Hello

Hi, Fangoriously, welcome to the Homestar Runner Wiki. It's a wonderful idea to do cleanup like you did here, here, and here, but adding onomatopoeia's like you did here isn't really helpful, because here, we like to leave out those kind of things. So, keep up the good work, and welcome once again! MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 05:37, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm aiming to be a big level person, and I'm using the sbemails as a start! --Fangoriously 05:41, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
If you want talk page posts to be indented like this, put a : before your comment, and it'll indent it. Make sure you add as many of : as it takes to make it be aligned correctly. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 05:43, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
My mission is to clean up all the pages, starting with the sbemails. --Fangoriously 20:32, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Blockquote Classes

Hi there, I'm curious why you've been removing the computer name from the classes of blockquotes. If i recall correctly, them things are important. Would you mind enlightening me? — Defender1031*Talk 20:54, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Compy emails and Lappy emails blockquotes look the same, except for the Lappy having a subject line, but only when you give one. --Fangoriously 21:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
It's still probably a good idea to have it, you don't know what special stuff might be going on behind the scenes... — Defender1031*Talk 21:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, nothing special's going on behind the scenes yet, but having the computer name in the blockquotes means it'd be easy enough to add something behind the scenes in the future, if we ever want to. --phlip TC 21:20, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Why am I capable

Why am I capable of uploading files and moving pages?

Because you're a user. I am too. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 02:22, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
But the upload page has said it was limited to users that were autoconfirmed (?), sysops, or bots! And I know that new accounts can't move stuff! --Fangoriously 02:23, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Autoconfirmed means that the server has confirmed you as a user. It takes a few days. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 02:25, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Your Test

Please see the Help:Editing page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our resource. Thanks. — Defender1031*Talk 01:47, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Sysops

Hey there Fangoriously! What's up? I couldn't help but notice that you seem to have an admirable desire to become a sysop. Just to let you know, edits like this probably aren't going to get you anywhere. I suggest you read these helpful tips, and just keep doing your part to make this encyclopedia even more vast and extensive. Edits like this and this are a great start, keep up the good work! —Guard Duck talk 19:29, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I should point out at this point that very few wiki users are ever given sysop status. At the time of typing, there are only 26 sysops on this wiki and this number will only increase every few years or so. To be honest though, the only real differences between a regular editor, like you or me, and a sysop are that a sysop can protect and delete pages and block and unblock users. You can see the problems that would occur if everyone was allowed to be a sysop! However, if you continue to make good edits like the ones above, you will become a well-respected and highly trusted contibutor. Who knows, maybe in a few years when it's time to nominate new sysops, you'll be considered! – The Chort 19:44, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Nice Userpage

I like your Virus'd virus userpage. That's really cool.-Record307 Talk/Contribs 20:41, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! As well as randomly inserting gibberish in sections, I made some other changes, like changing "transcript" to "tandyscript", and Strong Bad using a program called "Homsar the Virus Hunter" to find "MORE THAN ONE" virus. --Fangoriously! Chat 23:51, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Another note: I got the idea for my cool userpage from a comment on virus's talk page. It said to make that page look virus'd, but it was rejected because this is a knowledge base. --Fangoriously! Chat 23:54, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
