More Precise Dates

While looking at the supposed release dates on the earlier toons and features, I noticed how WAY off the dates are. With that in mind, I've decided to create a list of more precise release dates for the toons and post it on this talk page.

To start off, I researched a little bit, and found that the The King of Town DVD, In Search of the Yello Dello DVD, and Main Page 11 were all released on the same day between Monday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 8th of 2001. How did I find this out? I went to an archive of the site of the earliest recorded interview regarding Homestar Runner, wtfiml33t. During this interview, Mike mentions that The King of Town DVD, In Search of the Yello Dello DVD, and Main Page 11 would be released on the same day in the week following the interview. After a few minutes of looking around the website, I found that the date of the interview was Saturday, June 30th, 2001. Based on this, the following week would have been July 2nd, 2001 and July 8th, 2001.

Next, I did a little more research, and found that The Reddest Radish was released on Saturday, April 15th, 2000. How did I find this one out? First, I looked at the wallpaper of the Homestar Runner evolution, where it shows the design of Homestar first seen in The Reddest Radish, dated April of 2000. To look for the precise date, I checked out some of the downloads, one of them showing many icons from The Reddest Radish, last modified April 15th, 2000. Based on this information, I can say without a doubt in my mind that The Reddest Radish was released on Saturday, April 15th, 2000.

This one didn't take much research, but I found that the Theme Song Video was released on Thursday, May 11th, 2000. This date may seem familiar, as it's the earliest date of the website on the Wayback Machine. However, I didn't use the Wayback Machine to find this out. Again, on one of the downloads, the entire theme was posted, the last modified date being May 11th, 2000.

Again, this didn't take too much research, but I found that A Jumping Jack Contest was released on Thursday, April 27, 2000. I found a few downloads relating to the toon, last modified April 27th, 2000.

I'll post some more precise dates at a later... date?
