Profile
- Name
- Phillip Bradbury
- Age
- 21
- Location
- Newcastle, NSW, Australia
- Inner left thigh measurement
- 31cm
- Currently
- Studying 4th year of B Engineering (Software) at UNCLE.
- How I found Homestar Runner
- A couple of people were talking about it in a chat channel once, and someone posted a link to crazy cartoon. I watched it, and was both amused and confused... then I watched the latest Strong Bad Email, which at the time was mile - having seen two PbTC toons in a row, I thought they just couldn't do flash well, even though it was kinda funny at times (though I didn't really get mile of course). Then I saw First Time Here?, and watched A Jorb Well Done as it said to, another toon with relatively bad graphics, and which to this day I still don't find very funny. But then I watched all the Character Videos, and some other SBEmails, and got hooked.
- How I found HRWiki
- I was actually planning to make my own site very similar to this one (except not a wiki) - Transcripts, Inside References, etc... Then, on one 1 April 2005, I thought "Come on, this is the Internet, someone's surely done this already", hit Google and found this site. I signed up immediately.
- Shiny new website
- http://www.mrphlip.com/ – Hosted by FellowSites... cheap, friendly, and I'm helping (in an admittedly small way) to keep the wiki alive. On the downside, I sound like an advertisement when I talk about it...
Miscellaneous Randomness and Random Miscellany
My major contributions to the wiki:
- The transcripts for:
- space program, along with VolatileChemical
- Weclome Back, along with H*Bad
- cliffhangers
- retirement A
- looking old
- Creating Help:Namespaces
- Transcribed much of Flashforward Interview - 10 Feb 2006
- Some of the work on Thy Dungeonman 3, in particular, the majority of Thy Dungeonman 3 Messages and Image:Thy Dungeonman 3 Kiga Identikit.png
- Got the Cologne Blue skin working... I might do the others too one day.
- Extended Image:ComputerRoomFull.PNG - Thunderbird L17 layed the groundwork, stitching the widescreen desk from flashback with the roof from pop-up. I then added the lightswitch from monument (it was better than the one in techno, since it didn't have the disco lights all the time). It was rather an ordeal - the picture was a different size, the floor height didn't quite like up and the background was brighter. I had to redo the entire back wall behind The Cheat and (annoyingly) his glowstick. I also had to redraw the edges of the No Loafing sign and Homestar's shoes, since these had been cut off. Plus of course the edge of the carpet... It was fun.
- All of Stinkoman 20X6 Walkthrough Level 4 except the boss strategy, and the transcript part of Stinkoman 20X6 Walkthrough Level 9
- The Level 4 through 6 enemies in Stinkoman 20X6 Enemies and Items
- Starting Videro
- Started the transcripts for Alamo Drafthouse - 10 Jun 2005
- Made the trophies for the S2005 and 2006 HRWiki Forum Awards
- Did a lot of work documenting Random Toon and its side-effects, including all the Puppet Stuff having their own HTML files now (though I didn't start the page, and others have contributed a lot to it too)
- Random gnoming... why were there so many templates with centering broken in the exact same way? It's like people just went and copied the same broken one over and over...
style="margin: 0 auto", people! - Along with It's dot com and most of the rest of the admin/sysop team, pulled off an April Fools Day joke. On April Fools Day, even. Details here.
- Spent the time necessary to find out that the first Fan Costume Commentary photo was from sibbie... I'm not entirely sure if I should be proud if this.
Other achievements:
- My Stinkoman 20X6 Cheat Program was Fanstuff of the Week for 29 May - 5 June, 2005
