"Strongbad repeating hose me down seems to be a reference to skate videos." What the heck does this mean?--Hysterical Woman 09:12, 5 Nov 2004 (MST)

  • I'm not sure, but I did edit it to make it a little more proper. Perhaps "skate videos" means videos like Tony Hawk's or something like that. --oddtodd 22:06, 19 Nov 2004 (MST)

I thought it meant like when in skateboarding videos, after they show a trick, they'll flash the clip about twice more so you can see it again, just like they did it in this, but for no reason. --VolatileChemical 19:22, 30 Mar 2005 (MST)

Stench of Biblical Proportions

There's a fun fact that says:

The fact that Strong Bad says "a stench of biblical proportions"
refers to the Bible and that there was always some kind of destuction
going on.

Is that fact even necessary? I'm torn between whether it's useful or not. --oddtodd 22:27, 19 Nov 2004 (MST)

I would have deleted it in its original form since it's sort of offensive, but it's a little better now. --Clever Ben

The whole fun fact should be deleted all together, since "A *something* of biblical proportions" is a commonly used phrase to describe something enourmous, such as "a flood of biblical proportions"--Nevrmore 15:18, 5 Jan 2005 (MST)

Has Matt?

I doubt this is a reference to Matt Chapman. It's probably just a coincidence that they used the pun "Has Matt?" because it sounds like "Hazmat", since that is the word for who comes after a chemical spill. You might as well say if they use "Mike" instead of "Microphone", they're talking about Mike. And not all HSR fans know them by any other name than The Brothers Chaps, so they probably wouldn't mkae a joke that not all fans had a way of understanding.

I think it's very possible to be referencing Matt Chapman. Just because some of the fans won't get a joke doesn't mean they aren't going to put it in there. That's one of the reasons that make Homestar Runner funny! →[[User:FireBird|FireBird]]

Well, I still think it's a coincidence. --VolatileChemical 19:21, 30 Mar 2005 (MST)
