For some reason

For some reason, Strong Bad has never referred to the Tandy as "the Tandy".

Tandy's Gender

I think the Tandy must be a female computer since in the e-mail "sisters" (e-mail #35) Strong Bad says "and the old girl's working again" in the beginning. I refer to my computer as a female since the old clunker is very temperamental. (lol.) --Osiris-Kitty 01:55, 19 Nov 2004 (MST)

  • Just because Tandy said "Tell the printer I'll miss her", it doesn't mean that Tandy is a male. Tandy and the printer could simply be friends. I think Tandy is a girl, and I think the Compy and the Lappy are guys. As for the Tangerine Dreams and the Pom Pilot, I'm not sure what their gender is. -- Ian911299

Steep Prices and Trees

"Bubs later salvaged the Tandy 400 and sold it to The King of Town for $900."

Is this part true? Where is it from? I can recall Strong Bad needing $900 from Strong Sad to get a new computer in gimmicks, but I can't find any info on how much Bubs sold it for. -BazookaJoe 14:51, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Real Computer

On the fact that the Tandy 400 was a real computer, it's true! I heard it from a librarian in an obscure library in Northeast Harbor, ME: "The first computer my son had was a Tandy 400." (all the library's computers were Tandys). -Tapd260

Flashback Computer?

Since it has now appeared twice, should we change the computer used in personal favorites and lady...ing to 'Flashback Computer', or something else appropriate? It was never stated that that computer is supposed to be the Tandy, it could be that it's supposed to be a computer even older than the Tandy. Any thoughts? Mixed Message

At the end of gimmicks when Strong Bad is in Strong Sad's room after the Tandy explodes, he says he liked that computer. While in sisters he says he hates it. Is this just because he missed an oppertunity of hooking up with Ali and Ali's sister? User:Catman87
