By my count, Peacey P goes solo in the song for ~63 seconds while Taranchula sings on their own only for only a third of that, mostly doing back up or chorus work.  Begs the question who is featuring whom here? Mesmerickiwi

:It's still the band playing, even if they don't sing for most of it.

:::If you'll look at the lyrics and the page title, you'll see that Taranchula wanted Peacey P in the song to "make his product phat for him," the product being the song. That's why Peacey P "sings" more than Taranchula. -- 22:27, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Could the rap/metal mix be a reference to bands like the devil wears prada who cover songs like still fly?  Though one's a cover and the other is a featuring it has a similar outcome. 19:40, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure there was an official Tool music video that featured slabs of meat slithering across the floor, only to be pinned in place by nails.  I've been searching youtube for it, but I can't find it.  I can't remember which song it was but I'm fairly certain it was on the same album as "Sober".  If anyone can find it, it should probably go in real - world references.

Anyone have an mp3 or ogg of the song that they'd like to upload? That would be pretty cool.

How to record (forums are down by the way)
-

-
Since I don't really care to ask for someone else to do it again. I have Vista, and I want to know how to record my "Stereo Mix" device, which won't capture ANY sound with sound recorder.

-

-
Quoting myself:

-
"I cannot record anything using it even though sound is playing on the computer. What am I doing wrong? Or can Realtek audio still not record itself even though this device is here?"

-

-
:Well, I use a very simple way. But not a simple recorder. You see, I have long had a cord that has the plug (like the part or some headphones that go in the jack.)I just plug both ends into the "microphone" and "headphone" jack, and then I start up my sound editing program: Audacity:The Beta Version. I adjust the volume on my computer so it doesn't max out the decibels, and then I have to save it to Mp3 using a lame_enc.dll file that I downloaded. Just Google that. Maybe it's not so simple, but it gets the job done. But I enjoy making mp3s, just ask me and it's done, then and there. 22:04, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

::Gah, I'm so stupid. My Stereo Mix volume (even at 100) is extremely low.

You might as well mention how peoples' limbs don't move but actually warp through space to different positions along their path of motion.  This is an animation; the saw blade could be spinning either direction, and could appear to be going either direction depending on its speed.  So I'm going to just remove that remark. 216.9.11.201 00:25, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Lyrics in visuals don't match
Okay, so there's a problem.. the lyrics in the Trudgemank Visuals article are totally different from these. Take a look: "Getting paid to rhyme in Scandinavian" "Getting paid to rhyme with Scandinavians", "Clean the gravy out your ears cause your head is a biscuit." "Leakin' gravy out your ears cause your head is a biscuit"

I know I sound really stupid by asking this but is "Trudgemank" a real word? If so, what does it mean? Is it just another made up word? Lastly, if it is a word should it go in the explainations? --Jellote 16:53, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

No. "Trudgemank" is not a real word. The Brothers Chaps made that word up.

I hear "Taranchula", not "Taranckula", with my high-quality sound-canceling headphones, thanks for assuming I don't have them by the way. I hadn't even noticed it had been changed. But then lots of people disagree with my high-quality sound-canceling headphones, so let's discuss. -- 03:27, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

-
:Sorry about the misunderstanding... It's just that, mostly everybody I know uses speakers... (Besides me). I hear Taranckula. At first it sounded like he said it correctly, but then I thought (and thought and thought). And I'm pretty sure he said Taranckula. (tar-ae-nk-uhla). I even sampled what he stated. 04:14, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

-
::I hear "tuh-rank-uh-la" also. I think the joke is he's being asked to perform with some band he's never heard of because they're from a different genre ("Hello? What? Who? Taranckula?"), has no interest whatsoever ("Naww, fool."), and then agrees to do so when he hears how much he's being offered ("Wait, how much? Dang!"). Basically, until he realizes how much he's "Getting paid to rhyme with Scandinavians" he cares so little he doesn't even get their name right. 12:25, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

:::He doesn't pronounce it quite correctly regardless of which consonant he's using, but then this is Peacey P. He's never easy to undashtow. Truth is, I only barely hear the "CH" as it is, as he's kinda mumbling over a loud bass line. But then that's kinda the point: it's a wonder any of us can make out any consonants at all. It's probably safer to stick with the correct consonant just because it's so hard to hear. -- 15:53, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
