Flash Facts

I'm not sure where to put it on the page, but the "Up Next - Breakfast Unboxing w/ The Exact Same" screen that's in the Youtube video (after the "C-G-eeow" and before Couch Z) is in the flash file, you can see it with the Homestar All-In-One userscript if you have the flash controls enabled and press play after it pauses. --Emtu 06:59, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

It should definitely go in the "YouTube Version" section that, er, presently does not exist. The Flash version can be noted in Trivia with a "see below". --Jay (Talk) 07:06, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
I went ahead and put it in, both the trivia and the YouTube section. Could somebody upload a screenshot? Apparently I don't have permission to register for an account. -- 21:01, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

The Real Reason?

So I was thinking, should we have a fun fact explaining why Senor Cardgage doesn't have a character video (IE that the character videos are from 2003 and Cardgage didn't even exist until 2004)? I feel like it might fall under too obvious/explaining the joke, but it apparently wasn't obvious to the person who sent the email. Freshasabagel 14:55, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Aside from it being bordering on explaining the joke, it's not even a complete reason. They could have updated the character videos to add one for Cardgage any time since then. The real reason is that he's not a main character, which definitely doesn't need noting on the page. — Defender1031*Talk 15:10, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
I was going to say a very similar thing there are many characters in the HR universe that don't have videos. The first ones to come to mind are The Commandos and the old timey versions I R F 15:15, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Homestar's new mouth

Homestar gets a new face in this toon. Should this be mentioned here, if not his page? -- Mml554 talk 15:51, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Despite claiming he has never seen a R-rated movie, Homestar has gone as Carl Spackler from the R-rated movie Caddyshack. Should this put under trivia? — (Talk | contribs) 16:51, 15 August 2017 (left unsigned)

It's not really that notable. He might've never even seen the movie— maybe he just saw a picture of him or something. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 05:47, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

I think the title of this sbemail might be a reference to kind of cool, the first 'toon Senor Cardgage appeared in. -- Mml554 talk 18:49, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

It's not a reference to the toon specifically. The idea that Strong Bad thinks Senor Cardgage is cool is a running gag or just a quirk of Strong Bad's character. - Catjaz63 01:39, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Is the 'D' part of this a reference to D-VHS? --Everybody! Everybody! 21:08, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Release Date

Yes, the H* main page says August 14. However, It's dot com created the page after midnight, and I also noticed last night that the YouTube video was made available at a time after midnight. This is probably pointed at DC, but did anyone notice if the toon was on the website before midnight EDT (before 04:00 15 August 2017 UTC)? The Knights Who Say Ni 05:39, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

I added the August 14 date to this page, because it was August 14 when I did so... in my time zone, which is not EDT. It's PDT. If we're using EDT as the standard (which makes sense) then I guess August 15 is actually more right.

Investment Explanations

So... could someone with stock-trading experience please add brief summaries of what primary, secondary, and TER-ti-A-ry investments actually are under the Explanations section? Googling it's just getting me a bunch of ads for stock brokers. -- 13:58, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
