Facts removed

The Cheat signs his name in l33t, apparently showing off his tech savvy.

"Teh" is not l33t. "Th3" or "T3h" would be l33t. "Teh" is just funky spelling.

The back of Ilko's hair is the same design as the Cheat's.

Noted in the transcript. --150.254.78.105 05:39, 1 Dec 2004 (MST)

Talk about an old note

For a discussion on some of these fun facts and how they have been handled, see this forum thread. Please check it out before further editing.

Yeah, I just removed this note from last July. I've put it here for posterity. Or something like that. -- Tom 17:52, 17 Jan 2005 (MST)

Ilko

How is the Ilko easter egg a reference to final fantasy games? I personally don't see the connection.(On a side note, that easter egg gives me the creeps). Perhaps someone would like to elaborate?

I thought it was a little creepy. User:Catman87

Ugh, I did too. I don't like Ilko much. — talk Bubsty edits 04:19, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

Closed STUFF

Get outta here kid? (DECLINED)

Strong Bad saying "Get outta here kid!" to Bubs is a reference to the Thnikkaman's catch phrase "Shut up kid!"

The keytar in the email is a Yamaha SHS-10

The keytar Bubs plays in this email is a Yamaha SHS-10.

Picture of a Yamaha SHS-10

The SHS-10 is a red keytar (a rare silver edition exists), that was considered to be the cheapest midi-controller at the time in the late 80's. At 100$, it was almost a toy-synth but with professional features like midi out , a pitch-bend and a two digits led display. It also has internal sounds and a speaker, so it can play music on its own (unlike many other midi-controller keytars).

In the cassette tape easter-egg tune made by Bubs and Coach Z, one of the two synth instruments is the default SHS-10 instrument number 00, which is called incidentally "synthesizer".: VL-Tone 06:59, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Yup. See Bubs' keytar. Perhaps you could add to some to that article? -- Tom 12:53, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't noticed this page, it's not linked on the cheatday article. I'm a little shy about editing pages here, but I'll do my best :) VL-Tone 03:45, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

The sender.

This segmant was edded to the page by an annoy:

The Submiter of the email signed it as Mike, Colorado. I think Mike, Colorado was cut down to Mike CO turned into Mike Control.

Is there a way to confirm this? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:10, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Unless the IP contributor knows the Mike in question, no. It's a reasonable speculation, since CO is the postal abbreviation for Colorado, but just that. It could be his initials for all we know. —AbdiViklas 17:31, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

The wrong system

Has anybody noticed that, due to the use of the US (or maybe the Imperial) measurement system, Skevüld's fake ID wouldn't make it far in Scandinavia? The English labels are plausible, but 293kg and 6-9cm would seem too far-fetched to any Scandinavian. ~~Ravu 19:33, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

"Scandnavian"

I'm surprised to find that I'm apparently the first to notice this, but Strong Bad actually mistypes "Scandinavian" as "Scandnavian". You have to be quick since it's only visible for a split second, after the ID card disappears but before he clears the screen. - furrykef (Talk at me) 03:13, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
