One way is to sign your name with the template {{User:Lapper/autosig|Bassium!}}, or simply copying the code from the template into your own signature page. Sorry 'bout reverting you. It's just, if an IP signs as a user with the users sig, then people may think the IP is impersonating that person. You don't HAVE to sign in to edit these pages (as you may know) but you do have to sign in to, um, sign as you. Ah, the image. That's to stop bots from editing anonymously, possibly screwing up the wiki very fast. But yeah, it's to tell if you're human or not. (I think...) Bluebry 16:37, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
