[edit] Now I get it!
Okay, now I see what you were using the page for! Clever. However, while playing around with it, a blank appeared in place of a quote once. Just a heads up. --Jaybor Day (Talk) 20:20, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, good job on this, Dot comster. Keep on making...awesome stuff. — Seriously (Talk) 20:21, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
I fixed the blank bug. The script uses the asterisks to delimit the quotes, and it counts the empty space in front of the first asterisk as the first item in the list. I set it to ignore that one. — It's dot com 20:28, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Quote add...
"I'm not gonna lie to you, that's a healthy piece of real estate!" One of my favorites. --Da M-izz-uTizzalk 18:57, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- "Caramel corn for president, please!", is missing as well. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 22:33, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] for kids
Why is there one saying "Homsar as seen in for kids", if Homsar never says that? Homestar-Winner (talk)
- Because it's used as a possible caption on Homsar's page. — Has Matt? (talk) 20:16, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Move
Recommend move to "Template:homsarcaption" - Qermaq - (T/C) 21:33, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree. There are only one or two
captionsnon-Homsar quotes in that list, and they definitely aren't as funny as the actual quotes and should be delorted anyway (IMHO). Loafing 21:37, 20 May 2007 (UTC)- I agree with loafing, those captions aren't as good as the quotes anyway, and should get removed. DeFender1031 21:39, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- A reminder to all: this caption was created to stop the edit wars over the caption at Homsar. I don't feel anything should be removed from this except maybe "Homsar as seen in for kids" (pretty dull, that one). Heimstern Läufer 21:42, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I say we remove all quotes that weren't actually said by Homsar himself. Homestar-Winner (talk) 21:57, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- The template should not be moved. None of the lines should be removed (the top two lines only show up on the Homsar page anyway). The ones Strong Bad made up are just as funny as the ones Homsar actually said (and even appear on the Homsar T-shirt). Everything is fine the way it is. — It's dot com 22:33, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think what dot com is trying to say is: "This is real. Everything is fine. Nothing is ruined." — Defender1031*Talk 22:36, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-toon quotes
Should quotes from interviews and other non-toon sources be included? I say not, as fewer people have seen the interviews, and the interviews are not actually part of the hr universe. — Defender1031*Talk 18:29, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I say include them. They are legit TBC and are largely funny, and might even serve as a way to link people to the interviews in question (i.e., "Where's that from?" <click>). Heimstern Läufer 18:55, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Heimtern, for all the reasons he listed. — It's dot com 20:27, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Um, yeah...
How does this work? Would it be possible to make a new template that works just like this one but randomly says something completely different from a Homsar quote? 'Cause I'd really like to know. Neox ONION BUBS! 16:25, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
