Crack Advertizerman?

It sounds more like the narrator from the easter egg in 2 years. And Lazylaces, Matt Chapman is an accomplished voice artist. Many of his characters sound nothing like each other, and most don't even sound anything like him. What the pfargtl?

Okay, neverminding what 'pfargtl' is a stand-in for in 'WTPF?', how is that an instance of swearing? Pfargtl isn't even a real word. I kind of get it, since the PF is obviously a stand-in. I'm just not wholly sure it should count. - Wrath 13:24, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

.egg == pom pom?

I don't really see how a website in the .egg domain is a reference to pom-pom. I know he's egg shaped and all, but it's totally out of context and random to associate these two things. I'm curious what others think before I bother with STUFF though.—BryanCTC 16:48, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

It's not Pom Pom's shape that's the reference, it's this line from pom pom:

Goofed goof

"On the "Shorts" Toons page, it says "A deleted scene for a delted scene?!" under the description."

Isn't this, in theory, an inside reference to 50 emails, as HSR attempts to type deleted? Although it isn't one of the words he tries, it still could be a reference, nonetheless. Zerlock1124

actually, your examples are directors. you might want to know that lafontaine is the voice behind the trailers, rather than the maker than the movie. his style of voice and announcing is often parody'd. such as in our own strong bad email narrator.

The inside reference to "Everybody! Everybody!" deserves some mention here. The background music to Dancin' Bubs, as well as the song played in drive thru stereo through the Dancin' Homestar Runner Musical Nobot from the What I Want easter egg. Oh, annnd the name of the ensemble poster. Annnnd it can be heard again in Intro. Any other instances that I've neglected to mention here? What up g?

Okay, so Dot com removed the link from:

  • Strong Bad uses the correct hand to type each letter in "pfargtl" (using the normal QWERTY keyboard layout) except for 'g', which should be typed with the left hand, not the right.

because he said it was a coincidence. I say differently. I say, if they went to the trouble to make sure each hand motion was precise, why flub the g? Because there's a running gag with "G" and they KNOW there's people on this wiki with so little time as to check these things. It's very much their style to put in a random, out-of-the-way, hard-to-find reference like this. I say link it. DeFender1031 14:05, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

I think they messed up on 'g' because they wanted to break up the left-right sequence, which otherwise would be RLLLLLR. Or maybe Mike types 'g' with his right hand. Or maybe they just screwed up. This is all speculation, naturally. Cottage Cheese

I added a goof yesterday about Homestar's head not being in front of the speech bubble during the theatrical trailer, and it was removed. Now it's back, but it's a remark. What's the difference between a goof and a remark???-- Nevadie 21:39, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

I changed it to a Remark because I thought that The Brothers Chaps might have made it intentional. Maybe they wanted to keep Strong Bad out of the view so it wouldn't spoil the deleted scene. Or it could just be a stylistic choice. Either way, it's safer to put it in Remarks than in Goofs. Read HRWiki:Standards to find out more about Goofs and Remarks. — Has Matt? all of the other deleted deleted scenes have changes between them and just the deleted scenes. so its hardly to be unexpected that one of the deleted deleted scenes may have changes from the trailer of jsut the deleted scene.

DVD Menu
