Push the Pop Tarts
There are only two mentions of Pop Tarts in the entirety of the H*R cartoons. They're not related, and I don't think they're notable. Without something more, I think this should be TIRED OLD STRONG BAD JOKE'D. --Jay (Talk) 18:24, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with Jay. It seems like the Pop Tarts references were just throwaway jokes, and not an actual attempt to put them into the HR universe. What is that freaking word? Sbmaniac 17:04, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

- I like this article. Even though it only has two appearances, I think Pop Tarts contribute to Homestar Runner and are particularly interesting like C'mon! It's FOG! Keep and remove tbd.

- The Fog Bottle was kept because few people would have noticed it without the page. And how does Pop Tarts contribute to Homestar Runner? It is used as a topping on pizza, and used as a representation for a guy with financial issues. Not buying your argument. Sbmaniac 23:55, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Honestly, Michael, is that "sig change" *really* necessary? You've already made your point that you want to keep the article, and going crazy about it is just making you look silly. That said, while I don't support the fog page, either, at least said item had a somewhat important role in the one toon it was in... Pop Tarts... eh, nothing more than casual mentions. This is Minor Foods material, definitely. Merge and Redirect. -YK

Everything I contribute is watched, and when I looked at it, it looked a little more like an article, it looks better, this barely ever appeared, in fact it was like Cow Clips (such a tragic delete), you don't see that deleted. It really saddens me that instead of investing your time coming up with persuasive arguments concerning your opinion, the people in this thread only confuse it with useless repetitions. It does not help getting your views across when you add joke in every second word, and a non-related link on every third. If you one wants to be humorous, there are subtler, more intelligent ways to do it.
And while I'm here, this page should be deleted. If Pop Tarts pop again in some other toon a couple of times, we can discuss restoring this page. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:10, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

- Meaty, I value your opinion, and I'm glad you are trying to reach a consensus. But if you want to make a case for another article to be deleted, please do it in that article's take page, not here. - In reference to the point which I think you're trying to make, Meaty, I do not think Pop Tarts have played an important role in the plots of either privileges and Senor Mortgage. In the former, it is briefly mentioned and in the latter, Balding Man wants to buy a half-eaten pop tart. Neither fact has any influence on the toon that it appears in, for the plot would not be in any way affected by the absence of Pop Tart. Meaty, tell me; why are you so obsessed with keeping this unwanted article? Are you really that fanatical about Pop Tarts? And why does everyone except me hate C'Mon! It's Fog! so much? What did it ever do to you? By the way, the "If you delete this article, I'll delete a different article to get back at you" argument is not valid and will only lower other editors' opinions of you.
