Hey there, Gnome of Fury. Just wanted to mention that I removed some information from your user page in accordance with the [[HRWiki:Youth protection|Youth Protection]] policy we have in place for users under 13 years of age. Sorry about that, and thanks for understanding. {{User:Trey56/sig}} 07:10, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to The Homestar Runner Wiki!

Hi there! Welcome to the The Homestar Runner Wiki! As I'm sure you've already noticed, this is the best place to learn about anything and everything Homestar Runner. Glad to have you as a member! There are a couple of things you should read up on before you really start jumping in and editing -

  • If you're confused on how this whole wiki thing works, take a look at our HelpDesk.
  • Take a look at the Wiki Standards and the Manual of Style to see how things work around here.
  • Read the FAQ.
  • Check out the MediaWiki User's Guide.
  • If you're looking for more interaction with the users, we have a Chat Channel and a Wiki Forum. If the Chat Channel isn't working for you, you're not alone. Read up on WikiChat Troubleshooting for help.
    • We also have a Fanstuff Wiki if you like fanfiction, comics, and other fan-made material.
  • If you're looking for something to do, head on over to The Stick.
  • And remember- be bold! Don't be afraid to edit a page or start something new. If you make a mistake, don't worry about it! Someone will come along and fix it eventually.

If you have still have any questions, you can ask your question on the FAQ talk page or any of the sysops and admins. I'm sure you'll catch on quickly (most do), and again- don't be afraid to edit! Also, feel free to delete this message when you're done reading it (it is your User page). I hope you stick around! Have fun! —FireBird|Talk, The Homestar Runner Wiki Welcoming Committee

Actually, I've been lurking around the wiki for a while... you may also call me The Snork (The Sneak in Coach Z) or 69.171.44.42. As you may be able to tell by my username, I'm too lazy to be anything other than a HRWiki:WikiGnome (could you fix that link?) (Fixed. -Thunderbird). I want to get a really cool user page, like with a bunch of awesome stuff... You know what I mean. Really cool user page. Do you have any tips on HTML and whatnot? BTW, I'm already on Wikipedia, under the same username, just in case you were wondering. I actually visit the wiki more than the wedsite... In case you were wondering, no, I can't stay on the same topic for more than a couple sentences. Which is why I correct grammar. Anyway, haldo, and I hope to be an important-type part of the wiki. Gnome o' Fury (Also known as The Snork) 21:24, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Signature Color

Hmm... It seems as though your signature:

Gnome o' Fury

Is only colored greenish-brown on your userpage, where it isn't a link (Links don't link to themselves). It may just be my computer. Does that signature look greenish-brown to anyone? If not, you may want to look into that. Thunderbird 22:20, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

I intended mine to be olive green, so there is definitely something wrong here. Gnome o' Fury 22:21, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Haha, sorry. My brain is always mixing up grey with brown. Stupid brain. :) I fixed my above comment. Thunderbird 22:23, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
On your page, the text is olive green. But on this page, the text is normal link color. Hmm... teeeffoh! 22:25, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Thats because it doesn't link on userpage. At the main location (User:Gnome of Fury/sig) it's also blue. But the code looks pretty good. I'll see what I can do. Thunderbird 22:26, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Gaah! Two edit conflicts? Whatever, good luck, T-bird. Gnome o' Fury 22:29, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Hey, you fixed it. Never mind. Thanks. Gnome o' Fury 22:29, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
EDIT CONFLICT: There you go. The code just needed to be moved within the link. All fixed. (I also added a code to make the underline the same color, and I abbreviated the color name (666600 = 660). Now that that's out of the way, you can start on your userpage if you want. Thunderbird 22:31, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Oops. 'M srry, that was probably me. You're signature, with the color and stuff, is very similar to mine, and, well, just tryin' to help out here. teeeffoh! 22:32, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] If you can tell me how to create a kick-awesome signature, please do so below this line.

Try here. Thunderbird 21:29, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, to change the word color you type in <font color=Whatever color you want>What you want to say here.</font>TheThin 21:31, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Also, we've been working on implementing rules pertaining to signatures. These proposed standards, which will likely be fully implemented in the next day or so, are here. Thunderbird 21:33, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

There, that should work. I switched your signature to just one line (including code), that might have been the problem. Also be sure to put a space after your last comment and the tildes. Thunderbird 22:07, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
EDIT: The signature standards were just implemented, and moved to HRWiki:Signature. Thunderbird 22:13, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Hey there, Gnome of Fury. Just wanted to mention that I removed some information from your user page in accordance with the Youth Protection policy we have in place for users under 13 years of age. Sorry about that, and thanks for understanding. Trey56 07:10, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
