[edit] Confusion

I'm confused. After saying that other than Strong Sad once, no one ever pronounces or spells Cardgage's name with a tilde, the essay continues: "It may seem that this simply means that Senor Cardgage's name is spelled and pronounced with the tilde. But this is later disproven in the email pop-up, in which Strong Bad refers to himself as "Senor Muybueno", again misusing the Spanish word."

First, what in the preceding makes you say the "name is spelled and pronounced with the tilde"?

Second, it's not clear what's being disproving, or even what's disproved.

I'd edit it, but I have no idea what's being expressed here. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:40, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Actually, that was a typo. It should read "Senor Cardgage's name is spelled without the tilde." Thanks for pointing it out - I'll fix that. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:44, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Decided to rewrite the last paragraph - that should hopefully clear up the confusion. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:47, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
It's clearer now. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:53, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wow...

I'm surprised. :) I created this article, and aside from the above-mentioned typo (which I reworded entirely), a category fix, and removing the stub, nobody has had anything else to add? That's amazing. :) — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Um... I love it when a plan comes together? --TheNicestGuy 20:06, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Senor Muybueno

Should we say the Spanish translation for the name? (Senor Verygood) Bluebry 02:48, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Probably should, though it really doesn't have a particular meaning. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 04:38, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Marc Brown

just wondering, anyone know anything about a local clevland furniture dealer named marc brown? its like a real life version of this guy.

Well, this article is about basic mispronunciation of the word Señor, not about Senor Cardgage himself. If you go to the talk page for Senor Cardgage, there's a whole discussion about this there (although the guy they're talking about is named Mark Norton). I know the guy who wrote Arthur Marc Brown.

[edit] strong sad

strong sad says it without the ~ on the n in kind of cool. turn up your speakers, strong sad clearly says se-nor. Dr. Savage 05:31, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

senor cardgage is ALWAYS without the ~. — Defender1031*Talk 05:33, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Nevermind, he does say sen-yor. Dr. Savage 05:35, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, he pronounces it more like "seen-yor" .. but, yeah.. close enough. OptimisticFool 05:37, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
