Made in Not America

Should we still count the Canadian YCDOTV and the British DangerMouse as Nickelodeon shows? Bad Bad Guy 02:00, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

H*R is American, so if the show is best known to an American audience through Nickelodeon, I think it applies here. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 14:47, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

In Syndication

  • Jibblies 2The Cheat dresses as Penfold from DangerMouse, Homestar dresses as Artie from The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Bubs dresses as Ross from YCDTOTV, and Marzipan gets slimed for saying "I don't know". Strong Bad is dressed as Beetlejuice, whose ABC cartoon later ran in syndication on Nick and other networks in the 90s. Homsar is dressed as the Typewriter Guy from Sesame Street, which has been seen on Nick and related networks in syndication for over a decade. Only the boldfaced part is being discussed

The reason I deleted the Beetlejuice fact twice is that TBC could have been referencing Beetlejuice the movie instead of Beetlejuice the cartoon. I deleted the Typewriter fact twice because American Nickelodeon never played Sesame Street (at least from what I heard) except maybe once to promote Noggin. Just out of curiousity, is there an actual document claiming Sesame Street was a regular Nick show? If we return these costumes, we have to arrange them by order of appearance. Bad Bad Guy 22:18, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
If there is proof Nickelodeon regularly played Sesame Street, we would simply add a link to the Sesame Street article like I did with Charlie Brown and 2 Nick@Nite shows. Bad Bad Guy 01:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Deleted?

It really isn't that prominate. Raiku 20:43, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Eight appearances of shows connected to Nickelodeon is actually quite prominent in my opinion. Keep. The Chort 21:28, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
What is this jargle? This page has been here for... *checks history*... Over a year... a fine way to treat it so shortly after its birthday (Nov 1)! This page meets all the requirements for a running gag page, and a misspelled claim that it's "not prominate" or "prominant" or "pomegranate" is not going to change that. Hard keep — Defender1031*Talk 02:51, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
I... see absolutely no reason to remove a perfectly legit fairly long-standing page. Plenty of references, so it definitely fits the criteria. Nothing more to say. Except it's *definitely* not "pomegranate". =P Keep. -YKHi. I'm Ayjo! 04:36, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Richard Scarry

I don't think we should list The Stick dressed as Richard Scarry's Lowly Worm here. Lowly Worm did not originally appear on Nickelodeon, but rather in the multitudes of books Scarry wrote that were far more popular than the TV series ever was, and which had no connection to Nickelodeon at all. —Guard Duck talk 02:17, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

But there were never any pictures of Lowly Worm dressed like that in the books. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 02:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Are you kidding me? the barbershop when i was a kid had the books and he was ALWAYS dressed like that. — Defender1031*Talk 02:51, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I concur, that's the iconic image of Lowly Worm right there. I had never even heard of "The Busy World of Richard Scarry" until I read the page. —Guard Duck talk 02:56, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
