URLs With the Number 2 In Them

I wonder how that happens.

For some reason, some toons have the number 2 in the URL, even though the toon is not the second in series. In some cases, this could be because there are two versions of the cartoon, as is the case with Homestar Talker. This also might be a parody similar to the Jibblies 2 gag.
