[edit] This Page

When I first saw the title for this page I thought "Great. Another 'running gag' page about a common word." I must admit I'm pleasantly surprised that this is not the case. This page clearly shows a basis. Good Jorb! — Defender1031*Talk 23:39, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks one million! I've been thinking of creating this for a while, but I wanted to first make sure it was a valid running gag. Has Matt? (talk) 23:47, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dan

Isn't there some toon or sbemail in which Strong Bad says "This sucks total Dan", or something similar? CompGrl323 (talk · edits) 17:58, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

No, but there's a user page with that phrase.. you might recognize it.. it's User:Sysrq868. =] OptimisticFool 18:12, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Haha, well that explains it. I read Sys's userpage just as much as I watch the toons, lol. :D CompGrl323 (talk · edits) 18:15, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
I remember that time, i asked "what about sucking me?" oh, good times. — Defender1031*Talk 18:18, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pending Deletion

I think that the article should be pending deletion (because "total" has been overused in several paraphernalia). If you find my statement consent(agreeable), will you be able to delete the page? -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 20:16, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

This page should not be deleted. It describes how the word "Total" is used in odd and interesting contexts. Even though the word is a common word, it is still a valid running gag, as mentioned in the first section on this talk page. We have several pages similar to this one (the best example being Style). — It's dot com 03:34, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I support keeping this page. As Dot Com mentioned, total is used in weird and unusual contexts, such as total journalist or total load, that make it worthy of running gag page. wbwolf (t | ed) 03:39, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
We're totally keeping this page. Total, man. — Defender1031*Talk 11:30, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
