It may be possible that the 'blinding voip' from Science Fiction Greg's chest may be a reference to The Mighty Boosh, in which whenever Old Gregg lifts his (its?) skirt a light shines out.

But it appears that I was mistaken, as series 2 of The Mighty Boosh (in which Old Gregg first appears) doesn't seem to have ever been shown in america.

Split Filmography?

Greg names

First, I think Sci-Fi Greg should just be officially referred to as such, not as Science Fiction Greg. I realize that What's Her Face called him by his long name, but I think that's similar to how someone might refer to someone who usually goes by Mike as Michael. "Sci-Fi Greg" is written on his shirt, TBC call him that in the commentary for Teen Girl Squad Issue 11, and that's how it's sung in the opening song to 4 Gregs. Second, why to we currently spell D N'D Greg's name with a capital N and no space between the N' and the final D? There seems to be another space on his shirt, and I'd think that "D N' D Greg" or "D n' D Greg" would be more consistent. — It's dot com 05:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Regular Greg

I don't think regular Greg should be on this page because he's not part of the gang (although mentioning him as a footnote with a link is fine). He's a Greg, but he's not one of the Gregs. If necessary, I would support renaming this article "The Four Gregs" to explicitly exclude regular Greg. — It's dot com 20:22, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't mind if he's included or not. So far "the gang" has only made one appearance, and he has also. I would wait until more exposure is had before splitting this hair. MetaStar 20:53, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

If he was supposed to represent Furries or Math Geeks, they would have called him Furry Greg or Math Geek Greg. No, he's just Regular Greg.

Open Source Greg - Motion To Add Criticism

It's ironic that he's Open Source Greg when we watch him in a flash. Flash is a non-free software, meaning GNU/Linux cannot readily have it pre-packaged for immediate use on its system (though the software can be readily available for download in some way, and not just through repos). He'd be using a GNU based Linux if he really was open-source. Exa: Ubuntu does NOT have Flash pre-installed, you have to download flashplugin-nonfree (Real Flash Plug in from Adobe) or the Gnash Flash Player. Gnash is quite different from the regular flash player: Gnash blocks all flash until you click on the flash object (much like NoScript at first.) But, in Gnash, you cannot turn off this blocking feature, and you are redirected to use the real Adobe plugin to not have flash blocked at all times. Since Open Source Greg seems lazy, I would venture to guess that he would use flashplugin-nonfree instead of having to click the flash object every time he wants to view a flash object. ColdReactive

First off, you seem to be confusing the agenda of the Free Software Foundation with Open Source, and they are not at all the same thing. More to the point, are you suggesting that because the Brother's Chaps medium of choice is Flash, they ought not portray a character who potentially may have an idealogical objection to Adobe's licensing strategy?
