Cast Listing?

Um, is there a reason why Bubs, Coach Z, The King of Town, Strong Mad, Cheerleader, So and So, What's Her Face, The Ugly One, Champeen, and Homeschool aren't listed in the cast? I mean, they're there, and all. - Dr. Clash

There is an ongoing real-life issue regarding one of the items on this page, and until it's resolved, Karen Wagner (sister of TBC) requested that we assist all of them by protecting this page and a couple of others. We were more than happy to comply. You have a Preshy on your head...

After Preshy and Rafferdy jump on Homestar, and before Rafferdy questions his frightened...ness, the transcript lists Preshy's line as inaudible. However, I can distinctly hear her saying "You have a Preshy on your head." I'd edit it myself, but I can't, since it's protected. In the meantime, could others listen to her line, to see if I'm right? - Dr. Clash

Also, if this is the right place to propose changes, shouldn't the three Zelda References be self referential, like this:

  • Ganondorf is the main antagonist of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series.
    • "Wind Waker" (mentioned in the commentary) is the tenth game in the series.
    • Homestar catching Marzipan in a glass bottle is also a reference to The Legend of Zelda series, in which the main character of the game could catch fairies (and other objects/people) inside a bottle for later use to replenish his life. Homestar also sings the musical cue from when you acquire a new item in the Zelda games.

Dissapearance Explanation

I know why The Hurricane dissapeared! The Brothers Chaps were so concerned with playing Wind Waker, they forgot all about her!

Something to add to the references section about Zelda: Considering the comment about a new Zelda game coming out and most of these designs (as TBC say in the commentary) are from 2000-02, it's probably safe to assume that Homestar scooping up Marzipan is more closely a reference to Majora's Mask (release 10/2000), where the Deku Princess was carried back to her palace in a jar similarly after beating the Woodfall Temple. -- King Starscream 18:20, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

wind waker

can someone straighten this out? according to gamefaqs.com, it's the ninth, but wikipedia says 10th game in the series. is there a third site that we could check to break this/multiple other sites anyone knows?

A Link to the Past, originally released in the early 90s for the SNES, was released for the GBA a decade later (with an additional multi-player component). If you count the GBA release as a distinct game, then Wind Waker was the 10th Zelda game, if you don't, Wind Waker was the 9th. Wikipedia is inconsistent on this, depending on which page you are looking it — for example on the list of Zelda games the GBA release is counted as a "remake" and so on that page, Wind Waker is 9th, but in the Wind Waker article itself and on the timeline, Wind Waker shows up as 10th.  Green Helmet 04:16, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

It's common for children to call adult cousins "uncle" or "aunt". At least where I'm from. Guybrush20X6 11:33, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
I've heard that for children calling their parents' cousins "uncle" or "aunt", if that's what you meant. I don't, but I've heard of it. I've also heard it the other way, in that they'll drop "uncle" or "aunt" for their actual uncles and aunts who are much younger than their parents, but that's not really relevant. On the flip side, I have heard people call their cousins' kids their cousins (entirely typically so), but at this point it's getting speculative as to what relation they are to Homestar, so I'll stop.
