That binary number "decodes" to 1645837486586711895392716183230053797531666205206517870577656163276290201856785144042604491325534152752900504746588679796852822425996374607370586596643710. However I'm assuming you meant "Binary 8-bit ASCII," in which case it decodes to "Pretty Bird May fly in the Wind. Nature can take it's[sic] own corse[sic]". BTW: Hooray for Python and its builtin bignums, which I used to get that excessively-long decimal number. --phlip TC 22:02, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

The current one decodes to "Umm... so this is another part where it's just me.". You owe me a cake! And to think, i did all that with an excel spreadsheet (to get the decimal number) and the ASCII article. I need more to do in my free time... DumbMuscle 23:11, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

{Day 1} We arive in Hawaii at about 3:00AM (0:00 Body Time) at a little open-air airport on the west coast of the big island. We travel on the rent-a-something bus and when we get there we are greeted with very long lines. When we finally get the car, it is too small for our luggage so we go through the line again and we get a mini-van that's just right OK. After we get to the hotel we find out that there was a concert for a really good band...and we miss it. So off we go up to the comfy hotel rooms as we get ready for tommorow.

E=Mc2

An equation derived by the twentieth-century physicist Albert Einstein, in which E represents units of energy, M represents units of mass, and c2 is the speed of light squared, or multiplied by itself. In other words, energy equals mass times the speed of light squared. Thunderbird 15:33, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Now explain what Energy=Mass x The Speed of Light2 means --Dacheatbot · Communicate 15:36, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Ummm... I'm gonna go... Place. Thunderbird 15:37, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
In any reaction where energy is absorbed/released, including chemical reactions but most noticable in nuclear reactions (because there's more energy involved at a smaller mass), the mass of the reactants changes. The difference in the mass of the reactants, times c² is the energy released or absorbed - if the reactants get lighter the energy is released, and vice-versa. --phlip TC 15:54, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

So did I. I got a 25.something%, total geek. I thought I would get a better(?) score than that because I'm into most of that kind of stuff, but I don't do anything extremely geeky, like program code or something like that. Maybe I lost a ton because I'm just a kid and my opportunity for some questions has not come yet. Hmm....I enjoyed too. Thanks! -Brightstar Shiner 03:08, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Idea

You know, you asked about ideas for your User page. I peeked at your contributions and saw that you've made less than 100 edits to the main articles (which is not a bad thing in any way) but you've made over 250 edits to your user page, sig and other stuff. My idea is to keep it simple and don't spend too much time on it, saving time for what we're really here for, which is documenting the H*R cartoons. Just an idea. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:41, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Oh.... Ok..... (feels shame in the corner) --Dacheatbot · Communicate 19:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
No no no. My intention was never to shame you. Just pointing out that, while there are a lot of users who NEVER make main namespace edits, you're not one of those. Frankly, I think we need more users who can do good main namespace editing and (yep, I'll say it) less of the HRWiki-is-MySpace type users. You're capable of being in either camp, based on what I've seen from you. I'd like you in the "good main namespace editor" camp, personally. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:48, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I know i say this a lot, but I can't find anything to do --Dacheatbot · Communicate 19:52, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I hear ya. Most of my edits lately have been reverts and helpful talk posts on article talks and occassional user talks. It's slow. Hopefully tomorrow there'll be a new email and there'll be plenty to do. When I was new here, I'd just watch Recent Changes when a new toon came out to see the variety of activities that took place as a result. You might peek at the contributions list of some users you respect and see what they've been up to lately. It might give you some ideas.
Oh, and I'd like to clarify something that my previous post doesn't say well enough. I don't think there's anything wrong with a cool-looking user page (look at mine, for example) and with a small amount of chatter on user talk pages. But it's when a user is doing nothing or little but that, that's when I question why that user is here. You, though, do a lot of main namespace editing and that's why I don't count you among those users.
So don't read what I wrote as "I dislike users with flashy user pages and who talk on user talks" - rather, I question the relevance to this wiki of the actions of users who do nothing but that. I think you know the type of user I'm describing. Well, any chance I get to suggest a user get into more main namespace editing (and "all opinions are welcome" was an open door!) I'm going to use it. Like I said, that's exactly the kind of user I think we need more of. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:26, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
