Ding! Yahoo Store is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

Freebies 1

We need to list all the Freebies you can get with your order. As far as the keychains go, I only know of the Strongbadia Stop sign. --FireBird

Wierd, cause i only know the homestar one. I have 2 of them. lol Is the strongbadia stopsign shaped like a star also, but with homestar's head replaced with the sign? --Martin925

No, the Stop Sign keychain looks like the Stop Sign. It is shaped like the Stop Sign. I think it has www.homestarrunner.com on the back, written in white. I've actually lost mine, so I'll have to find it. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 01:23, 22 August 2005 (BST)

I seriously think that they should make plushies of Strong Bad, Homestar and the rest of the dudes, don't you? - Miss Free Country USA

Re-writing

This page really needs major work, especially in the updating-to-the-new-page department. I think we could also have a section or maybe another page for the Flash store page that they just recently stopped using. -- Tom 19:57, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, it was done for the FAQ and the Email FAQ. Any ideas for the title of the old store page? I was thinking either "Old Store" or "Flash Store". --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 22:10, 23 May 2005 (BST)

Orphaned Image

Until a new section of this article (or a new article altogether) is created, the following is a screenshot of the "old" flash-based store that is no longer linked to any part of the site. I am including it here so it doesn't get "lost in the shuffle": —THE PAPER PREEEOW 14:18, 25 May 2005 (UTC)

Easter Eggs

I'm not seeing this 'Dancing Homestar' easter egg... Is this confirmed? Can it be clarified at all? Thunderbird 21:37, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

I looked at some scripts and i found that the ones that can change backrounds have three. The nighttime is displayed between 7pm and 4am, the sunrise/sunset between 4am and 6am, also between 6pm and 7pm, and the rest daytime. So, starting at 12 am, from 12am to 4am nighttime, 4am-6am sunrise, 6am-6pm daylight, 6pm-7pm sunset, and 7pm-12am nighttime. Sunrise and sunset are identical, the ones that change are Bubsness and Song. Also, this is the first use of my new signature: smileyface.PNG11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 21:22, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Random Troll, Maybe?

Why are the lyrics to "The Cheat" written SMACKDAB in the middle of "Out of Production" and "Toys" like someone trolled the page like a brainless n00b? (Not newb, as in a new guy, n00b as in an idiot) Mashi 15:40, 25 May 2005 (UTC)

Transcribed?

I'd like to give a whack at transcribing the product descriptions (actually just copy 'n' paste). Would that make the page too cluttery? Maybe we could make a table with the product pictures and descriptions. Aurora the Homestar Coder 02:35, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

The last shirt.

The last tone on the shirts in the old store... Am I crazy or is that one not actually Homestar? It doesn't sound like a human voice to me.

Legal Question

Can I obtain Strong Bad's face (for example), print it, go to my local T-shirt printer and do my own shirt? It will be only for personal use and I wouldn't make a dime out of this. Is it legal? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 12:50, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)

As long as you don't sell it commercially, I don't think. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

You don't think it's legal, or you don't think it will be a problam? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 02:27, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

No, it's not legal. TBC have given the rights to reproduce their characters to the company that prints their shirts, and producing your own shirt undermines their ability to turn a profit. Now, as long as you don't sell your shirt (I'm assuming we're talking about one copy), you probably won't attract much notice. But you asked whether it was legal, not whether you would likely be prosecuted. — It's dot com 02:40, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

OK, now I get it. Thanks. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:26, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC) (And yeah.. I already made one :P)

Hey Thanks

I just found out an easter egg if you buy something at the store. It is called Hey, Thanks! Can someone make an article and make the article. It is a real toon. In order for you to view it, you must buy somethig. If you type in the URL, it has somnething with Strong Bad, instead of Homestar and Marzy. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

For all who are doubting, he link is [1], but Strong Bad gives a message about "sneaking in the back door". I have yet to buy something from the real store, so I have not seen the actually "Thanks" toon. —FireBird|Talk 21:37, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Ok, here is a link to my recently ordered [2] figurine thing. Click the continue button. Rogue Leader / (my talk)
Cool. And it looks like they use a bit of JavaScript to check where you are coming from on the "heythanks" page. I found five more files from references in the "sneaking in the back door" flash file:
  1. thankyou_celegante.swf
  2. thankyou_bubsness.swf
  3. thankyou_song.swf
  4. thankyou_cinnamon.swf
  5. thankyou_bonus.swf
but I can't figure out if they are supposed to do anything yet or not. -- Tom 00:13, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)
So, should we add this as an easter egg, or should we make an article. Rogue Leader / (my talk)
Tom: those are the direct Flash files for each "thank-you" message- there is more than one. Five, to be exact, if you count the "back door" message. Using Leader's "Continue" link, I've managed to see three of them- all except "cinnamon.swf". —FireBird|Talk 19:05, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Your computer's clock has to be set to late night to see the "cinnamon" one. Is "bonus" the one with Strong Bad telling you to buy something? --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:13, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Jay- "bonus.swf" is the back-door message.
Anyone- Transcripts of these messages can be found here. Note that I jotted them down quickly, especially "bubsness.swf", so they may be wrong. —FireBird|Talk 19:32, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Transcripts of all but the Bubsness message were already on the Store page. The "celgegante" message appears automatically after you see the "bubsness" message enough times, so I screwed up transcribing the Bubsness message by seeing it too many times. I'm using your version now. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:37, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Cool. Looks like "song.swf" can be played during the day or at night. Changing my clock to around 11:00 p.m. shows that message at night. —FireBird|Talk 19:39, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Uh... in my testing, it replaced "celegante" in the same fashion that it replaces "bubsness", and when my clock was set to late at night (later than 11 PM) it ALWAYS gave me cinnamon.swf. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:41, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Hmm. Must be more than one "late night" toon. Seems as though even if I set my clock late, I still get "song.swf", only at night. I still can't get "cinnamon.swf". —FireBird|Talk 19:43, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
That's because you're not setting it late enough. Try 3 AM. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:47, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Ah. Got it. Semi-late night gives you the "song.swf" (at night), and late-late night gives you "cinnamon.swf". Cool. —FireBird|Talk 19:50, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
No no no, my clock is (correctly) reading 2:50 PM and I'm getting song.swf. I'm quite convinced that song.swf totally replaces celegante.swf after you see the latter enough times. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:52, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
You're sort of right. It goes in time order: bubsness.swf, celegante.swf, song.swf, song.swf (at night), and then cinnamon.swf. —FireBird|Talk 19:54, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I think I'm getting a loop. I got Bubsness at night (set to 11:52 PM). --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:55, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, it's a loop. Except at late night, it goes Bubness for a few rounds, then Celegante, and then Song, and then it starts over. At late night, it's ONLY Cinnamon. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:56, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Well, further testing is helping nothing—I just went straight from Bubsness to Song. But I am quite convinced that (aside from cinnamon.swf) none of them have anything to do with the time on your clock. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 20:03, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Doesn't look like it. song.swf will play with a night-time background if late enough, though. Cinnamon only plays at night, song will play at night (but not late) or day, and the other two only play in the day. Right? —FireBird|Talk 20:06, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Wrong. Like I said, I saw Bubsness at 11:50 PM (it was darkened but otherwise the same.) --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 20:10, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Ah. I think I got it. Apparently (as far as we know) celegante can only be seen during the day, song and bubsness can be seen during either, and cinnamon can only be seen at night. Now am I right? :) —FireBird|Talk 20:14, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
So far, that's as much as we know. Personally, I suspect that Celegante can be seen at not-so-late night, but currently I haven't seen it. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 20:21, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I think that celegante cam only be accsesed in midday, song and bubsness can only be seen at midday and night, and cinnamon must be after midnight. and I never knew that Strong Bad smoked. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

Flash software

Speaking of, what's the best software to use to view Flash files directly? I've looked all around this wiki but I've never come across a name. A Google search gives results, but I don't know which one to pick. Pause. Rewind. Fast forward. Resize/Zoom. View source code. See behind the black. Any or all of these features would be preferable. — It's dot com 19:19, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I can get all of those features except the source code from simply watching the .swf file of any 'toon (we link them on every page.) --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:23, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Riiight... but what software do you use? Do you watch it straight from IE? Firefox? What? — It's dot com
IE. Right-click the toon to see all the features. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 19:28, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I've been using IE for a while now to view .swf files, and not being able to jump ahead, or to move forward or backward more than one frame at a time, just isn't cutting it. I need something more advanced. Some people mention a "seek bar", which tells me there is software out there that is better than just plain ol' IE. Is it Flash developer software? Is it expensive? — It's dot com 19:51, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Try here EDSMILDE
It's dot com: I use Flash Decompiler. The demo doesn't expire. Being just a demo, it doesn't allow you to decompile much, but as a viewer it works great. Oh, and you can see the scripts and inner workings all cool-like. -- Tom 20:14, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Thank you Ed and Tom! — Dot com 21:17, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
About that Flash Decompiler, I know this might seem like a stupid question, but how do u view .swf files on there? --arrow4.PNG~Rebecca~ RJMT speaker-noise.gif 22:48, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I can type a URL directly in where the filename would go in the Open dialog box. Otherwise, you could right-click on the link to the Flash file and save it to your computer and then open it locally. — It's dot com 05:02, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Oh, thanx! --arrow4.PNG~Rebecca~ RJMT speaker-noise.gif 05:33, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Store Revamp

I noticed mib revamped the article. It looks great, but I think it could use some improvement, especially the "Accesories" section. The pictures stretch the screen on smaller screens, and I think it'd look nice if most, if not all, of the products were tables with the "closeup" feature on all of them. I also don't really like the direct images from the actual Homestar Runner Store. I think they could use some editing (and better quality). If the whole thing was a table, it wouldn't look so cluttered and messy, but easy on the eyes and not as difficult to read. My two cents. —FireBird|Talk 21:07, 6 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Freebies

What do the freebies look like (particularly the big freebie, the keychain)? --arrow4.PNG~Rebecca~ RJMT speaker-noise.gif 22:33, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

The keychain is the basically looks like this this and on the back in white writing is homestarrunner.com--bkmlb 22:46, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

But what about that other one described? --arrow4.PNG~Rebecca~ RJMT speaker-noise.gif 22:49, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)
The other keychain is the shape of a star. The front has a red border with Homestar Runner in the middle, and the back has three smaller stars with the words "homestarrunner.com" in red writing. —FireBird|Talk 15:21, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)

They have the Homestar one that is white, shaped like a star, has a picture of homestar on it, a red border, and says the site adress in red on the back. The Strongbadia one is red, shaped like a stop sign (octagon), has the word 'STOP' in white on it, with 'STRONGBADIA, POP: TIRE' in a spraypainted black font written overtop, and has the site adress in white on the back. I don't know of any others! --dayve_57, 1 Oct 2005

Here's a tidbit: on the order confirmation/acknowledgement emails, Big Freebie A is the homestar keychain, and Big Freebie B is the stop sign... I think. I haven't got my order yet but I noticed that I got a different freebie, supposedly... so I think that is how you know which you got. -Jenny 21:13, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

Yup, that's right. And it's now *finally* noted in the newly organized freebies section. Thanks Jenny, sharp eye. Thunderbird 02:35, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Ow! My browser!

Man, this page kills on slow computers. Maybe we should split up the items, much like Sightings ("Store T-shirts", "Store Toys", etc.)? The Store article also looks very, very cluttered and hard to read the way it is. Any ideas? Anyone else want to tackle this? —FireBird|Talk 16:27, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

I agree that this page does look cluttered and we probably should divide this article into muliple pages like T-shirts and Toys. And for the recent changes to the "Front Page", perhaps we could note the difference between text updates instead of quoting verbatim the many "COMING SOON!" sections that say almost exactly the same thing using different words. Layout stuff

I think there are a couple of layout things that need to be discussed.

  1. The T-Shirts section table looks great except for the Sizes column. Currently, only one row has all the sizes listed and really it looks unsightly. I'd do away with the entire column if it was me and think of a different way of listing these (perhaps an extra colspan'd row below each entry).
  2. Also, the 20X6 Stinko Man Shirt!!! pictures should have the red 20X6 box removed from them.
  3. I'm not sure what updates table is referred to here. But tables are generally good.
  4. It's been discussed or at least mentioned before that this page be broken up. Should it? It's not as big as i thought it was but it sure is sizeable. Regardless, the layout of the products and their description is not yet consistent among sections.

Cleanup

This page needs to be cleaned up. The tables are okay, but it clashes with the other items and descriptions. It needs to be cleaned up, and maybe sorted into subpages. -- Super Sam 12:27, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Update

Okay, I spent quite a while cleaning up the store. How does it look now? If it's good enough, then I'd like to add the id tags like we did with the Floppy Disk Container, and move over the links to the store from the updates series of articles to ones straight to the store page here. Maybe leave the current links straight to the store for now, but since the links get out of dated, I'd like to switch most of them over to a permanent solution here. But I don't want to get started on that unless everybody agrees this page is good enough. Thunderbird
Well, no opposition here. I'm saying it's cleaned up enough. Thunderbird 02:47, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Nice Job Thunderbird and you definitely put in lots of work into that page! I do have two questions though: I didn't quite understand what you meant to do when you said you were gonna add id tages like the Floppy Disk container to change some links... what links specifically were you going to change? Can you provide examples? Also, there's still open the suggestion of breaking this into several pages. What you think? --Stux 15:19, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
I just timed how long it took Firefox to load this page over dial-up (I noticed it was takaing a while, so I pressed Ctrl+Shift+R with one eye on the clock) and it took 10:41. That's in mm:ss. That's ridiculous. Some of these images could probably benefit from PNG optimization. Argh! MS Paint in WinME can't do that. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 04:32, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Homsar update (update..'d)

Just a small update on the Homsar t-shirt. I contacted the store about it. They don't plan to reprint it until enough people request it:

We will count your email as a "vote" for bringing back the Homsar T-shirt.

So, I'm just a friendly reminder. If more people want the Homsar shirt, go tell 'em.

Status update

He'll be back again around the end of March.

'nuff said.

Collaborative Community Project

It's been awhile since we've done a community project, but I think it's about time for another one. I've been wanting to work on Store for a long time, so I thought this would be a good way to get something done with it. A couple of things that need to be done:

Done Images

All of the images now follow the image use policy.

Done Updating HRWiki:Userbox and Flash Store

Both HRWiki:Userbox and the Flash Store have been updated with the correct images.

Done Different pages for each type of product

This is what I've been wanting to do for a long time. Instead of one massive Store article, I think it'd be nice to have different pages for each type of article: [[Store T-Shirts]], [[Store Toys]], etc. This would make Store much shorter, and it'd be easier to keep up with and archive the different descriptions for each product, which change around some. This is just an idea, of course, and I'd like to see some different opinons on it.

If you have any other ideas, feel free to suggest them here as well. —FireBird|Talk 06:05, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

I went ahead and started editing the page based on your suggestion. Is this what you were thinking of, or did I screw up? -AtionSong 03:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
It looks fine to me, AtionSong. If you weren't about to do so, I'm going to continue creating in this fashion. — Lapper (talk) 03:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
I'll Work from the bottom up to avoid edit conflicts. Can you start at the top? -AtionSong 03:09, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
I would be happy to. — Lapper (talk) 03:09, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

It looks like we did a good job! The page looks much better now. Oh, and I'm impressed that in the middle of all this editing, you STILL have time to welcome a new user. Wow. -AtionSong 03:20, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

When you're on the welcoming committee, you don't pass up a new user often. You did a very nice job as well. — Lapper (talk) 03:22, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Good work, juys! —FireBird|Talk 03:43, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Done ID Tags

Don't forget, many of the id tags are linked to from various parts of the site, especially H*R updates. Make sure you either leave them be, or update their links. Thunderbird 03:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I think this will be the last thing we need to do. If we can knock this out, I think we'll be done! —FireBird|Talk 13:03, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
What do these things do? I've been trying to figure that out, but am stumped. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 18:01, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
For linking to a specific part of a table, for instance the Floppy Disk Container. Compare Floppy Disk Container to Floppy Disk Container#tongue of the fatman or Floppy Disk Container#spy vs spy. Usually we can use section breaks (== Section or ===Section===), but in the case of tables we need to "id tag them" so we can link to a specific point. Thunderbird 21:38, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Separation

I really should make a seperate table for Items not avalible anymore. --Dacheatbot · Communicate 17:01, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Do you have any images of them? It'd be really nice to get some. —FireBird|Talk
I meant like the red the cheat shirt --Dacheatbot · Communicate 17:08, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
If you mean making a seperate section for T-Shirts that currently aren't available, we already have one, but it isn't a table. I thought you meant the No Longer Available section of Freebies. (BTW, The red The Cheat shirt is still available to buy.) —FireBird|Talk 17:17, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
I can't find the TGS hoodie on the store --Dacheatbot · Communicate 17:58, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Long and Clunky

Is it just me or does this page just seem awkward to navigate through? I'm not sure what to do about it but it just doesnt seem to fit. DBK! 02:33, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I agree, although, I think it's at it's navigation acme. Bluebry 02:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Store news archive

[wayback machine for hr store] the wayback machine has the front page news from.. wayback. there are pages for 2005 news and 2006 news but why not '04, '03, '02?--Collin 01:51, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Cool. Can someone with more free time add these? - Joshua 15:24, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Edit Links

Is it just me, or when you click on an edit link, does it take you to the next section down? -AtionSong 03:15, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

No, this is a pretty long standing bug in MediaWiki (that so far isn't fixed in 1.6) which causes this to happen if either A.) a section is created with the HTML <hx> tags or B.) there is something on the same line as the section header outside the equals signs. I'm-a-go fix that right now. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 17:51, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Couldn't find it after going through some of the recent revisions, so I think it might have been just you. Disclaimer: I could always be wrong. I'll check some more when I get back from class. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 18:03, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Nope, couldn't find it. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 20:06, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Musical Shirts

The page mentions musical shirts, but isn't that version of the store off the site?

The original musical shirt selection on the Flash Store is gone, but the current store T-shirt page has a smaller rendition of the musical lineup. small_logo.pngUsername-talk 04:43, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Oh. My bad.
(For way more on those musical shirts than you or your grandmother could possibly want, see my talk page!) —AbdiViklas 18:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

What's wrong?

What's wrong with the Store page? I think it look's good. It has alot of information, and everything look's in place. What's wrong with it? Chess Cheese

The Cleanup is old. We already cleaned it up. The template is from a few days ago from before we did. A sysop should take that notice down. -AtionSong 00:53, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Actually, AtionSong, there's a final bit of work to be completed. Since we've moved the products to seperate pages, all anchored links the store are now, in effect, broken. Currently, Thunderbird is on this, but feel free to pitch in. — Lapper (talk) 03:13, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
If TBird is on top of the ID links, are we all set to take the notice off recentchangesnotice and The Stick, Lapper? —BazookaJoe 19:58, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

History of the store

I was wondering if there could/should be a section on the history of the store. Was it always there and how did it grow? I think it would be an interesting section to add to the page, if possible. --Positatewithoutpizzaz 02:58, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Well, there was the Flash Store, and now there's this one. That's all I know. =3 --DorianGray

Why $14.95 for ladies?

Why does it cost more?--Ava 22:35, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh yes!!

Yes!! I saw a store update before the wiki did!! Woohoo!! ...sorry, I've just always wanted to do that before. Please don't spoil my fun. :P

Official store in Atlanta?

I was headed to Atlanta this week and assumed there would be a store (or retailer) in their hometown. Is there any place there that sells merchandise?

The homestarrunner.com store licenses select independent retail establishments to sell some of their merchandise based on these conditions. The list of those retailers is located here. There is only one store in Georgia, and it is in Athens. There remains one official store, and it is on the Internet. —BazookaJoe 17:34, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Amazon.com

I noticed a few Homestar Runner items for sale on Amazon.com:

The first three say "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."

I'm not sure how notable or interesting this is, but I figured I'd post it here regardless. Thoughts? -- Tom 06:26, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Very interesting to say the least. I'd say notable if we can find out the story behind Amazon selling this stuff. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 09:54, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Note how Everything Else Vol. 1 is only "available from these sellers", however. All the others are sold from Amazon directly. (And Volume 2 doesn't appear to be anywhere.) --DorianGray 10:26, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I just wanted to bring

your attention. I'm not sure if you can cease and desist them or
anything, but I figured you would be the person to contact for that.

Tom,

Thanks for the info! We are grateful to fans like you who watch out for pirated merchandise. Here's a coupon for your trouble.

[removed]

Type the code in the "Coupon or Promotional Code" box during checkout and $3.00 will be deducted from your merchandise total of $30.00 or more. In fact, if you want to spread the word around the hrwiki that we're giving out coupons to those who bring these types of thing to our attention, that would be great.

Thanks again,
Karen Wagner

Just a little FYI. -- Tom 04:28, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Homsar shirt preview

I was just browsing the store when I noticed that the preview for the Homsar shirt was in a Flash file. Namely, here. It's pretty weird that it's hosted on the Videlectrix site, and not on the main one, or the Yahoo store. Anyways, does anybody know when it was added, and if so, how and where do we mention it? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:46, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks to archive.org, I have found out that is was put up sometime after June 22, 2007. The Goblin!! 18:53, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
The shirt was re-introduced in Nov 2007, according to Store T-shirts. Whether that Flash file was there then or not, I don't know. I know it was there pre-Christmas, though, since I encountered it then (sometime within a week before Dec 25). That probably doesn't help. =] OptimisticFool 18:58, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Recently read that some people have the power to see when files were "last modified" .. that might help, eh? OptimisticFool 04:15, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Bad Math

Currently, the store lists the Strong Bad overkill combo as being $63.95 separately. I don't know about anyone else, but I do the math as follows: Strong Bad Emails 3 Disc DVD Set $29.95 + Strong Bad Emails Disc 4 DVD $12 + Strong Bad Emails Disc 5 DVD $12 + Strong Bad Sings CD $12 = $65.95. I don't quite know how to phrase a goof like this, so I invite some talented soul to do so. OptimisticFool 04:15, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

It's a common practice to throw in a small discount on combo packs in stores to sell the items... otherwise, why buy the combo, instead of just buying the individual items? -StarLion 15:06, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
