Excardon me, Ethel
Hey, E.L.! I never thanked you properly for that cool thing you did on my talk page, but here it is: thanks, man, you rule. ^_^ Well, I'm just as anxious as anyone else for the Decemberween cartoon, and until then, we're all counting down that magical time. - Congratulations man. I've had a bank account over here since I was around 9. I don't think there is a legal age for that here. But you can't get a credit card until you're 19. In any case, congratulations on hitting the big one-eight. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 19:38, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sweet, sweet E.L Cool,
- Today is the day on your user page.
- Now, get downstairs—unh!
- And fix me some supper.

- 18, eh? I was that once... It seems to be a much bigger deal over there, I guess. It's been no different for me since, like, my 15th birthday or so. --DorianGray

- Oh, and hearing all you guys makes me feel so old. I'm past all my landmark birthdays. (Well, I guess 25 is the quarter-of-a-century, and that's coming in May. Then there's 30, which is when everyone really realizes that you're an adult. But those don't count for as much as 18 and 21 etc.) Heimstern Läufer
21:05, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- I heard that it gets alot easier to rent a car after age 25, but that could just be a rumor. Next bonus-for-your-age after that is the senior's discount. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 21:10, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- I guess birthdays mean different things to different people... 18 wasn't a big deal for me... And I don't see 21 being any different. --DorianGray
- 21 didn't actually matter that much to me either, since I don't drink. 18 was important since it meant I could vote. And, Thunderbird, you're right; it is easier to rent a car when you're 25, especially if you want to avoid hefty fees. As for waiting for the senior discount... well, 40 more years isn't that long! Wow! Thanks you guys. that's so sweet of you. I know my B-day party is only one week away, but I celebrated it anyway with two chicks and two bottels of wine. Two Keyboards?
To type in Hebrew and English, do you need two keyboards, or do you have a special En/He Keyboard?--
Benol, aka Coach B 00:00, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I have an English/Hebrew keyboard. The keys look like this and I switch the langueges by pressing Alt+Shift. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 01:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

- My sister and brother in law (the ones I'm housesitting for right now) are learning russian, and their keyboard has a similar design (only a russian version). It's a snazy sticker system. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 06:35, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Wait a second, come to think of it... Alt + Shift, eh? ;)
- ЧПµЙ·хнП· БµПн µп·ПлЭЩ БчµБ· ГчГµ Сµп» µлПлх чСµБзГ·С µпС»ПЙню (Btw, I don't really know much russian at all, so that's all gibberish).
- My brother-in-law does have random russian words printed on paper hung around his house though, with an english translation and an appropriate picture, as a learning aid. So I can tell you that ПpeHeбpeжeHИЯ means "neglect". They used a picture of Li'l Brudder to illustrate that one. :) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 06:45, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sweet. This one I only seen in our school, for some reason: English-Hebrew-Arabic. And yes, all three languages are printed on the keyboard! — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 08:18, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Awsome Users
PUT ME ON YOUR AWSOME USERS LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TheThingé 23:53, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ok. First of all, chill. No need to shout and type multiple numbers of exclamation marks for the purpose of wishing for a name to be included in a list. I'm sure that every user including you is awesome in his or hers own special way and for some reason should be included in this list, but as you can see, only a few did get to be listed. Why, do you ask yourself? Why they and not me? Well, first look at the sheer number of contributions each user have on this great wiki of ours. Second, look again at the list. Besides each name there is a reason for why I added it. May it be for the helping hand that they have given me times and times again, or may it be for a more personal reason non other that they are my friends. For this I'm sorry, The Thing, but at this point of time you a fit in neither category. If I was to add you to the list, what can I write beside your name? "The Thing - HE ASKED ME TO BE ON THIS LIST!!!!!!"? This is not proper. As Old Mr. Bubs once said: "They're free. But you gotta earn 'em!". — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:31, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- I just don't like guestbooks. They make the page longer to load, they are a fad and usless. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:18, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Have fun. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:20, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- He could, but he didn't. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:03, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Now he did. Sub-page'd guestbooks are way better than bottom of the page. You have to actually read the userpage to find it, and it's less cluttersome. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 21:43, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Unless you are collecting sigs (something that I should be doing, if you know what I mean), guestbooks are still useless. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:09, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- For me to put you on my list? No. You got to help the wiki, not your userpage. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:45, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- Ouch, The Thing blocked you for three days. You must be crushed. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:49, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

- Cool poem, El Coolio. But I don't think "Wiki" rhymes with "See". At least not the way I pronounce it. (Wick-E vs. Wee-Kee) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 04:42, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I'm sorry Mr. "I live in acountry that have 5 vawels that produce 5 different sounds but when you add two together you can have 25 formations of the same frickin' sounds, but slightly different that anyone not living it your country can't even tell the difference", I'm not from your country! — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:59, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- I know. English is stupid. I didn't come up with it. One of my biggest pet peeves: Jennifer and General are pretty much the same sound at the beginning, so WHY THE DIFFERENT LETTER?!?!?!? And howcomes "Q" always needs a "U" behind it? Why didn't they just create a "QU" letter? Yeah, the "Most common language of the world" should have been better thought up. It's full of problems. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 05:05, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- I don't have problems with letters with the same sound. And for that other thing. I just have problems with all your made-up sounds. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:08, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'd like to point out that "wee-kee" is more-or-less the proper pronounciation, as it comes from the Hawaiian word wikiwiki, which mean "quick". "Wee-kee" is how it'd be pronounced in Hawaiian. See also: Wikipedia:Wiki --DorianGray
- I'd like to point out the superiority of German over English in that it makes perfect sense from a phonetic perspective. None of that "rough, cough, through, though" crap. Heimstern Läufer
