if anyone wonders why i talk mean to trendy totebag and talk about blocking him, it's cause he is from my school. i persued him to go on this website. Seriously 00:46, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

is my reputation killed?

because of my previous trolling and skirmish with ciberdude, i don't think i am very respected by fellow wikiers. apart from trendy totebag, does anyone think my reputation will ever be repaired? Seriously 04:44, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

Reputations can ALWAYS be repaired. I mean, Thunderbird was a troll, wasn't he? Look what happened to him: now he's a sysop. There's always hope. --DorianGray

yes, but he just deleted some stuff on peasant's quest. i made personal attacks to a user. Seriously 04:53, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

There's an old adage I'm reminded of: forgive and forget. What happened in the past is in the past. Focus on the future, and you're sure to become a fairly respected user. --DorianGray

Wiki Standards

Hi there Seriously. I advise that you review the HRWiki:Standards and the MediaWiki User's Guide before you create any more articles. -- Tom 21:24, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

yeah, thanks for the redirect. i won't create any more pages. Seriously 21:24, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

You want to be a Cool Person?

Here's the deal. You really need to stand out in order to make it to my list. But in a positive way. I've noticed that you have been a troller in the past and that's not a good way to go (see BANNED FOR LIFE list). Trendy T. is a good kid and I'm glad he recognized me as one of those who helped him. Most of the people on my list are people who helped me or appreciate me. However, one thing bugs me. In the words of Strong Bad, "What ever happened to capitalization? It used to be so cool." -Marth 99 21:47, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

yeah, i'm not trying to do what the thing did. i don't want that. i'm just kidding around, you know? oh, and thanks for fixing that link. i am so stupid. Seriously 21:52, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

Space. The Final Indent.

By the way, I noticed your edit here. Notice how it's got a gray box around it, and extends off the right edge of the page instead of having a line break? Both of those happen because your line started with a blank space (or more than one). It can be kind of annoying in longer comments because they just go "to the right and straight on til morning." If the spaces were because you were trying to indent your comment as you see folks doing in replies, use ":"s instead. Check it out:

Here's one!
Here's two!
Here's three! You get the drill! (click edit and take a look at the code to check 'em out.)AbdiViklas 09:17, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

It is my pleasure to inform you, User:Seriously, that you have won Trendy Totebag's first official Platypus Award! Trendy Totebag owes the fact that he is on hrwiki to you. Scincerely,

thanks a lot for the trophy. um, have you heard about User: Bubsty? it's a bit sad, isn't it? Seriously 01:51, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Warning

What part of "Do not edit the user page or the user talk page of Ciberdude444 ever again" did you not understand? Then I see you post this message: "this offending garbage before i alert a sysop." Before you alert a sysop? That is directly against what you were instructed to do. On top of that, I find that Trendy Totebag made this edit, which also is trolling. — It's dot com 02:01, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

look, sorry. i just felt alarmed. i wanted it to be over, and he does not realize that. trendy totebag had heard about my fight with ciberdude444, but he misunderstood, thinking that it had not been resolved. i did not pursuade him to do that edit. i promise. block me if you want. i deserve it more than trendy or ciber. Seriously 02:05, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
I will not be blocking you this time, but if my instructions are ignored again, I won't hesitate to do so. I have also warned Trendy Totebag and Ciberdude444, so there is no need for you to do so. I repeat: Leave each other alone. — It's dot com 06:21, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Hey! By the way, I left a comment on It's dot com's talk page. Although it was technically replying to M. Totebag, it would probably be relevant for you too. —AbdiViklas 21:46, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Me??? Cool???

Why do you think I am cool???-- Benol, aka Coach B 15:31, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

because you at least kinda welcomed me when i first came here by saying "make a user page, it's fun!" also i read your juser page and you seemed pretty cool. you don't always have to be cool to me in order to be on my cool people list. Seriously 15:33, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

sig

can anyone create me a sig? i never undertand the directions. if you need my password i could give it to you, just make it cool. note: these are the people i'd like most to help me: thunderbird, abdiviklas, its dot com, gnome o' fury, and teh frossty one. Seriously 20:06, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

I'm flattered that you'd ask me to help. First of all, though, I really, really would never give my password to anybody! (Besides which, no one would actually need it to make your sig. You'd have to go into "preferences" yourself, but that isn't too hard.) Secondly, I'm afraid I don't really have time. Somebody else might very well (maybe you could arange some kind of trade; you see stuff like that often, with users with drawing skills making pics for others in exchange for fanfics and so on), or better yet, take a shot at doing it yourself; I'll bet you'll find it easier than it looks. One other thing: some brand-new guidelines about what a sig should be have been posted at HRWiki:Signature. —AbdiViklas 20:13, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
the problem is, i still have no idea whatsoever. believe me, i have tried, and failed spectacularly. i really don't know what the crap i am doing. Seriously 20:17, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
How does this look for a sig base?

That OK? --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif
great, but could you make it a different color? it's fine as is, but if it was orange, that would be great. Seriously 20:32, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
also, when i did 4 tildes on my userpage, it just came out bolded. is that for a reason? Seriously 20:35, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
If you link to the same page you are currently on, the link will become bold. See: User talk:Seriously. —FireBird|Talk 20:37, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
SWEET!!! so, how do i get it in action? Seriously 20:48, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Start by clicking "edit" on this section; find the code Venusy left and copy it. Go to User:Seriously/sig, delete what's there already, and paste it. Finally, go to your Preferences, put "{{User:Username/sig}}" in the "Your nickname (for signatures)" box, and check the checkbox for "Raw signatures." Then just use ~~~~ as usual, except now it will leave a trail of day-glo customization! —AbdiViklas 20:58, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

thanks for my cool new sig, guys! Seriously (Talk) 22:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

I think I should probably explain the edit I made to your sig - firsly, <font color="blah"> is deprecated in favour of <span style="color:blah">. Next, one of the tags was <font font color="purple"> - the extra font was in the way. The <font> tag arround the bullet wasn't closed, and there was no space after the bullet (which made it look lopsided). Finally, I combined the color and the font face into one tag for the "other stuff" link (you can do that, and it simplifies matters). Just ask me if you have any questions... phlip TC 12:22, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

WikiTroll

Seriously, you're not really leaving Ciberdude alone as per Dot com's instructions if you address him in your edit summaries. Let other people deal with his WikiTroll edits. I assure you, we will. Heimstern Läufer 22:54, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

You were instructed not to reply to him, and to let the sysops handle it. You were given plenty of warnings, but instead you got into an edit war where you directly addressed Ciberdude444, which is exactly what you were instructed not to do. See you in a week. — It's dot com 00:33, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
i hate to rub it in, but isn't it kind of ironic that this was all done on wikitroll? 69.162.201.219 00:33, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
It's like raieeaaain on your wedding day. But rubbing it in isn't particularly helpful or necessary. —AbdiViklas 06:50, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Dot com

Well I never said anything personal against him or anything like that. He has been a little less than pleasant toward me, just cos I happen to strongly disagree with him, so I'm not exactly going to be all cheery with him. Oh well. Yeltensic Save the guestbooks 03:25, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Even so, you should respect him. If he has just counterpointed your opinion and said his argument like he did, that gives you no reason to be like that. He also might just be mad at you because of your ridiculously profane comments that are barely censored. He can block you, and I might not be the one to say this, but I suggest you realize the trouble you could be in if you gave him another reason to be mad at you. So instead of talking to me about this, why don't you head on over to his talk page? Seriously (Talk) 20:26, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, but that's really not necessary. — It's dot com
Yeah, maybe i was a bit harsh about this whole subject. Maybe i should go get some suudsu and lie down. Naw, I'm too much of a wikiholic. Seriously (Talk) 20:31, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Stop talking to troublemakers

Stop talking to troublemakers. It just puts more gas on the fire. Don't call them stupid. Don't tell them we're going to get them. If I remember correctly, it was your insistence in telling Ciberdude that he was a troll that started that whole feud. Let the sysops handle the troublemakers. — It's dot com 00:53, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes. I understand. I am just fed up at the overflowing amount of yeltensics. Seriously (Talk) 00:55, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Seriously, it is frustrating. But it doesn't do any good to threaten or insult vandals and trolls (this applies to any troll or vandal, not just Yeltensic). Sometimes, that's just what they're looking for, and at any rate, it won't stop them. Since we aren't sysops, the best thing we can do is revert and, if necessary (i.e., if the sysops don't already know), report on WikiTroll. Note that since Yeltensic isn't actually committing vandalism on the pages, we really should just leave this one up to the sysops. Heimstern Läufer 01:56, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
You are right. This isn't the way. Seriously (Talk) 01:58, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for Welcoming Me

Thank you for welcoming me! What's a bit ironic, though, is that the person you warmly welcomed just now is the same person you listed as a WikiTroll and have insulted now and then. CMB stands for Christopher Michael Bensko. But thanks anyway. CMB 00:57, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

I knew it. Dot com, see what this guy just wrote. This is ridiculous. Seriously (Talk) 00:58, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

I find it rather interesting that I've always been pretty nice to you, Seriously, but you seem quite fond of insulting me. ThisDude 01:11, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

In the end, yelt, I'm just disappointed. You seemed like a pretty good user at first. Then, you became obsessed with the guestbooks and started putting offensive messages that were barely censored. Then, you went even further and made a page called save the guestbooks. Again. Again. And again. Finally you got blocked. I thought that would be the end, but no. Even when you go blocked, you just wouldn't give up. You've created more than 5 usernames, you know. That's bad. real bad. You are just ruining your reputation further. Soon, you will never have a chance to even salvage the broken pieces of your reputation, because you will be blocked indefinitely. Just give up, do your time, and come back on the wiki with a clean slate when you are unblocked. It's not too late. Seriously (Talk) 01:18, 29 January 2006 (UTC) Will, you buttkisser. And I mean that in a nice way. Once again, your opinions on and off the wiki have changed dramaticly. Or did they?--Trendy Totebag 02:24, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Signature

Hi Seriously, I see you're working on your signature. I'm sure you're aware of our signature standards. It's not a big deal if it's a tiny little bit over the size limit, but your signature is currently over twice the allowable size. Please make sure that when you're finished, it's within the size limit. I've included your sig and the sig box below, as a handy reference while you work on it. I would suggest rewording, or <small> or tags, or both. Thanks. Thunderbird 04:32, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Well sure, just see for yourself. Feel free to monkey around with it, just remember: Think outside the box, create inside it. (Man, that's a bad pun)  ;) Thunderbird 04:55, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Ah, i didn't mind the pun. Seriously (Talk) 04:55, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Please choose something you can live with for a while and then keep it that way. What makes a signature special in real life is that it is recognizable because it, in general, stays the same over time. Here on the wiki, a signature should not be changed very often, simply because it's kind of like a logo that people use to identify you. (If a company changed its logo every day, people would have a hard time figuring out what they're buying.) Talk atcha later. — It's dot com 05:02, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
