In Blue Laser's article, it is pointed out that his voice sounds similar to Cheerleader's. Current revision as of 17:15, 16 July 2010

Is it a good idea to list the Topplegangers as a seperate faction, unrelated to the Cheat Commandos unit, and do a brief description of each member in the Topplegangers? Just in case the Topplegangers play a role in any future Cheat Commandos shows? I am a little uncomfortable of placing the Topplegangers alongside the rest of the Cheat Commandos.--72.208.76.124 21:22, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

I guess I decided to do it unilaterally. If you don't like it, please post on this talk page why, or just revert.--72.208.76.124 22:58, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Would the real Ryan S leader please stand up?

So which is it? Swampslash is the leader in 8 Bit is Enough, but Subtlefuge is leader in both halves of the two part episode. Which is the one we should go with? --Jellote 23:39, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Subtlefuge, because It says in the toon and not the game (even though the games are canon), and because maybe TBC decided to change the leader. --BubbleRevolution 12:36, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Voice Recognition

In Blue Laser's article, it is pointed out that his voice sounds similar to Cheerleader's. Now, while I don't necessarily agree with including this sort of stuff in articles, if we are going to, should we write that Swampslash's voice is similar to the Blacksmiths? Monkeytender 21:39, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't think either should be mentioned. As has been said many times before, with a few exceptions, it's one guy doing all the voices. Naturally there'll be some similar-sounding overlap. --DorianGray 21:52, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
So should I go ahead and remove it from the Blue Laser aticle? Monkeytender 22:44, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Naw, it's cool. BLC sounds exactly like Cheerleader, but that's it. --Jellote wuz here 23:05, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I think Swampslash sounds more like the Blacksmith than Blue Laser sounds like Cheerleader. Monkeytender 00:53, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Either way, none of it is notable. — Defender1031*Talk 00:54, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
I removed it. (It was added here.) As DorianGray said, Matt does almost all the voices on the site. Some of them are going to sound alike. For a comparison to be useful, it needs to come from outside the site. Mentioning the similarities to Cobra Commander works because first-time viewers may already be familiar with him from some other source. Mentioning the similarity to Cheerleader, on the other hand, assumes a familiarity with the rest of the H*R body of work, and isn't useful except as trivia. In other words, if someone has seen Teen Girl Squad, then they've probably already seen Cheat Commandos, but if they haven't seen CCdos, then there's no reason to think that they have seen TGS. This issue has come up enough to consider making a Sound-alikes article, similar to Sound Effects. — It's dot com 01:04, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't be completely against making it. However, would we include a "listen" section, or just have it be "These guys sound alike; these guys sound alike too"? Monkeytender 01:08, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
