Hi, DevonM.  I just wanted to point out that while there is a {{t|transcriptinprogress}} notice on an article, it is generally bad form to edit the transcript.  As the template itself states: "Please do not edit this section unless absolutely necessary."  The reason for this is that it can create edit conflicts that can be very frustrating.  Chau.  {{User:OptimisticFool/sig}} 06:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

3D Character Variations

Thanks devon. I didnt have the time for creating the 3d page. Physicsguymonsterman 15:26, 12 April 2008 (UTC) No probalo. I'm still workin' on figuring out the other 3D variations, too. DevonM 15:28, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Great job with the pix. I put Homestar and stro bro's on their pages but i have no time to do the rest hint hint. Physicsguymonsterman 11:25, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Done. And thank you. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs)

Why come you got rid of my vector stro bro in game? Physicsguymonsterman 11:49, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

The one that actually looked sort of 3D I kept. The other one was just lines. As far as I know, that's 1 dimensional. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 19:51, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcoming

Hey, I saw a fairly old welcome from you to another user a bit ago. Just so you're aware, and maybe you already are, we generally don't use the canned welcome template anymore, as all new users get the automatic "First Time Here?" welcome with all the links and whatnot. If you haven't already, take a peek at the welcoming page. Crapfully yours, Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:34, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh! Sorry, I didn't know the wiki automatically did that...is that a new feature? DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 01:42, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Relatively. It's been a while. Almost a year. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 01:49, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Fanstuff

Are you still around on the Fanstuff Wiki? User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 18:53, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Uh, he posted on his page that he left. JCM 19:00, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Speculation

Your edit (here), while reverted for another reason entirely, was actually completely false. In the Flash file, the elements that make up the designs on Homestar's shirts are clearly visible. And there are time-unlimited trial versions of Flash decompilers out there which (besides being kind of fun) can serve to prevent assumptions like this getting added to the wiki. Give one a try, I think you'll like it. OptimisticFool 03:47, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Oops...sorry. I thought because the Fila logo was the only thing that would normally be blurred on TV, or something, that it wasn't actually in the .fla file. Regarding the .swf decompiler, Flash (for one reason or another) won't download on my computer, no matter what. This prevents .swf decompilers (I use to have a couple of free-trial decompilers, but they all expired within 30 days) from even opening post-installation. As for speculation, I'll try to keep that down, or at least post something on the article's talk page concerning it. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 03:52, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Help With Layout of DevonM

Okay, I know I'm really not supposed to ask people for help on my user talk page, but I need help. BAD. My site's lookin' waaaaay to much like H*Runner right now. This is more of a personal question, but I need someone to request some features I can add to make it...less...H*R. And more D*M! Wait — I mean more DevonM! I meant DevonM! DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 20:25, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I went and looked at it, and you seem to be following the H*R formula with the whole scope of your site. If you can change the layout so it looks more "you" (granted, I don't know you very well), that would help a lot. You could make an interactive main page or call the links different things, possibly dispense with the intro (even though it's fine, it's very Homestar), and either only reference H*R a little bit or not at all. Putting up a toon or two would get you to know what your site is really about, so you can give it a distinct vibe. Otherwise, very nice website. I hope you do well with it! -Brightstar Shiner 21:10, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! I just went on a lil' skateboard ride to separate my thoughts, and figured out some ideas. But thanks again. I will probably delete the main page, but maybe not the intro. That took around 30 hours (like, 2 days where I had nothing better to do) to complete. And its also been a goal since I started redesigning the website in late March that there will be some scattered H*R references (and a few Wikipedia references, too), but not enough to force the site into a state of parody-ism. The site's gonna need some major clown care. I hope to have it fully redesigned (again |:( ) within a month or so. Thanks again, DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 00:32, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
No probalo. And when you've redesigned your site and have some toons on there, I'd love to check it out! -Brightstar Shiner 02:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
