The Cheat's Lightswitch

The Cheat's Lightswitch is a special lightswitch Strong Bad installed below his regular lightswitch to accommodate The Cheat's small stature. It only appears in a few of the Strong Bad Emails, most notably in techno, where The Cheat used it, along with his glowstick, to throw his own Lightswitch Rave. Strong Bad disapproved of this, reminding The Cheat that he installed it so that The Cheat could turn the lights on and off, not so that he could throw lightswitch raves. The sign above the switch sometimes reads "The Cheat's Lightswitch" and other times simply "The Cheat".

The lightswitch is featured on Disc 1 of the strongbad_email.exe 3 DVD Set in the opening sequence. Strong Bad accidentally switches on The Cheat's lightswitch when he walks into the room. Strong Bad says "Wrong switch" after hearing The Cheat's techno music and the lightswitch rave starts up with The System Is Down. The animation is done in 3D, and it would seem that Strong Bad flips on the top lightswitch, which is not The Cheat's lightswitch.

In Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, the game labels it "Rave Switch", and Strong Bad deliberately throws Lightswitch Raves when the player examines it (though he remarks that he sometimes gets tired of it).

• Debut: Email techno — The Cheat uses it to throw a lightswitch rave to go with Strong Bad's techno song.
• Email interview — The lightswitch is clickable, and it will display the lightswitch rave effects.
• Email monument (Easter egg) — The Cheat throws another lightswitch rave for Strong Bad's "Technochocolate" song.
• Email replacement (Easter egg) — The lightswitch appears in the background.
• strongbad_email.exe Disc One — In the introductory scene, Strong Bad turns on the lightswitch, and the rave with The System Is Down starts up.
• Yahoo Store — The Cheat uses it with a glowstick while recommending other items the shopper might be interested in.
• Homestar Ruiner — First, Strong Bad says, "Check this out!", throws the lightswitch rave, and says, "Ah, I sometimes get tired of that", and subsequently says, "Yeah, I'm definitely tired of that."
• Strong Badia the Free — Strong Bad says robotically, "Prepare yourself, test commencing", throws the lightswitch rave, and says robotically, "I didn't prepare myself".
• Baddest of the Bands — Strong Bad starts out, "And now it's time for a breakdown!" before throwing the lightswitch rave. Then he says, "Ahh, that's the stuff." Later, he says that the spinny dots are making him see things.
• 8-Bit is Enough — Strong Bad presents the very special Trogdor lightswitch rave. Then he says, "And the Trogdor comes... in the night."
