Featuring

By my count, Peacey P goes solo in the song for ~63 seconds while Taranchula sings on their own only for only a third of that, mostly doing back up or chorus work. Begs the question who is featuring whom here? Mesmerickiwi

Woah

Is it me, or this sound very similar to the style of Linkin park? (metal with rapping) SI.com!

Not at all, Linkin Park is emo rap, Taranchula is death metal. Linkin Park is almost screamo, except you can tell what they're saying. Taranchula's words are dark and difficult to understand, but by no means screamo. Gulstab 16:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

No, but I mean in: metal+rap+random logo insertions in music video. SI.com!
Linkin Park isn't metal, it's hardly even "rock". Gulstab 16:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linkin_park first 2 paragraphs. SI.com!
Don't try to 1up me, I think we can all agree that Linkin Park and Taranchula sound nothing alike. Gulstab 16:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
As mentioned in the article, the idea for this video stems from the soundtrack to the 1993 movie "Judgement Night", which featured various metal/rock and hip-hop/rap groups collaborating. I can't imagine Chaps Bros. had Linkin Park in mind when they created this. If it sounds similar to you, good on ya. Maybe mention that in the forum for more, shall we say, consructive responses. Mention the missing "critique" portion

I think a someone should add an explanation for the cartoon's end, where you see The Cheat's disappointment of not being commented on the video, maybe refer to Rap Song, Everybody to the Limit, etc

Good point. User:Chipwich

Reference?

Could the rap/metal mix be a reference to bands like the devil wears prada who cover songs like still fly? Though one's a cover and the other is a featuring it has a similar outcome. Wecannotbesaved 19:40, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I don't really know what devil wears prada is but this song is like a direct spoof of Bring the Noise by Anthrax/Puplic Eenemy - β@®אַ0ح 23:06, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Paws

I don't know about anyone else, but I really don't feel comfortable saying The Cheat has "paws". Lets just be safe and keep it as "hands". TheTeach!

I don't now what we usually would call them, but they're definitely not paws. So yeah, change it. -PeterImage:Petersig.png 2:05, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
They're actually a bit like flippers. For example in rough copy when he slaps them together.~Ozker

referencing real world videos

I'm pretty sure there was an official Tool music video that featured slabs of meat slithering across the floor, only to be pinned in place by nails. I've been searching youtube for it, but I can't find it. I can't remember which song it was but I'm fairly certain it was on the same album as "Sober". If anyone can find it, it should probably go in real - world references.

Wouldn't be the first time. See also: death metal#Real-World References. --DorianGray 06:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
It's more like referencing taranchula's video which in turn referenced Tools video - β@®אַ0ح 23:08, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Is it just me, or...

is The Cheat getting better with Flash animation? but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 23:13, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Although this is probably more of a forum question, I gotta' agree with you. The little "foot-tap" thing in Rap Song and the "headbanger" thing at the end of this one definitely shows some improvement. Although, it would probably be hard making really crappy animations after doing good animations for so long (that last sentence was about TBC's animation, not "TC's", alright? Now gimme' five...). DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 23:22, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
We've already noticed that the cheat's animation is higher quality in his music vids than in his plain ol' cartoons. — Defender1031*Talk 23:44, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't know that. U^_^ (the "U" is a sweatdrop) Oh, and DevonM, about the high five...okay! but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 23:13, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, they may be higher quality, but they're still pretty hard to take seriously. ~Ozker

Ice Breath Fire Breath

Is this just to explain Turancula, While doing that bring peacy p, for the next episode Strongebadia The Free. This my gesses debate to see if it a fact or a super wild gessus I made dection from new players, strong mad with the cardbord cutout and Trudemank.

Umm...what? but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 23:14, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Prehaps! I'm've was to make Turancula often times. Peacy P? Know. Best cardboard cutout results twice again. OptimisticFool 00:28, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
I think anonny was asking if this was related to Strong Mad's appearance with a Taranchula cardboard cutout in the preview for Strong Badia the Free. To which I answer: not without something better to tie the two together. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 00:31, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
So, what about ice breath fire breath? ~Ozker
That's what Strong Mad said in said preview while standing behind said cardboard cutout, of course. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 21:33, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Hmm... "Turancula", "while doing that bring peacy p", "Strongebadia The Free", "this is my gesses debate to see if it a fact or a super wild gessus", "I made dection from new players"... Looks like a winner to me! Dearest Anonny, I have some good news for you! I DO remember the talkpage comment I ZOMGWTPFLOLBBQed the hardest! And I'm still remembering it right now! And now if you'd please turn in your hymnals, and join me in singing number 119, a-ZOMGWTPFLOLBBQ.

mp3

Anyone have an mp3 or ogg of the song that they'd like to upload? That would be pretty cool.
