives me one more reason to want the DVD so badly. Anyways, keep on Wiki-ing! Has Matt? (talk) 01:19, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

Oh, and by the way. Do you know Seriously in real life, or did you just like his sig and copy it? Not that cpoying his sig seems bad to me or anything, but you might want to have permission before doing that, or at least modify it a little more. Has Matt? (talk) 03:19, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
No, I don't know him. Good idea, I'll go ask. With crap, Yeltensic (T C) 04:26, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Late

Meep meep meedle-mee meep! (Congratulations!)

I know this is late, but congratulations for getting my Latin quotes right! I've decided to award a The Cheat-Bot to all winners. So, keep it up! LePorello / T / C 22:04, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

w00t! Thanks a lot, man. Oh, and good job with the Brothers' Strong Bathroom page! I forgot that it was also in Experimental Film. I haven't been able to come on the Wiki much latley because of the crapload of homework I just finished at 7:30 AM. I hope I won't have to go the way of Bubsty and Homestramy... but I don't think I'll have any larger projects for a while, so I'm safe for now. Meedley-meep mee-dee meep meep! (See you later!) Has Matt? (talk) 13:51, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Well, I only started the page, but thanks anyways! And going with Benol's question below, how old are you and how do you know so much Latin? You've gotten the most so far and you're younger than me! Meedle-eep dee meep! (Keep it up!) LePorello / T / C 19:19, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and I also love your rock opera! I was planning to work on a SBEMAIL! Verse 2, but I couldn't finish it. (In fact, I only got one word; "only" from best thing, the email after r.o.) If possible, could you help me? LePorello / T / C 19:48, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

Under 13?

In your userbox it says that you are under 13. When I read that, I was like Woah. I thought you were at least, like, fifteen or something. How old are you? I'm 13 and still tranglin'.-- Benol, aka Coach B 19:10, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

You are obviously the smartest preteen I have ever met if you are indeed under thirteen. Seriously (Talk) 02:25, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Yes!!!

The answer to the impossible question is 3001. You love sci-fi, don't you? Seriously (Talk) 02:22, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

And if this answers the question any better, the number sequence is the 2001: a space odyssey collection of books. Seriously (Talk) 02:24, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Sweet. I'm a cool person. You're going to have to come up with a harder question than that if you don't want me to win every time. Seriously (Talk) 02:40, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

HELP!

I need help here I was user I LOVE to troll but I havn't trolled in a year. Please get rid of vandalizm and don't read anything it says! --TheThin 16:13, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

What is that wiki about, anyway? I've always wondered that. Secondly (as if there was a firstly), it looks like you've got everything covered and don't really need any help at this point. Thirdly, how did you find that wiki, why did you start trolling it, and why are you now working so hard to revert it? I'll help if I can find anything left to help with, but I don't think there's much more I can do. Has Matt? (talk) 16:24, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
The problem is, The thing, is that with your hard work reverting it, we don't need to help you. Also, while Has Matt is right about the blocking situation, you still trolled. It's up to Dot com, but I still think that per protocol you should get blocked. — Seriously (Talk) 22:18, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Oh, just random typing that mocks AOLese. For example, "I AM Teh 1337! PH34R MeH! !111Eleven13oneone11!!1shift+uno=42" That sorta thing. Has Matt? (talk) 17:09, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

When to STUFF

You don't have to STUFF something that's a major stretch just to decline it. If someone wants to stand up for it, let them be the one to STUFF it. — It's dot com 20:58, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

However, there is the chance the person would stubbornly keep putting it up. STUFF is one way of preventing that sort of tension, I suppose. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:03, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
EDIT CONFLICT: Qermaq's pretty much right. The reason I STUFFed it was not just to decline it. At least two people thought it wasn't a major stretch (Alcnolien and Seriously), and I didn't want to get into a revert war with them, plus even I wasn't entirely sure of it being a "major stretch" or not. If you want to remove the fact from STUFF, that's fine with me. Has Matt? (talk) 21:05, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
No, I agree with both of you that avoiding a revert war is a good thing, so the vote will stay. The only reason I even brought it up is that I was edit-conflicted with you as I tried to delete it, and because I have a million dollars bill that I would bet that I could correctly guess the outcome of the vote. :) — It's dot com 21:09, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Whoa, I didn't notice that. Thanks for the compliment. I think that those news articles are some of the funniest things on the website. Has Matt? (talk) 23:14, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that. The user made a user page that was not capitalized like the username, and I clicked on the discussion link for that page. You welcomed him on the right page, so the welcome really belongs to you. Has Matt? (talk) 23:26, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Wehlllllll, your page "has" just over 100 views and your talk "has" almost 10,000. That's just wrong. LePorello / T / C 18:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

little... asterisk... thing

So what does it do? I didn't see any change from it. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 17:26, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

It changes the page's listing in the category so that is is under an asterisk instead of the normal alphabetical listing. It's kinda hard for me to explain, but it's used for organization. For example, in Powered By The Cheat, Powered By The Cheat would be listed under an asterisk instead of "T", because it's a sort of hub for all the PBTC pages. Sorry if I'm not making any sense here. Has Matt? (talk) 17:36, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

How do you upload images that good?

Hey, Has Matt?, how do you and everyone else here upload images with that excellent quality? 65.6.12.248 20:03, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply. There was a big storm and lightning struck and the Internet went down and... well, you get the idea. To upload images, press the key on the top right corner of the computer that reads "Print Screen" when you want to capture the image. If you have a Mac it may be different, though. I don't know about Macs. Then, go into Microsoft Paint or any other similar program (like Photoshop) and paste the image. Then you can use the different tools in the toolbox to crop the image and do other stuff with it. Then save the image as a PNG (there are some exceptions to this rule, see HRWiki:Image use policy for details). Go to HRWiki and click the link on the left side of the screen reading "Upload file". Just follow the instructions there and you should be fine. Ask me or anyone else here if there's something that needs more explaining. Has Matt? (talk) 23:27, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm not sure of the rules from computer to computer, but for me anyways I have to press alt+print screen in order to copy the image. Thunderbird 23:47, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

How do I dispute a fun fact/trivia/somethin'somethin' ?
