[edit] Caption Contest

יפה מאד!

Oh, so THAT'S what that is. In that case...

"I don't like food anymore!"

Thunderbird 20:30, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

You are correct mister! Winners, like you, gets pizza! and now for the next quote. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:48, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Caption Contest

"Are you some kind of a robot? And if so, what kind of powers do you have?" Thunderbird 21:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, yeah. You won. Here is your pizza. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 21:55, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New New Caption Contest

Okay okay, I won't answer this one. Besides, I couldn't figure it out this time anyways. Thunderbird 22:57, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bye (Maybe)

Hello, you won't here from me for a while. I think I'll leave because I'm on here way to much. See ya in the future. I MIGHT leave, on Friday. I might not even leave. --TheThin 16:03, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Have fun. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:04, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Parody wiki

Go here I'll make u a sysop --TheThin 19:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

God, I hate that site. Seriously (Talk) 19:25, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Would you hate it if you were a sysop? --TheThin 19:26, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for the kind offer, but I would have to refuse. I would not touch this troll-infested abomination you call a "parody wiki" with a 10 meter pole. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:27, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Nice. Real nice. That site is, like , 100% vandalism. Seriously (Talk) 19:30, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I cannot tell you but I personally know one of the vandals on Hrwooky. His Idenity would shock strong bads mask off. I can't tell you who he is but just go to say he is well respected on this wiki.
Also, write that thing about the bird and you will get your prize, I allready made it.— Pieinbubsface (t) 05:26, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't care what's going on on that website of yours. I see you didn't get the joke I was pulling on you, even after I gave you a link to the Wikipedia article. For those who weren't there, Mr. Pie here wrote that he will give me a prize if I gave him 5 American bucks. I said that insted, I will give him the bird. He didn't get it. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 06:48, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
No I got it but you have to right about it on your user page to get the awared.— Pieinbubsface (t) 03:11, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Wild Smoking Monkey Weasel

"E.L. Cool? More like, E.L. not Cool. Hah!" - Oscar Wilde on E.L. Cool

E.L. sorry about the delay - obviously I don't sign in around here as much as I used to ^_^ - BazookaJoe actually contacted me via Uncyclopedia about your concern. I checked out the article, and you're right - it was terrible, mean-spirited, and really just a waste of time. So, of course, I re-did the entire thing. Don't check out the article if you're easily offended (I tried to inject some apt satire into the mix), but I have self-appointed myself guardian of that page and will make sure glorifying HR vandalism is kept where it belongs - in the trash.

I like your user boxes! I gotta get me some 'a those. Rock, rock on, — THE SMOKING MONKEY 14:32, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Dude! I like my userboxes too! Get outa here! Don't worry, I'm never easily offended by enything. I can laugh at stuff far more worse then anything you can imagine (But that's off the wiki, right?) Your work on that article is so funny, and also true! Well, exept for the part about TBC... And the one about the users... OK! The whole darn thing was false, but still so funny! Rock rock on, Wild Monkey! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:55, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Nice work guys, that article's actually funny now, yet it still perserves making fun of our whole wiki. Now that's talent. Thunderbird 17:16, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Page validation

You may want to revert back to this version of your page since the new one messes with the side and top bars of the page. Somehow the odd behavior was introduced in the subsequent edit which I can't reach for some reason. Most interesting. Anyway I still have 4 weird validation errors in my page and I only know of one, which leads me to believe that the wiki software itself may be creating validation errors. Just a thought. --Stux 21:03, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

I've got like 130 validation errors on my userpage... Go figure. Thunderbird 23:52, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Well, our friend Jweb Guru did an excellent job in fixing El Cool's page! I bet I'm pretty impressed! Oh and yours is validated too TBird! Sweet! --Stux 04:04, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Yup, Phlip even validated my subpages. I'd never turn away a bit of free validation. ;) Thunderbird 04:08, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you all, and especially for our very own blast from the past: Jweb Guru! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:48, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Project

I'm really sorry but I don't know enough Hebrew to help. But there is hope, I soon will have a tutor for my Bar Mitzvah. Yes I'm under 13. 11 to be exact. check my userpage. --Dacheatbot · Communicate

[edit] Hmmmm

Apparently, you're too serious. "not a joke" for almost everything. lol &mdash Young Roy

When dealing with a comedy site, almost every articel can be labeled as an "inside joke" by the fans. The defenition of what and inside joke is can vary between people, so me and Lapper are going to put things in order. Now he is making a list of articles in a need for recategorizing and a place to discuss it. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 22:09, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I need a translation

Hey E.L. Cool. I'm doing the copyright law page thing on the [ Weird Al Wiki], and want other languages to be there. I'm guessing it's easier for people to understand it in their native language, and want everyone to understand it well. Here's the text:

=Hebrew= The Weird Al Wiki is a GNU Free Document Lisence website, found [ here]. Under the Fair Use policy of the United States, this wiki is meant as an encyclopedia, as well as an archive on [["Weird Al" Yankovic|Alfred Yankovic's]] work. You may use copyrighted material that do not fit the Fair Use policy standards on the wiki on one condition: *You have permission of the copyright owner. ==Statements== *Permission is granted for anyone to edit the Weird Al Wiki. *The Weird Al Wiki collects no profit. *The Weird Al Wiki does not distribute copyrighted work.

If you could please translate that into Hebrew I would REALLY appriciate it. Bluebry 02:28, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

Oh. You are a user on the Weird Al Wiki. Sorry, it's just I just noticed that now. Bluebry 02:44, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
I could translate it, but isn't it a bit un-needed? If someone can't understand Al's songs, how will he understand the wiki? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:19, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
All of a sudden, I realize I'm an idiot. Thanks anyways! Bluebry 04:23, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Poll

Would you mind participating in my poll on my user page? Bluebry 05:21, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I need an actual number before I edit the WP article. Bluebry 05:26, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Gald to be at service. Why 100? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:29, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Kinda for an easy percentage. That and we get a large number of H*R fans. Bluebry 05:33, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Ok. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:34, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sysop

Hey E.L. It is my pleasure to announce that you have been given sysop privileges and responsibilities. If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask. May you always use your powers for good and for awesome. — It's dot com 00:01, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Wow, congratulations! ^-^ May you continue to do great things. --DorianGray
I wish I could be one but I know I will never be one. --TheThin 00:12, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Way to go, E.L. Cool! —BazookaJoe 01:08, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Happy E.L.Cool Day, Ilko. May you never get the black lung! Er, congrats! --Jay (Talk) 01:43, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Thank you one and everyone. There was nothing like waking up one morning and seeing a new email from one called It's dot com. Just to let you all know, this change will not effect my behavior on the wiki. I will still be that same list-loving, toon-quoting, gnome-working user I have always been. Well, now I can delete. And block. And protect. And do other neat stuff the rest can't. But that's it! Normal user all the way. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:57, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Congrats El Coolio! --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

Thank you all! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:17, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, combolations on becoming a sysop! Bluebry 18:14, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hey!

I Was going to do all the other caracters for Rejected Costumes in the morning until someone took down my {{inprogress}} template and now you did the rest? I'm not mad but I'm kind of frustrated that someone took away my first big edit. --Dacheatbot · Communicate 15:53, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Oh man, I'm so sorry. I knew I should have read the talk page. Why didn't you put the inprogress template back? You know you have every right to. You could always get creative and and do another page. Just two days ago I found the Yearbook Character Page and did an overhaul on it. If you want Ideas, you can go to HRWiki:Featured Article Selection and select an article that didn't quite made it and make it worth featuring. Some people found random surfing to be an excellent way to find stuff to do. Hope it helps! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:12, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Dacheatbot, I'm a bit confused. According to this edit, it was you that took down the inprogress template in the first place. In any case, don't worry too much about it. You can still put it on your list of contributions as a half project. And like E.L. Cool said; there's lots of pages that you could find and fix. If I come across another time-consuming project that you can do, I'll send it your way. ;) Thunderbird 21:52, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I was kinda bummed out when I saw that you had done the rest of the work. And I did put it back up but Salty took it down and replaced it with A Stubs template. Look at the history. --Dacheatbot · Communicate 22:58, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Oh sorry, I didn't notice that. Don't worry, you'll find another project. Thunderbird 23:08, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm sure you will! Have a nice searching :) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:55, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wild Weasel Offers His Congrabulations!

E.L.! Hey, I know I'm seldom around anymore, but I'm here to offer congrats on your sysop-hood at HRWiki. You were always a very decent guy to me, and I knew your extra-hard work and razor-sharp diligence would pay off (I could always tell you were sysop material ^_^ ). Plus, I won't forget you sticking up for me and my work on a couple of occasions, not to mention just being nice!

So, have fun banning troublemakers and keeping HRWiki the outstanding site it is, and whatever else it is that sysops do!!! Rock, rock on! — THE SMOKING MONKEY 01:40, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, you weasel-smoking, monkey-wilding guy! In the week or so since I was sysoped I have'nt got the chance to block/delete or do any of the sysopy things... I'm just at the wrong time waiting at the right place. So, um... See you tomorrow! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:01, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] SQT!

Congrats on both your first SQT ANd your sysophood.(PS- Thank you for the sig, again!)

--אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

Thanks, buddy! Going straight to the userpage. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 08:05, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] This

Can you delete this? The thing just welcomed a completely nonexistent username. — Seriously (Talk) 12:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

HE'S REAL! --TheThin 12:50, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
The thing: Please don't delete discussions not on your user talk page or any other talk page for that matter. Seriously: I'll look into this. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:35, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
We found he was real. --TheThin 14:37, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry to say, but he is on the user list. No contributions what so ever, but he or she is still a user. The thing: Next time don't welcome a user that is not new. Consult only the user creation log. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:40, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

EDiT CONFLiCT'd! The user certainly exists, but it's not in the user creation log, so the account is old - from before we started logging user creations (I think that came with MediaWiki 1.5). In any case, if they haven't done anything since then, I doubt they're coming back, so no point in welcoming them, but no point in deleting it either. Even explaining this was probably too much ;-) phlip TC 14:42, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
You said it Phlip! Hi-five! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:44, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] In the trenches

Well, E.L., you finally got to use your sysop powers. :-) Heimstern Läufer 18:29, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, got to delete and block. And also help users in need. Like I said on IRC, I feel so sysopish ^^. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:31, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Message

I don't mean to sound rude but there is a message there. I double checked just now. Strong Sader

No, Strong Sader, you are not rude. Thank you for clearing this up. I just had to clear my cache. It's just that it was added by an anonny, who I trust less then registered users, like yourself. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:19, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Frappr

I've created an account there, now how do I become on map? LePorello / T / C 17:51, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

 1. Go to Our map page.
 2. Under the Add To Map box, you'll see a Add Yourself tab.
 3. Select the proper pin (Juys, Grrls, Cheats or Poms) depending who you are.
 4. Write something in the shoutout box (or not).
 5. Click on the Add Me! botton.
 6. Good luck! See you there.
Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:57, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks! I'm on it. LePorello / T / C 22:11, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sysop questions

i asked sombody if i could be a sysp but they didnt say anythng how can i be a sysp?

First, learn how to spell. We don't have a group of users here who are "sysp". We have Sysops and Admins. Second, read our FAQ. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:35, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
oh. im sory. the other sysop was nicer. do i have to spell my email right to get it ansered?
I can answer that one, at least. --Jay (Talk) 05:41, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
While Strong Bad appreciate good grammer and spelling, we are only a fan site. That means we have no connection what so ever with The Brothers Chaps or any of their brethren. If you want to email Strong Bad himself, I suggest watching an email 'till the end of it and clicking The Paper that comes from the top of the screen. (PS: Still, read the FAQ) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:45, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

oh. r u from hebrew?

While I do speak Hebrew, I live in Israel. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:45, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
oh i see. what does ttaot mean?
It means "This That and The Other Thing". Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:49, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
oooooooooh. where is isreal?
Israel is located in the Middle East to the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Egypt, Jorden, Lebanon and Syria. Follow the link for more information. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:55, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
