D'you think it'd be worth noting on't page that keyboards like that actually exist? http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-Holographic-Keyboard-20314.shtml Don't you just want one so badly? I know I do. Evil Egg 16:32, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Woah!

That might as well be the computer after the Lapy? Let's stay tuned in 2012...or something. 85.228.165.63 18:33, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you think Strong Bad would ever settle for a computer that wasn't made in the 70s or 80s? I don't. It's all just part of the gag; go along with it. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:07, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I think the ambiguous date of "five years from now" (especially in a DVD toon, where we don't know the actual release date) will keep anything like stunt double/dangeresque 3 or montage/the paper from happening in this case. Plus, you could cop out and say it's an alternate future where he loses his accent, while he tries to save it in our present future, thus effectively erasing the timeline with the Zappy in it. =3 --DorianGray 19:14, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
this all seems pretty irrelevant and forum-style speculation... — Defender1031*Talk 23:15, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
To figure when it takes place, we have to answer these questions...
Which computer did he use? (Lappy 486; 119-201)
What paper came down? (The Paper; 1-173)
Which design was Strong Bad (in this case, we can find out if it took place before or after Alternate Universe)

So, it probably took place between Animal and Candy Product or between Alternate Universe and More Armies. Email Checkin' Dan 23:11, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Maybe A Reference

Next?

Well, Strong Bad Dooj'd the Lappy. Does anyone think this will be next?--Crudely Drawn Cupcake 19:09, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

This is a great question to ask on the forum. — Defender1031*Talk 19:25, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
And if it is, someone will need to figure out how to make the email template have a sky blue background... also, I agree, forum. OpenSourceGreg 03:02, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

XT6'd!

They told me to take it to talk, so here's my disscussion (did i spell that right?). How do we know if XT6 is a reference to 20X6? maybe it's a ref. to the Corpy NT6, but with an X instead of an N. SBE-mail Checker Dan 00:18, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

I think it's a reference to both. Pronounce "X-T-6" and it's exactly the way the "X6" in "20X6" is pronounced. — Defender1031*Talk 00:20, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, i know, but isn't it kinda speculation? Somone that's not It's Dot Com 00:21, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
This is one of those cases I'd call it more of a reasonable inference. Though I guess the sentence on the page could be softened from its absolute, slightly. -132.183.138.201 00:28, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
The truth is, any time we mention an inside reference, there's a certain amount of inference. I think this is well on the inference side of the speculation line, and therefore belongs on the page. True, it's not AS solid as something like a direct quote, but it's solid enough to not be called baseless speculation. — Defender1031*Talk 00:33, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Still, we should mention the NT6 reference in some way. SBE-mail Checker, but I'll check HRE-mails too. 00:35, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
I agree with that as well. — Defender1031*Talk 00:38, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
It looks like a pretty solid connection to me, given the significance of 20X6 on the site (and given that the scene with the Zappy is supposed to take place in the future). As for the Corpy, a mention that it's similar is fine, but I'm actually less sure it's a reference to the Corpy than 20X6. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 00:40, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Again, these references are still somewhat speculation (THREE S's! I WIN!), but I think the Corpy should be mentioned if 20X6 is. SBE-mail Checker, but I'll check HRE-mails too. 00:43, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Strictly speaking, every single known Compy, Inc. computer to date that had a brand number, with the exception of the never-seen "Compydore 64", had a brand number ending with a "6" (the Tandy 400 wasn't necessarily made by Compy). Strong Bad even tried calling a steak sandwich the "Steaky Steaky 6". "NT" was probably chosen for the Corpy due to connections with the networking-friendly Windows NT. XT6 would then carry on the running "6" theme as well as 20X6. The "T" is left being the coincidence from this viewpoint, though perhaps a notable one. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 00:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh, yeah, i never noticed that. They did it with the Terminal D6, too. Perhaps notable on the Compy, Inc. page? SBE-mail Checker Dan 00:57, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Where's the 6 in "Roomy-Vac", "Block", or "Compé"? — Defender1031*Talk 01:02, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
