Thought I'd post my explanation here and let you duke it out if it's legit or not.  I had an entry that was deleted, guessing that "Gary the Legend" is a reference to Larry Zbyszko, aka "The Living Legend."  Now, while the deleter said that the "legend" thing was tenuous at best (which I'd sort of agree with if that was a problem), I mainly made the association because of the rhyming aspect.  Such as "Gary the Legend" and "Larry the Legend" (as Zbyszko is sometimes called).  Is this too much of a stretch? (Also, I guess to add to this train of thought, when "Legend" is mentioned in pro wrestling, many times it refers to Larry Zbyszko.  If I recall correctly, he once filed a lawsuit against Randy Orton for calling himself "The Legend Killer" ... "Legend" being the part of the nickname that he felt was trademarked.)  --- El Santo

:I don't know much about wrestling history but that seems to be a pretty convincing case.  I don't see a reason to exclude it.  ([[User:Some kind of scientist|Some kind of scientist]] 03:52, 1 December 2007 (UTC))

I'm the one who removed it, and I did so because, as written, there's no actual connection made beyond the word "Legend", and I assumed it was merely grasping at straws. I have no knowledge of wrestling whatsoever, so this clears things up for me. -{{User:YK/sig}} 00:04, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
