:::::::::::Unfortunately, there are very good historical reasons why anonimous users are not allowed to create pages: page creation spam/vandalism.  Even with captchas as a deterrent, a determined user can create many pages in a short amount of time.  I'd imagine it would also be difficult to write code that would track how many pages the user has created recently and prevent further page creation.  Even with that, the wiki would still open itself up to page creation vandalism.  We'd get far more vandalism than legitimate pages created, and so the risk is not worth the reward.  Thus, I would recommend either requesting new pages be created via the usual means or requesting an account be created for you on this wiki.  --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 07:47, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit] Rename

Should this be renamed "Real life foods"? Wolf O'Donnel 06:22, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

You raise a good point. All of these foods definitely appear to be of the dead variety. --Jay (Talk) 06:23, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I remember making this page back when anonymous users could make pages back in the day. (No, I can't prove it, just take my word for it). Back then I thought "real-live" was a mistake made in haste and would have chosen the title "live-action foods" if I could do it over again. This is also why most of the pages that link to this one use the phrase "live-action". -- 68.37.43.131 13:31, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
(aside) I remember those days. Those were good days. Good days. -50.234.189.37 14:00, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
(I support renaming the page) -50.234.189.37 14:00, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
The one problem I have with "live-action foods" is that there's not very much action going on with these. I would support something like "photorealistic foods" or "photographs of food" or something. "Non-Cartoon Foods in Decidedly Cartoon Settings". Something indicative of "these are photos used in cartoons". --DorianGray 20:32, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
"Food Photos"? — Defender1031*Talk 21:05, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
(edit conflict'd) I'd support "Real Life Foods" or "Photographs of Food". "Photorealistic" carries the implication that the image isn't actually a photograph but an imitation of one. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 21:09, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
"Food Photos" would work too. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 21:09, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
"Food Photos" is pretty good, although it doesn’t quite capture that they’re real world photos (as opposed to a character taking a photo of food, in-universe. -50.234.189.37 22:14, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I suggested "live-action" not because it contains action, but because it implies that it is the opposite of being a cartoon. You know, food that isn't a drawing, but actual food. Or at least an actual model of food, if we're talking about the phony stuff used in food advertisements. -- 68.37.43.131 22:30, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
I support Live Action Foods. The term "live action" usually implies action, but I still think this sounds best. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 23:02, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
