Was the Polish email from Janus real, or did TBC make it up? Because I saw on some other page here at the wiki that the only email TBC made up was mile - since I'm not sure if this would count or not, that's why I'm asking. It seems like it would be made up, since one of the inside references says that Janus is a character from Chrono Trigger - although now that I think about it, they might have done that as a reference to the email sender, before they actually introduced it. Either way, I'm confusing myself with my strangely worded question. Is it real, or is it fake? {{User:Compgrl323/sig}} 02:55, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

:We have no reason to believe that it's fake (in fact, as you said, TBC said they don't make up emails). Janus is a real name, and not that unpopular in Eastern Europe, as far as I know. When Homestar says "soo many 'fwags'" is it possible his speech impediment is referring to flags?  Because if so, it may refer to Halo 2's online mode, in which one of the popular modes of gameplay is Capture the Flag.

[edit] I have a question.

I just added something to this entry, (my first entry ever! YAY!) and I then set up an account with a username and all, and I realized that it didn't track my identity once I created the account (ie: my IP address is given credit for the change, while my user account "kokoloko" isn't.) Is there any way to fix this? (Sorry about how discombobulated this message is, I am extremely tired :) )

No. Edits made by IPs are forever logged as edits made by IPs; else I'd have taken credit for starting Wikipedia:Clockwork Knight 2 a long while ago back at, well, Wikipedia.
General tip: don't forget your signature. That'd be four tildes (~~~~), if you didn't know. Shadow Hog 17:30, 16 Nov 2004 (MST)

[edit] Fun Facts

I don't know if this is very fun, but in the B. Ryan Holmes easter egg, the phone number is given as 555-XYLM. This is probably a reference to 'xylem', which is a part of a plant. So it'd make sense given the easter egg being about trees. --69.81.102.139 02:40, 26 Feb 2005 (MST) (I really need to sign up on the hrwiki some time.)

Firebird, how is my funfact a "may be" and not definate?---erson 00:47, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)

We're not for sure if it's refering to autobiography. A definate fun fact would be, say, Strong Bad saying the exact same phrase that he did in a certain email. →FireBird

[edit] Collections Agency

Bubs' collections agency letter is retaliation for Strong Bad's collections agency prank in lackey.

I just put that up! It works! What's the deal?! Stop removing it!-- TaranchulaVamp15 14:18 13 July 2005 (CST)

That's just speculation; it could just be that Strong Bad bought lots of stuff from Bubs' stand and forgot to pay for it. Put it in STUFF if you disagree with its removal. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 19:25, 13 Jul 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Pizzle the Nizzle (Declined)

The line "positate the negative" refers to the song Accentuate the Positive, by Johnny Mercer.

  • Decline. Both the Johnny Mercer song and strongbad's line refer to evangelical preaching in general. --rsl12 08:41, 30 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] Tappity Tappity (Declined)

When Strong Bad dismisses the email's text to make room for his new text, as he does often, it makes the standard typing sound effects instead of the hard "enter" hitting sound.

  • Although it was deleted as "not fun", I'm not too sure that it deserves it. Your opinions? --Jay 00:03, 5 Feb 2005 (MST)
  • Decline. Strong Bad often clears the screen by just typing more, analogous to a 'soft return' onto the next page. -- The Real Zajac 14:39, 6 Feb 2005 (PST)

[edit] Prior Arrest

When Strong Bad mentions having to do community service for a prior arrest, it is likely a reference to the Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon.

[edit] Mr. Strong vs. Mr. Bad

Although Strong Bad, Strong Mad and Strong Sad are brothers, and presumably share the family name "Strong" (aka Asian practice), the snailmail is addressed to "Mr. Bad". While this clearly makes the adressee unambiguous, it is an incorrect form of address.
