[edit] Why Shadowy Figure?

Why "Shadowy figure"?

Shouldn't he be called "Silhouette" or something?

He was never mentioned as a shadowy figure in the game...--DumDe 11:21, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Well, he's often referred to in hrwiki as 'the shadowy figure' or 'the mysterious figure' so I thought I'd call him that when I made this page. -Tapd260

Why do people think that's The Cheat next to him? It's obviously part of a cape.

Totally a part of his cape. Otherwise the cheat would be like 5 feet wide. I totally think its 2X06 Coach Z. Notice the rounded part at the back? Look familiar?

I say we wait 'till the last level comes out. Bassium!

I guess I see the resemblance, but at first I thought it would be a 20X6 Strong Sad. This guy doesn't seem anything like Coach Z other than head shape.---RatherAnnoying 20:15, 29 Sep 2005 (UTC)

And how much is Stinkoman like Strong Bad, really? --DorianGray

I think that other than Coach Z, he could also be:

KoT: Large size. Maybe futuristic crown? Controller of and ruler of the robots.

Bubs: Large Size.

Strong Sad: Large size. Maybe head lump thing? Clearly smart guy.

Strong Mad: Large sive. Maybe Cheat on top of head?

The Cheat: Maybe on a giant robot or inside a giant robot? Clearly smart person.

Homsar: Would be a funny messed up twist in the plot. Variation of his hat?

Just some thoughts. 20X6 GEM

Woo! 20X6 Homsar! -- Super Sam 12:14, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
That'd be cool! He'd be all "All your base are belong to purple!" Sweet. Has Matt? (talk) 12:18, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
I'd really like to see Strong Sad as the Figure. "Oh, well, I got lonely, and Marzipan wouldn't return my calls, so I invited Homestar over for some nachos." I can see it now. And he's always looking down, wearing a #1 cap. Bluebry muffin 16:18, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
I don't know, I think that hat is a clear-cut sign that this is Coach Z. That was the first thing I thought when I saw him. -Unknownwarrior33 02:32, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

its obviously coach z I figured that out the first few seconds I saw the villian.and also whoever the moron is who said the cheat was a giant robot should look at the games menu which depicts the cheat as a cute little japanime animal (whith a really small mouth)

He didn't say 20X6 The Cheat was a giant robot, he said that 20X6 The Cheat could be on top of or inside a giant robot. Pay attention. --Der Pepper
Wait, I'm not saying that I think its Strong Sad. I'm just saying that would be funny. Bluebry 15:36, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Oh, man, I sure hope it isn't Coach Z. Him being it would be just too annoying, because of all you guys saying it has to be him. - Joshua 03:12, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
I agree. I believed he was Coach Z's future form at first, but I think it would be SO TBC to throw us a curveball and make it somebody completely different... The Marauding Maniac 03:03, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Look, we will all know when the 10th and final level is finished. User:Xifihas 00:10, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
I think hes Coach Z as well, But on Bonus stage, Evryone (or at least I) thought Evil was McCloud, But he was someone no one expected. And he did it agan. User:Yo yo mom
It's 20X6 Coach Z, wearing shoulder plates and a cape. — 63.254.152.87 (Talk | contribs) 21:03, 25 July 2006 (UTC) (left unsigned)
Yea, I noticed that. TheThin 21:03, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
He'll probbably discard his cape before the fight with him starts, judging by his sprite in Make-O your Own Stinko. Most villians wearing capes discard them before the fight, right?

After 'trading cards' its pretty clear that is not the cheat.

It kinda reminds me of Zubs or Coach B, which could be the 20X6 version of Bubs and/or Coach Z.--152.163.100.7 00:20, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Heh. It's so obvious that it's 20X6 Coach Z. Kaine 06:08, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Stinko Sprite!!

Click on the "empty space" above Pan Pan in Make-O Your Own Stinko for a Shadowy sprite!! -141.133.145.118 17:54, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Or, rather, the space below the tree. There's room for about two of those, and the one above Pan Pan is empty, which is why I didn't find it. --DorianGray 18:41, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Should the sprite be uploaded onto this page? (like all other Stinkocharacters have?) -141.133.145.118 18:43, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
I don't see why not. --DorianGray 18:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Uploaded--Darkangel Get offa me! 03:32, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
I think that sprite's a sign that level 10 may be released soon...-71.170.80.177
Maybe, but that's speculation, and would probably be better suited to the forum in any case. — Defender1031*Talk 15:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Does Anyone Else think that looks like sayain armor he's wearing? Like, from Dragon Ball Z?

The cape looks like a cloak or blanket, or something, it be cool if its strong sad

[edit] Toon/Sprite Move

Just thinking... could we move the Make-o Stink-o pic so that the article looks more like Stinkoman, 1-Up, and Pan Pan? And then, when/if that's done, perhaps we could get a pic from Twenty THANXty Six to put in the spot where the sprite pic is right now? Strongkinghomsarsmith 22:35, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, I shouold at least make it look like Stinkman's, 1-up's, and Pan Pan's, right? Strongkinghomsarsmith 23:29, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Now that that's done, who's up for a toon image? Any takers? Strongkinghomsarsmith 19:12, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Shadowy Figure's Real Name!!!

I was going through the script for the Stinkoman 20X6 cutscenes in Flash Decompiler the other day, and I made a shocking discovery! The sound effect for this guy's voice is called "textType_zsabre.wav". So we can not only assume that this guy's 20X6 Coach Z, but that his real name is Z Sabre!! --173.141.165.12 22:59, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Hmmm... intriguing. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:08, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Well, 7 years later and we have proof! Well, possible twists notwithstanding. --Stux 17:07, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit] Merge?

This Page has been marked for merger. However, I'm wondering if it should be merged or not? I've seen edits that hint at the Shadowy figure being Bubs (this and another one I can't find). If true, even if Z Sabre was the Shadowy Figure at one point, but isn't anymore then this should probably be treated as two separate (yet equal?) characters. --Stux 17:36, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

They're the same character, as revealed in the ending. Z Sabre (who is Coach Z's counterpart) *is* the shadowy figure, but he's jokingly referred to as "Bubs" in the end credit scroll. --BubbleRevolution 18:04, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
There are a couple of instances in the level of a shadowy figure attacking you. It looks identical to the shadowy figure that ultimately turns out to be Z Sabre. "Bubs" is listed in the generic enemy part of the scroll. I don't believe he's actually Bubs, absent further evidence, though. The Shadowy figure that appears in cutscenes is absolutely, 100%, no questions asked Z Sabre. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 18:35, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
I think the Bubs thing is an intentional translation error (if we can wrap our minds around an error being on purpose) and a call back to the many, many characters created by mistranslations such as Sheng Long from Street Fighter 2. Guybrush20X6 20:07, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Could be, my guess is it's just jokingly giving him the wrong name on purpose since he's obviously Coach Z, though. --BubbleRevolution 20:56, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
I've finished merging all the relevant information from Shadowy Figure into Z Sabre. The page is safe to delete or turn into a redirect now. -- 50.4.167.5 21:08, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
I've redirected it. Thanks for your work! Lira (talk) 21:21, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
