Necessary?

I don't see any correlation or connection between these events. Just because it has been mentioned a few times, doesn't make it a running joke, there needs to be some common theme. — Defender1031*Talk 18:13, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Care to elaborate? They seem common enough to me. HaldoHelscome!
They are common enough, sure, but there's no common THEME to all of them. As in, there's no connection, nothing that makes me think "oh, this instance is related to the other 3". — Defender1031*Talk 19:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
I gotcha. I admit, the What's Her Face one was kind of a stretch, but I think the others can stay. HaldoHelscome!
You still seem to be missing the point. Just because, let's say, someone eats a sandwich, and then later, someone else eats a sandwich, does that make it a reference? It's only a reference if there is something similar about the WAY they ate the sandwich. If i'm still not making myself clear then maybe let's wait for some more opinions, maybe they can explain it better? — Defender1031*Talk 20:04, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, let's wait for some more opinions. HaldoHelscome!
I think the first two are definitely related, and if we found a third occurrence of Strong Bad or someone else hypnotizing themselves, then this would make a great article. However, the other two are a bit weak. I don't see Strong Bad hypnotizing Strong Sad. Strong Sad is only spacing out, that's not hypnosis in my book. Now, "putting a trance on this guy" sounds much more like hypnosis, and someone might add it to a well established article without a problem, but right now, it makes a questionable third occurrence. This is a cool article, and I think that one day, we will get a solid third hypnosis from TBC. But for now, the article is ahead of its time. Loafing 20:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Agreed, some day, this page will more than likely exist, but right now, the connection is too tenuous. — Flashfight 22:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
If you both think that some day hypnosis will be relevant, can we keep this for, say, a year and see if there IS more hypnosism before deleting it? Do you know what I'm talking about? HaldoHelscome!
That never works. Anyways, I say delete until another 3 appearances comes up. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 22:39, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Of course we can keep it... in the deleted archives. The page can be restored if it becomes relevant later. — It's dot com 22:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
"Deleted archives"? Seriously? HOW DO I FIND THIS HOLY PAGE?!
Waiting for a page to be relevant would be akin to making a page for EVERYTHING StroBro says and just waiting for it to become a running gag. That system would simply never work. — Flashfight 22:45, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
