Head on fire trick

I found a glitch: if you click and drag charecters the fire will stay and when you scroll over to downloads his head will fall of and when it comes back his head is still on fire yet it is not black

um......who are you? i can't understand a word you are saying. please make some sense. Seriously 18:28, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
A lot of people have tried to add this one over the months and years. Why not put it on the page? It's interesting and takes a specific mouse combination to make it work. By including this tidbit on the page, we might even be encouraging more people to check out the page on the official site. — It's dot com 21:34, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

I know, and I was the one who JUST added it. Firebird, why did you delete it? (Oh, and it wasn't a "Repeat Violation", the first one was someone else. 151.197.118.98 21:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

I think he's deleting them because it's a click-and-drag glitch, which plagues many of the main pages. I remember putting a lot of them on a long time ago, only to have them removed at a later day. Granted, this one has more unique results than many, but it's still another click-and-drag glitch. - Joshua 21:45, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
I don't even think that it's that notable. If we allow this, we have to allow click-and-drag Flash artifacts on all the other Main Pages. --Jay (Talk) 22:07, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Addendum: for instance, on Main Page 11, it's possible to get Strong Bad (without Homestar) in front of Homestar's backdrop. Is that somehow less notable? Where do we draw the line? --Jay (Talk) 22:12, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
That's a good question. My point is that we should draw a new line, one where this fact and the one you just mentioned would be noted. This is a knowledge base that should encompass everything, and people who don't know about the tricks think they're cool when they find out about them. Since there's no question the information is true, is there no place for it anywhere on the site? — It's dot com 22:16, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

Since I'm newer than you fellows, I hope you don't mind my asking, but why are Flash artifacts considered to not be eligible as Fun Facts? Is there a good reason? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:18, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

From HRWiki:Standards:
Glitches
Similar to Goofs, but limited to mistakes in the Flash software. NOTE: Flash byproducts are NOT allowed, unless they note something humorous or extra. A Flash byproduct is something odd or strange found by manipulating the Flash file, either by watching the .swf file directly, or by right-clicking and using the playback options. This can include missing parts of characters, different things "outside the wall", animations continuing while paused, etc. (See The FAQ for more information).
It seems to me that there is wiggle room in there to include certain Flash artifacts if enough people think they're funny or interesting. — It's dot com 22:23, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
