"Dog" or "Daunsk"?

Since it's kind of a rap song, I've always thought they said "Dog, what's that staunch?" instead of "Daunsk! What's that stanch?" The BGG

  • I thought it was "Daunch", rhyming with "Staunch". Retromaniac

Lyrics Clarification

I think that they are trying to say in "poot slap" that somebody farted or something and that they tried to 'slap' it away. "Daunsk! What's that staunch" is probably their way of saying 'what's that smell?' Also, I think that after they are done with their, uhm, flatulence, they refuel with beans and say "round two, what's next?" I dunno, I'm just guessing. daunrealist

I originally heard "Poot Slap" as "Poop that" and "Daunsk! What's that staunch?" as "Dog! Poop that dog", as if they were trying to poop on a dog. Thank God you guys corrected me. --TROGGA! 14:31, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Deep Purple

"The song is an homage to Smoke on the Water, by Deep Purple." Uh, I don't think so. Can anyone provide any clarification for this? I've removed it from the page. -- Tom 20:48, 7 Jan 2005 (MST)

huh?

How on earth do you people know those are the actual lyrics? I mean, its not like you can really understand them... I always thought it was: "boot slap boot slap gone with that thong". But maybe (hopefully) that's just my dirty mind speaking.

It's spelled out in the third question of Homestar Quiz. -- Tom 22:22, 21 Feb 2005 (MST)

Is 3-Dee a real band?

Was this song made by a real band or is it just mike and/or matt doing it? Where does that 3-dee "picture" come from? --68.149.165.171

Yeah, they are/were a real band. I think Matt was in it or something. The image is from the Downloads menu. Click Songs. -- Tom 00:48, 28 Feb 2005 (MST)

Poot is not a real word

1. I'm pretty sure it is. Refers for a fart or something. 2. Even if it is, so? Neither is baleeted, xy (20x6), tooty-two, ARROW'D, etc. I've removed it.

Yes, it does refer to flatulence. woddfellow2|? 16:53, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

Babelfish Dutch to English

3DEE Poot Slap Dans = Leg Slack Dance

I'm Dutch! Dutch 'poot' is pronounced different. Also, poot means paw, not leg. Kvb 17:04, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

But since when do Babelfish services provide good translations? --Jay (Talk) 17:40, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
