The Cheat has a got a problem: he's a smoker. While usually cigarettes, he's not opposed to old-style pipes. He can usually be seen puffing on a pack of Trophy Lights after a period of stress or fatigue. Though some times his friends will try to get him off cigarettes, he is hooked good, and these attempts are never too succesful. Other characters, usually those in Old-Timey cartoons, can be seen with cigars, which Strong Bad recommends only the finest of be used at dinner when trying to impress a lady.

There is also a brief mention of "smoking cigarettes" in Homestar and Craig's short film, in Puppets on the Road.
