Is this necessary? BBG 03:14, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, yes, it could be. That is, if we rounded up more facts. I like the idea personally. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 04:40, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I second that. Although, maybe the title could be changed to not generalize the article. Like, "Strong Bad Contradicting Himself". DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 04:47, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
This is pretty much a rehash of Blatant Lies. I don't think this page is needed. Dr. Clash 22:24, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I said that to myself when I first saw this page. Then again, I don't really think anyone is really going to be looking for this, so i don't think a redirect is necessary. Basically, Dill beat it. — Defender1031*Talk 22:35, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I disagree. While these are blatant lies exposed, this is a totally separate gag. Strong Bad being obviously lame is noteworthy and deserves its own article. Being cool is such an integral part of how SB portraits himself. Keep but rename Loafing 22:56, 4 August 2008 (UTC) about the name "Strong Bad Admits" or something like that? I know it's not great, but it's the best I can think up.--NintenEthan 00:32, 5 August 2008 (UTC) (Forgot to mention: I think this deserves its own page.--NintenEthan 00:36, 5 August 2008 (UTC))
What about putting it into a section on Strong Bad's character page? Shadoman 01:27, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Shadoman, this should be mentioned on his character page. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 01:48, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
I think this could work as an article relating to Strong Bad's own admissions of well, lameness. But it needs a rename of some sort. Heimstern Läufer 09:09, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
I think "Strong Bad Contradicting Himself" was a good title (kudos to DevonM!). But how do you rename an article? (Being a newbie, I don't know stuff like this.) User:Bloohoo P.S. How do you make a sig?
We rename articles using the Move option, but only after a consensus is reached. Personally I think this should be added somewhere to the main paragraphs of Strong Bad's article. For example, and I paraphrase, "While Strong Bad often claims to be pretty cool, he usually turns out to be actually quite lame. In your edge, he responds to Gee Tee's concerns of him losing his edge by recounting the times..." and so forth. – The Chort 10:56, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Much Better Idea.™ XD User:Bloohoo

(restart chain) Actually, it looks like it's already been done somewhat. Here:

"Strong Bad talks a big line, claiming to be a criminal mastermind, a muscle man, and totally popular with the ladies, though there is little evidence of any of these claims, and no shortage of evidence that they are all untrue. Strong Bad refuses to acknowledge this however, and continues unaffected with his delusions of grandeur. He is convinced that Marzipan likes, or has a crush on, him when in fact she "really doesn't like him at all." Due to his delusional opinions about himself, much of what Strong Bad says is obviously untrue. But Strong Bad also seems to state that he is uncool as seen in the email pizzaz."

In other words, BALEETE IT! User:Bloohoo

Update: Just moved it to "strong bad contradicting himself" (I don't feel like using capitals right now). -User:Bloohoo
I think you missed the part about AFTER consensus has been reached. — Defender1031*Talk 00:55, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Oops. I apologize. <:P -Bloohoo

How about "Strongbad's style flubs"? Or "Strongbad being uncool"? Pointy King 03:46, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

I like the flub one! Acam30 03:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

How about "Not so Strong, not so Bad"?

I think that's a little too artsy for an article title. --DorianGray 03:50, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

How's about "Strong Bad being uncool? Pointy King 19:30, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

....A bit too edgy on your opinion. How about: "Strong Bad's Lame Moments". If there's no better name for the article, we can at least try to delete the page. -Ümläut76 (The C Zone · Talk here!) 15:26, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Strong Bad being lame? Maybe like Strong Bad Being Like An Idiot if we are going to call it Strong Bad being lame.Doctorwho295 Decemberween, 2008

How about "Strong Bad losing his edge?" Zowayix 14:49, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I like "Strong Bad Losing His Edge". Like Emails Taken in a Different Direction, it's a title that is borrowed directly from an email. It's also in the current title of the main header on the page. The Knights Who Say Ni 20:44, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

The main problem I have with this article is that the definition of "being lame" varies from person to person. I'd describe most of the music played on the radio as "lame" but others will disagree. Some think obeying the rules and doing your homework is "lame", others think following the rules is vital for a safe, stable society and doing your homework is highly important for academic success. Here, I'd think Strong Bad obeying his parole and being a bit slow to work out the consequences of moving Homestar's mattress would not make him, as it is claimed, "lame", but in this case obedient to the law and a bit slow. Not having any lady friends does not nessecarily make you a "lame" person, just unpopular with the ladies. My point is, how are we going to decide wether something is "lame" or not? – The Chort 18:59, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Well, Homestar mocked Strong Bad for selling Hot Choco, which I think made it count as being lame. And taking a while to figure out the mattress thing seemed to hark back to your edge. I don't think an appreciation of tube socks qualifies though. BBG 18:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Why don't we create a section on Strong Bad's page called "Strong Bad's Perceived Reputation" and a sub-section called "Compromises of SB's Reputation"? OH yeah, Del Taco this page. Strong Vader 19:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I think that the title is fine as it is,but I have an idea for an alternate title. How about "Strong Bad lacking coolness" Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 19:25, 07 October 2009 (UTC)

Maybe we should call it Strong Bad lieing? - User:POM Z/My lil' sig 19:09, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

"Strong Bad's Uncoolness"? Honestly, I don't see why this isn't just a section on the main Strong Bad page. It's not really a specific running gag, but more of a description of his overall personality. — It's dot com 00:01, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps you could name it "Sucky Strong Bad" Sorrow Tammer 123 23:52, 25 October 2010 (UTC)SorrowTamer123

Does Strong Bad saying that the "views expressed in the following email do not neccisarily reflect the opinions of anybody cool... oh, except me. I'm cool." act as "being lame", as this page calls it? I was going to add it, but didn't know whether or not it counted and left the page halfway through typing it. So, does this count? --Jellote wuz here 19:15, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Strong Bad Getting Beaten Up combo perhaps?

I believe that it really adds to the article. Is anyone feeling me on this? --Palla 23:27, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Recent deletions

Hey there say there Defender, I understand why you deleted the thing about pom pom and the geddup noise, they don't look good on paper. But when you watch the toons it feels like that's the gist of the joke that's being made, especially in the geddup noise case where strong bad is very embarrassed of the fact. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 17:36, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure why you read the geddup noise that way. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with him at all. It's a parody of celebrities who get big and then abandon the people who gave them their start, like lead singers of famous bands going solo. I'm not sure why any of that makes SB uncool. As for the Pom Pom thing, it's again, just Pom Pom having gotten big and decided that he's too cool for SB. — Defender1031*Talk 18:34, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
That's more or less how I interpreted it, but the thing about the geddup noise was that he lied about it afterwords, which seems to fit with the theme of this page. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 18:46, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
I'm not sure what part you're referring to. I don't recall any point in that email where he lies about anything, be it his own coolness or otherwise. — Defender1031*Talk 19:27, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
What was he trying to cover up after he was shown demonstrating the Git Outcha Seat sound? The Knights Who Say Ni 04:09, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Ah, gotcha. I missed that. (I even WATCHED it again to make sure and still missed it.) I'll put it back up then. — Defender1031*Talk 04:37, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Yay! --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 05:56, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Question marks

Is this page about SB not being cool, or about him accidentally admitting he's not cool? --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 18:19, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Both, but it needs to be a direct indication of SB not being cool, rather than just "some character didn't seem to like him at this moment". — Defender1031*Talk 18:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Alrighty then. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 18:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

One Two

Does him singing in the shower about being a "woman on the prowl" wearing a hearted hairnet warrant inclusion? --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 21:46, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Tough call. I feel like it's not blatantly over the top enough... But I'm not sure why. He's singing in the shower, about being an independent woman, and then his voice cracks. But I still feel like it's not quite there. I dunno. — Defender1031*Talk 11:41, 16 August 2015 (UTC)`
You forgot the hearted shower cap. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 16:21, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Tighty whitey

Why the crap isn't the bit about SB wearing questionable underwears and a v-neck to a slumber party on here? --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 07:56, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
