Ding! The Interview is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

Tweened??

"Mike doesn't usually put anyone's walking sequence in movie clips so that they can be tweened."

What the heck does that mean? Can someone who does know reword that? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 18:00, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

In Flash animation, tweening (short for in-betweening) is the process of only animating the major (key) frames, and having the rest be generated by the software. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif 18:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
I read the Wikipedia article, but I still have no idea what that sentence is supposed to mean. ~ Laramie, Why? ~ 19:29, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
a common practice for (lazy) flash animators is to make a movie clip (an object that has animation or motion in it, but can still be moved around and animated with) of a character walking (or some other repetitive action), so they can animate the character walking once and then just have it move across the screen so it *looks* like the animator took the time to animate the character walking. Un question?

Maybe this is a sign that I've got too much time on my hands... but I was wondering: in Strong Sad's line En garde?, should we actually include an inverted question mark at the beginning (¿En garde?)? Since technically the whole sentence is French. But one could argue that it's adopted enough as part of our vocabulary to use English punctuation. French doesn't use the inverted question mark. Only Spanish. — Bassbone (TALK Strong Mad Has a Posse CONT) 01:32, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
¿Verdad? Oops. —AbdiViklas 01:37, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Someone should make a mirrior for the unfinished version. I really wanted to see it but it wasnt working. Dagger (talk · edits) 23:18, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

metro.pop?

What the heck does that mean? "Metro.pop Interview" is the name of the unfinished version (as listed on Secret Pages) What does that mean?--Darkangel Get offa me! 03:17, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Date Conspiracy

This article says this came out in 2002, but All Toons says it came out June 4, 2001 or earlier (although that is mixed in with other 2002 dates). What's going on here? Surely there is a conspiracy at work. OptimisticFool 22:22, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Hmm... Further interestingly, The Interview is not listed on any of the H*R.com updates pages. --DorianGray 22:31, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

I, like, do think the transcript is wrong.

I hear "I like to enjoy baking" not, "I, like, do enjoy baking". Not enough of a pause for those commas, and it just seems too "what the heck"ish to be what he said. — Defender1031*Talk 17:52, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

I just rewatched this, having totally forgot that I had ever made this comment, and again noticed this. I cam here to post about it, and lo and behold, in a moment of existential something-or-other, I found my own voice staring back at me. Since there's been no comment one way or the other in over 3 years, I'm going to go ahead and change it. — Defender1031*Talk 07:31, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
